Watch pressed himself closer, trying his best to comfort her. He gently pressed his nose against her neck, exhaling softly. His long tail draped gently over hers.

"Worry not, my dear." He spoke reassuringly, "I think I might know how to help. Not only the children, but for those suddenly itchy hooves of yours, too. Have you heard the stories of the Kin who have been blessed by the MotherFather? The ones that change their forms to be one with the Swamp?"

A curious look passes over her face. Blessed by the Motherfather... her mind churns with the stories she's heard. Their bodies change somehow when the Motherfather sets the light of fireflies into their eyes. Maybe made closer into Her own image?

"I've heard... stories. Kimeti fall asleep, and then the great Crane blesses them with new bodies and strange magic. But I've never met one." Intrigued eyes wander over to the buck. Is he suggesting that...

"... do you want to go find one? I thought, well... I know they're not just stories but... to meet one?" Her forehead wrinkles as she brings her eyebrows together. Meet one? Why would a Kimeti so blessed want to meet her? And how?

Watch gave an encouraging nod. There wasn't much time left before the babies would arrive, but a blessing, he felt that it could make all the difference.

"I do. I know it is strange, but, I have heard that nothing but good comes from these blessings. It will make our children strong, agile, cunning, whichever they decide to grant them. And I'll go with you, I promise."

Seeking such a being out... is this really a good idea? None of the stories about them are bad per say - they're always presented with respect and benevolence - but in some tales they acidic and difficult, even if ultimately they are good. One doesn't have to be kind or gentle in order to be noble. The doe is quiet for a long time as she weighs her options. Unconsciously, she shifts her weight to be more comfortable. Is this just some silly rabbit chase? Maybe, but... What's the harm of going? He seems so enthusiastic about it. It would be almost cruel to deny him this chance, as unlikely as it is.

"Yes, let's. It could be of help and even if one doesn't grant us an audience, we still have tried."

The white buck give a yawn and a soft smile. Excitement almost glows in his tired, red eyes as he rests his head on his forelegs and smiles up at her. An adventure, something different, and sharing it with a beautiful doe. He was very happy.

"So, shall we make leave at dawn?"
