Aurora's words suddenly made things very complex for Aventine, who reached a hand up to scratch the base of her neck. "Well, then," she said, after an awkward pause of consideration. "…I guess when you phrase it like that, you guys, uhm. You don't really seem all that bad."
She knew nothing of the Dark Mirror Court, sans what she had been warned and what Aurora was telling her now. Certainly the warnings had been about a different group? There was no way Aurora was the same menace she'd been told were so dangerous—right?
"So, uh. Yeah, I guess I'm not totally sure on what's going up here, but I'm going to at least take everything you said into consideration—deal? I figure there's gotta be something more for why we're picking a fight with you—I mean, you just want to go home? Seems kinda like we'd be the monsters if we were stopping you from going home," she noted after another awkward pause. "So…where exactly is home for you guys? You don't…you're not here from Earth?"

"Deal!" Aurora beamed. This seemed so cool, talking to someone of Order like this. Not exactly making friends, but at least getting the word out that they weren't really bad people was a START. WELL, save for the fact that they were apparently murderers... Aurora still needed to clear that up with a few people. She certainly wouldn't tell Aventine what she'd heard. Since they were both clueless it wouldn't hurt to leave that part out. "Space!" She pointed out towards the sky. "So I hear. I mean, I don't remember ANYTHING about living out there. But that's where all the senshi are from apparently. We're like, aliens. Just more magical and less weird and bug-eyed, I guess." Aurora chuckled under her breath at the thought of them as googly-eyed aliens. "For some reason all of us are HERE now. I sure don't understand it at all. I mean, you're a knight, right? You get a cool costume too and all that. What's your story?"

Aventine followed Aurora's hand up to the stars, just staring at them as the Dark Mirror Senshi spoke. To hear someone describing themselves as an alien was just odd—and not something she could totally wrap her mind around. "Space, hmm? Seems…weird. Aliens and all," she murmured, though hastily shook her head and returned her gaze to the girl before her. "I don't exactly understand it, myself, but I'm pretty sure I'm not an alien. My story—I was running around one day and found a little bottle and—Bam!—then I was a page. If there's more to it, I'm still working it out. All I know is that I've lived here, on this planet, my whole life. And then one day, for whatever reasons, the universe decided that wasn't good enough. So, here, before you, is Aventine, Page of Venus. Of Earth, as, you know. I've never been to Venus."
She paused, shifted positions, and then added, "Well. So far as I know. At least not in this life time."

She giggled. "Yeah, I guess we're both kinda clueless about all that. I wonder if you're actually an alien though. Maybe you were born in a past life on Venus and PCHOO you saved Venus from all destruction or--" She couldn't help her fit of giggles. "Hehehe, pchoo. Uhm, but I mean! I don't know what I mean! I think it's kinda cool, being someone you didn't really know you were. It makes things all the more cooler. Like, 20% cooler." Aurora paused, scratched at her lower lip. "Arrre there other Venus knights? Maybe if you find one, they can help you understand that. I don't think there are any other senshi of romance or Sailor Auroras besides me. Like, bonafide one of a kind. ... hehe, pchoo." The girl couldn't help it. She was easily amused.

The word 'pchoo' would not have amused Aventine had Aurora not repeated it enough times for the phrase to become comical. She was particularly surprised with how helpful the Dark Mirror Senshi was, considering all that she'd heard about the court. "I will, ah, definitely have to talk with the other Venus knights. If there are a lot more or something—I've met one, Caelian? But we didn't talk for too long. I'm hoping to change that, though. I just. Well, you know. She was there when I Aventine'd up for the first time, and I kinda wanted to make a good impression with her to, ah, make up for my freakout. So, she's on my list of people get in contact with once I pick up a little more information. Maybe you could meet her some time," she offered, flashing a smile. "Actually. I'd like to introduce you to everyone, I think. You are just adorable. I'd take you home with me if I wasn't sure someone would get mad at me for it," she laughed.
Aurora might have been on the opposite side of the war, but Aventine had quickly warmed up to her. If all Dark Mirror Senshi were like her, hell—what were they even fighting about?

"Ahahahaa, really?" That was a first for her! Being called adorable and a knight wanting her to introduce her to all of the other knights. It made her blush a bit and fidget. She... she had made a new friend and it felt great! "If you don't think people would get mad, I guess. But I mean, I've met a lot of people who really don't like me just because of what I am. So, ah." Aurora didn't sound like she was afraid. And she wasn't. "Hahaha, yeah! You're very cute too, Aventine! I like you a lot!" If only they'd all just get along like they were! This would make things a whole lot easier!

"Oh, stop it," Aventine gushed, swatting at the air nonchalantly. "You are just adorable. I don't think it's so much about what you are as what you do about it," Aventine said, thinking it a wise statement. "You could be Godzilla and as long as you were doing good deeds it'd be okay. But, don't worry! I'm not gonna like, drag you into a trap or something! I wouldn't introduce you to anyone that I knew wanted to hurt you. But—I don't know, maybe it could be good, right? Er, not you getting hurt," she hastily clarified, "I meant just talking. I think that if that's the biggest issue we've got, we can work through that. Maybe a little therapeutic counseling or something—who knows! Maybe we could all help each other out or something. Hopefully. Seems a lot more mature than trying to kill each other, at least."

"Ahahahaha.... ah.... well, if you insist." There really couldn't be any hard in talking, could there? After all, maybe this whole war business was just based on a nasty misunderstanding and through her involvement she could clear things up and save lives. .... <******** YEAH, LET'S DO THIS. Aventine looked at Aurora, and then another grin sprouted on her face. "Oh, my, I just want to steal you up! I should go before you tempt me any more! I oughta get back to my patrol or whatever—I'll let you get back to your stuff, too. But it was a pleasure to meet you, Aurora, so let's meet up again sometime soon! I'll keep my eye out for you, so you take care until then, all right?"
She probably shouldn't have been looking forward to another meeting so much, but whereas she assumed her first meeting with a Dark Mirror Senshi was going to be mentally scarring, if she left now she knew she'd be leaving in good spirits.

Oh my, just what happened? Good things happened, that's what! "You too!" Aurora called after her, waving her arm. "Be careful out there!" What a nice knight person! She hoped all of the knights would be as nice as her. Which, alas, wouldn't be the case.. but live and learn!
