Luke says handing her the glass of orange juice, and then taking a seat next to her, but not close. "And don't worry... I know her, she... uh... we... heh, I'm her commander, even if she doesn't seem to respond to me that way... ... kay?" Luke says patting her on the shoulder quickly then leaning forward on the table. "Sooo... anything new Corporal?" Luke asks sarcastically.

Tarlotte seems almost dazed from what Evelyn said, but she tries to figure it out
NT-001...The First Success Of Project Newtype...A Weapons Project...she...say that Tarlotte am person...not is weapon...how for?...
Tarlotte's eyes light up(not just an expression with her, her eyes actually glow brighter) when Luke agrees with Evelyn, she is not understanding why, but she felt almost excited by them saying so
She looks at the glass of orange juice that Luke gave her
"Thanking you again Luke Commander..."
Tarlotte picks up the glass with both hands, and drinks it quickly, after all, thats how she learned to... finish it quickly so the other children don't steal it
(Yep, more backstory to the project :p

Evelyn switches back to her playful mood and sits across from Tarlotte with her head resting on her arms. "Of course you're human," she says with a nod, then winks at Luke. "And nope, nothing much new. The only thing interesting that happened was that at one point something in the ocean rammed the boat. I almost fell off!" She does a horrible impression of herself losing her balance to emphasize the point.

This is Sergent Damewood, come hell or high water, it will be done. "Hmm... well, there is a lot we don't yet know about this island so, it could be almost anything... ... anywho.." Luke looks to Tarlotte again, "Tarlotte, you don't have to call me commander,... you're not under my command, as far as I know,... so just call me Luke,.. or just Sergent Damewood, kay." Luke says nicely as possible, without seeming rude. I still don't get her... I heard they were very impressionable... or were supposed to be...

Tarlotte still does not fully understand why they insist she is a person when everyone else always called her a weapon...a thing...or a freak...
Tarlotte nods 'no' in response to Luke
"n-no Luke commander... Tarlotte am programmed to..follow assigned commanders orders...How am person if...programming?"
She looks away, not understanding still, her and the other children were taught to think of themselves as sentient weapons...of course most of the others died...
Individuals' Behaviors Marked Illogical...Action Course...Unknown...If then my program guide have no understanding..how can me?...

Tarlotte,.. access code Lima Delta two five, Beta Hell, zero zero nine one, mark, one one zero zero six, ... ...who is your programmed commander at the current moment?" Luke asks Tarlotte,
I wonder if she is programmed to operate as that one I saw once before?....

" Luke is looking at her, almost perplexed by what is going on. Maybe she is one of those new ones like I thought... supposed to be more human like... and kinda think for themselves... ... thats almost a scary thought, but it could be a good one too... ... ... Luke looks over to Evelyn for a second, then back to Tarlotte, "Kay then... hummm... ... ... code Lima Delta zero zero nine one, close A.I. construct and insertion... ... ... ... I don't.. eh, I guess you really are human, you can think for yourself, that is... if you aren't officially programmed to anyone, then you don't have to take orders from anyone then technically... ... I don't know, ... what do you think EvilLynn?" Luke asks with his kinda sarcastic voice tone.

Tarlotte watches Luke and Evelyn, seeing if they understand better than she does...

Evelyn watches the exchange with an expression of bewilderment. How does Luke know all these weird codes? Has he known someone like her before?
When he calls her "EvilLynn," she glares at him and crosses her arms but answers normally. "It seems to me that she is programmed to follow you, but she doesn't quite understand how to use the human part of her mind."
She turns to Tarlotte afterwards, who is seeming very confused. "I AM certain... And no, you aren't broken..." Grr..... I hate these stupid "projects"..... I can only imagine what she went through to fuse her body and mind with a computer like that.....

"If she is programmed to follow me then.... wait, why me,.... I'm not the highest ranking..... wait, right now I guess I am huh?" Luke is thinking out loud to himself while talking to them at the same time.
Maybe we need to work with her... get her human side out again... ... ...
And why are you looking at me weird?.... I know codes.... all Sergents are given access codes....

MESSAGE FROM CORE CONSOLE....NT-00 HAS BEEN CONFIRMED TO HAVE SURVIVED AFTER BEING DROPPED FROM THE PROJECT, CURRENT WHEREABOUTS AND CONDITION UNKNOWN She alive?...is it something I should telling towards them?
Tarlotte's eyes open widely out of surprise from the message she recieved in her processor for a moment and the purple eye glows brightly, but the blue one stays normal tone

Luke says sympathetically, looking at the table, then to Tarlotte. She's blinking again?.... whats going on in there--"ummm?... what is it?" Luke asks concernedly. Putting his hand near hers by natural reflex. And leaning sideways with his elbow on the table holding him up.

Tarlotte giggles at Luke's expression, but then she quickly becomes serious and almost morbid when Tarlotte says "not...all others children died..." She remains silent, however, and waits for Tarlotte to continue speaking.
