The time for hiding might just be over
But that doesn’t mean I’ll go crawling back to the Light
When the Darkness was what saved me first

Man always tries to justify his existence
Man always tries to justify his actions and wills
But does good intention clear them of guilt?

”From the Shadow, we crawled out….”

Kinetav just grinned and even chuckled at Farah's response, ecstatic to see that her first day on Rykros had been far greater than his own; mentally he admitted that the day in question hadn't been eating in such an inn or even free for most of the day as he had been imprisoned temporarily. Farah's temper was that of playful, even happy joy despite being on a foreign planet about to dine on unknown food while she barely knew him; his body fell backwards, sighing in relief visibly as he felt himself sink into the chair. "No, don't worry about it...I've just always been the one to be taught about the planet, not try to teach about it," Kinetav mused to himself as his glance was cast around the room, lost in thought about how to reply.

The Omen leaned forward over the table and looked right at Farah as he attempted his best to explain about the planet and the nations within, "You're on Rykros. There's far more than jungles and deserts, each of the nations having their own capital and unique style. You've already seen the heart and style of Ernya, now in the capital known as Veriglen." His voice trailed off as the waitress came back in with a tray that had a bottle filled with white liquid with bubbles inside of it and two glasses on it, setting down the glasses behind a small amount of the liquid was poured in his cup first. It was not his own memories that reminded him of how to act or what to do, but Edge's whispers and thoughts took over his actions as the waitress looked at him inquisitively; he smiled over at the waitress and his hand reached forward in a manner that was relatively new to him as he awkwardly grasped the cup. He took a small sip, swishing it inside the glass while looking at it as he tasted it; something in Edge told him that it was good and he nodded silently at the waitress as she filled up their glasses and down the bottle before leaving the room. The Omen looked over at Farah with a small air of bewilderment as he said, "I truly have no clue how I did that...where were we?"

"Ah, right, sorry...brief descriptions of the nations," Kinetav smiled as he continued to talk, "Indelca is an interesting nation, their capital a floating city with decent technology. Then there is the warm islands of Mau, their beaches second to none but overrun with bandits currently as we are attempting to re-establish order. There's the frozen Kishu Tundra, their technology second to none save for the Citadel...but my nation is at odds with the Citadel in a sorts, an old feud between the militaristic Crimson Legion and the wilders of the Desert still raging." Kinetav thought again for a moment, drinking more of the wine that had been brought to them as the next subjects were delicate and closer to him, "The desert is not as barren as one might think, our sunken capital of Andalusia housing our main groups of wilders and citizens. It holds a primal yet ornate beauty to it, one of the main places where I have been welcomed but I've sensed no prejudice against someone like us from another world. The Swamp has been possessed by a group of people who would like to see all of the "dark" beings dead..." He managed a good smile as he grasped his wine glass and raised it high to Farah as he spoke happily, "But I know where we can get you fine clothes here in Ernya and you have nothing to fear concerning persecution from this nation or mine. If you will have it, I will show you around you may choose where you wish to live, although you know my bias towards my nation and my hope..." he winked with a playful grin as he raised the cup to his lips next, "To a beautiful, bright and new future for you on Rykros!" He then drank deeply before he set it back down and smiled over at Farah, "Anything else you'd like to know?"

”….and to the Shadow, we will return.”

A maid knocked timidly before quietly sliding into the room. "We forgot to give you the keys to your rooms, Omen," she said quietly, holding out two keys to Kinetav. "Adviser Evvie said you would need two rooms but felt it better not to explain why." She set the keys on the table as the waitress returned with two helpers. "We decided our seafoods would be the best to your tasting today, dear Omen." Dish after dish was opened to show sampler sized of a variety of seafood entrees, each made for two people to sample. It ranged from grilled white flake fish to a deep coppery pink fish that might have been sushi cut. It was evident the amount of care and consideration put into each dish. "You came at a good time. The annual chefs summit is this week so some of the best Ernyan chefs are in the city right now." They moved about setting out the dishes for Kinetav and Farah. "Is there anything else you would like or should I check back in a half hour to give you plenty of alone time?"

Reclining in the chair as she was and watching Kinetav think about how best to answer her, Farah couldn't remember being this comfortable in 4 years. She knew for certain that she had never been this relaxed, even in her childhood.

Farah smiled as she listened and eagerly soaked up the information that Kinetav was relating to her. He was cut short and she watched intrigued as he seemed to focus inward. Then with only a little hesitancy he made it through the wine tasting. It was fascinating to watch another person do things that in the past had isolated her from the rest of her world. She knew that he had to be tapping into the wealth of knowledge his exodus had accumulated. It was soooo nice to be in a non hostile environment, where her race didn't label her a freak.

As Kinetav smiled at her and resumed informing her all about this wonderful new world Farah reached forward and picked up her glass resting it on her knee as she reclined again crossing her legs on her chair and listening earnestly. This planet sounded amazing and so very different from the crowded industrial world she knew. She sipped the wine tentatively and smiled when the lovely taste exploded across her tongue, it was sweet but not overly so and Farah enjoyed it immensely, despite never having wine before.

She blushed as Kinetav toasted to her with a wink and a genuine smile and spoke of shopping. Smiling and toasting him back she drank a little more and then responded with a mischievous grin. "I can think of no greater honour than to be escorted across this vast planet by none other than the high knight of the devil's eye, The one, the only, the Omen!" giggling a little because she could anticipate his reaction to this teasing she continued more honestly. "In all seriousness Kinetav, it would be lovely having you show me around this brave new planet.

Farah's jaw dropped as a ridiculous amount of exceptional smelling and looking food was then paraded into the room and set before them. She noticed in the back of her mind that the maid gave Kinetav a pair of keys, but she was too busy trying to determine what on earth she should try to eat first, instantly feeling famished.

She drank more of the wine and smiled at Kinetav while she all but bounced in her seat. She was completely oblivious to the conversation around her as she waited for him to dismiss the servers and start sampling the feast with her.

”From the Shadow, we crawled out….”

Kinetav rolled his eyes with a grin on his face as Farah's taunt hit home in a hilarious way, the Omen shaking his head and covering his eyes with a hand as he did so. "Oh Emerald, why'd you have to give it away so soon..." he mused and chuckled out loud as his body imprinted itself into the cushion, his head looking up at the ceiling visibly relaxed. He rather enjoyed being unknown to some, yet he had to admit that it was fun to be able to enjoy the leisure that he currently did all because fate had allowed him to be exiled onto Rykros and have Telara first call him the Omen, on top of his uncanny similarity to Krayth. He popped his neck left and right for a moment, rubbing his neck and noticing that he was a little tense as he stretched and he set his drink back down. Farah's more sincere words lulled him further into relaxation as he turned red visibly, his cheek's burning doing more of the talking than he did as he replied, "No, really the honor would be all mine Farah. Perhaps after some training, whether in this nation or my own brethren in my nation, I would be more than happy to show you around."

A small knock drew his attention towards the door, slightly upset at the intrusion as a maid showed up. Yet he did not yet it show for he reminded himself that it was only her job and she did not mean to intrude, especially when she looked so timid. While perhaps it was for the best that two rooms were provided, Kinetav began to wonder if he couldn't at least continue the conversation even after dinner in a single room and even found himself a little unhappy that two rooms were provided to his astonishment. The keys were pushed to the back of his mind quickly, however, as the waitress and multiple helpers returned. The sound of seafood and the trays that were brought in caused his mouth to water as each of the plates looked like they were prepared for a king, and each of the seafood looked absolutely amazing. Their timing to have come during the chef's summit seemed impeccable to him as he just stared at the food; still looking at the food, he spoke absently minded, "I think we are more than set, thank you very much..."

His steel grey gaze slowly returned to Farah with a grin ear to ear, the day's events seeming all too good to him as he spoke without thinking, "Is this real? Pardon me for my cliche, but this seems all too good...please, help yourself..." Picking up a utensil, the Omen stabbed it gingerly into a piece of the flake fish and brought it to his mouth; the herbs and taste were present and yet not overwhelming, obviously cooked by the chefs that the waitress had talked about. From one dish to the next, the Omen pulled a few of the samples onto his plate as he smiled over at Farah with a slight smirk on his face. "I bet you weren't expecting this, Farah..." he said with a playful grin and a chucke, "it's okay, I wasn't either...was there something else you wished to talk about or know about?"

”….and to the Shadow, we will return.”

╔════════════════════════╗
"What injustice have you committed?"
╚════════════════════════╝

Krona whistled a bright tune as she flitted through the room, stripping of her cloak and armor. Her body tingled, anticipating the feel of hot piqued washing away dirt and melting away tension; her tongue quivered with the anticipation of heat and flavor.

Only her mind worried; its desire was only partially sated. She had was she wanted, but not what she needed. That had escaped her grasp thrice now.

I feel more sympathy for my past enemies now, knowing how much of a b***h we avengers are to find.

Considering that you yourself are a void-sworn, it’s not so much that they are difficult to find, as it is that you are terrible at seeking.

The thought of replying with her own caustic comment merely made her weary, so Krona ignored her mother and focused on the expected problem of fitting into the shower. As always was the case, the shower at the Inn was a narrow little space enclosed with glass that a normal human would be cramped in.

At her height there was no hope of even getting through the door.

Well speak of the devil…

A comment that she would have ignored caught her full attention, for trailing after it was the press of shadow. Two presses of shadow, in fact, one soft, the other hard, both familiar.

She was out the door and dressed with a speed the thought she was too tired to posses. Her cloak rippled behind her as she flew down the hall – shed be damned if she lost them again – and into the dining hall.
A few heads turned as she entered the room, flowing between the tables, ducking to avoid lamps. She stopped before the bar and lay down a few bills.

“Three drinks” she demanded, pointing to her orders on the menu above the mixing bar. A moments – an icily rejected come on – later she was before the door. A wiggle of the handle showed it was unlocked, and with a tap, and a call of, “Server!” she entered.

Its really them. Pretty boy and…oh….look at that, another ginger. He has good taste in women.

The two were talking, an easy conversation she gleaned from the smiles and laughs. Abandoning stealth – as they no doubt sensed her the moment she ventured near - she entered the room.

“A date. Considering how you handle women, I’m surprised,”

She remarked, her eyes flitting between them, “Perhaps you’re more charming than impression…or perhaps not because this is possible the worst place for a date I can think of.”

With a flourish she set three glasses of champagne of he table, and took her seat.

“A toast, to our meeting.” She inclined her glass as she pulled up a chair and sat, “I think it’s well deserved considering you have the irritating habit of vanishing the moment I find you.”

She took a sip of her drink and smiled.

“I would introduce myself, but licorice here already knows my name,” Her forest green eyes locked with his steel grey, “Curious considering that we’ve never met before and I’ve never mentioned my name.”

Her brow raised in silent inquiry.

The Hostess, ruffled and with two guards, bustled into the room Before Krona could get too many words out. "I'm so sorry, Omen. She came blasting in here without a word to any of the staff and barged into your private room," she gushed as she glared at Krona. "I will have her removed at once." Nodding to the two guards, they advanced on Krona, picking her up under the arms and dragging her out. "So sorry about that," the Hostess said. "Though, how did she get a chair in here? No one saw her take one from the floor and this room started with two," she mused further, taking the unexpected chair with her.

The guards tossed Krona out on her a**. "The owner has stated you will be getting no service from this establishment. If you're found on the grounds again, you will be charged and brought before The Elemental Guardian." The stood in her way, blocking the path back into the Inn.

Farah found that it took all the manners forcibly placed into her skull during childhood to prevent her from diving upon the feast placed before them. She almost cheered when she heard Kinetav dismiss the server after what had felt like an eternity. She smiled beatifically at Kinetav as he voiced her inner feelings about the days events, her whole face lighting up. Then grabbing a plate she put a little bit of everything on it to try. Sitting back and reclining with her plate of treasure securely upon her lap Farah popped a small bite of a white flaky seafood into her mouth. She chewed... and found heaven. With what must have been a riddiculously happy and shocked look on her face she grinned at Kinetav before trying more of the delicious fare. With every bite she felt sure that there would be something less appealing to her tastes and yet each nibble exceeded her previous expectations.

Finally Farah popped a small concoction into her mouth consisting of shellfish, with seasonings and encased in rice. It was so incredibly delicious that she closed her eyes and let out a very quiet moan of appreciation. Who knew that food could taste this amazing? She felt quite confident that she could live the rest of her life in happiness if only she could eat this food often. Pierce was grumbling in her ear about the unfairness of him being unable to eat food, but she tuned him out, in favour of savouring her new favourite food.

She finally snapped out of her food coma when a commotion proceeded a large woman with... what appeared to be wings into the room. She sat upon a chair that had appeared and had three drinks with her. Farah barely contained her urge to squeak and grab Pierce.

Farah's brow furrowed in confusion as she tried to decipher what was happening. This woman did not introduce herself but seemed to be hinting that she knew of Kinetav... and his dating habits. Farah was too confused to even contemplate toasting the stranger and simply sat there stunned quietly as the woman locked gazes with Kinetav.

Then there was yet another commotion as the hostess and two monstrously muscled guards bustled into their small room. "Honestly if more people join us we will need a bigger room for all your friends princess" quipped Pierce. The guards took the large woman from the room as the hostess began gushing apologies and taking the chair with her, she was the last to leave the room.

After a moment of stunned silence Farah grinned and couldn't contain a giggle. A moment later she found it hard to breathe as she couldn't stop giggling, it was a most unusual reaction for her, but it felt so good to laugh. She thought maybe her mind had broken under all the confusion and yet couldnt bring herself to care. Finally calming her laughter to much quieter giggles she took a few sips of the delicious wine to sooth her throat. Still giggling she addressed Kinetav "Well, life is certainly never boring with you around is it! One may perish from confusion but one will certainly never fail to have entertainment. All hail the high knight of the Devil's eye, Most popular and sought out man in the land!" giggling again she toasted him. Despite all the crazy drama and interruptions this had still been the best day of her life and for some puzzling reason she couldn't bring herself to feel upset about anything.

Smiling at Kinetav she scooted forward in her chair and gestured for him to lean in as well. Holding her favourite seafood conconction lightly between two fingers she held it toward his face and spoke. "This one is by far the best food I have ever eaten, you've got to try it!"

”From the Shadow, we crawled out….”

The food into which Kinetav delved brought heightened tastes along with it as the Anima had neither eaten that day nor eaten such delicacies in a long period of time; between each bite he glanced back up at Farah, his own grin increasing not from his own joy at the food but Farah's unspeakable joy. It had been nearly a decade since he last relished the warmth and comfort of a casual dinner -- Call it what it is, brother. You know you desire to. -- casual date of this kind. Part of him longed for it to never end, his life consumed by leisure and his mind consumed by spirited talk with the blushing Anima in front of him. Yet another part longed for the conflict of battle, relishing the heat of the desert and the sounds of clashing weaponry. As usual the Anima settled on the spur of the moment, Farah's grin restoring his mood to take this upcoming night slowly and with celebration between two similar people with strangely different upbringings having met together on Rykros.

He began to feel wonderfully light headed as he poured a second glass of the white wine for himself, taking another sip and just idly grinning ear to ear. A sudden feeling reached the Omen, not bothering him all that much as it was distant and it was Krona's. Without a doubt she had somehow made it into the hotel and was nearby, but the feeling did not grow stronger...at first. Kinetav had resolved to talk to her some other time, not desiring at all to interrupt the date as he continued to eat politely. His body began to tense as he felt the gradual increasing press of the shadow, soon strong enough to be felt but a few feet away and then he heard a knock; with Krona acting as a server which caused neither of the Animae to be deceived, the Fallen burst through the door.

Krona's very first words caused a silence through the room and the Omen to stare at her in disbelief at her audacity; the fact that she burst into a room in which a date, as she acknowledged it to be, and act so casually without signs of remorse or apology caused him to be unable to think of a proper response as he never saw such acts coming in the first place. Furthermore, the insults to him caused his blood to boil and his mind to just blank as the Fallen pulled up a random third chair and set down her drinks on their table. Kinetav made no motion for his glass or reaction at all to the flitting of Krona's eyes nor her inclination of her glass, his own eyes darting back and forth between the two women to gauge Farah's reaction. His eyes widened in shock as she called him licorice and put the final nail into her coffin as she fell into silence and the silence permeated the room.

Perhaps her mind was fractured into segments when she somehow changed. I don't know anymore, brother. Her aura is clearly the same colors, yet perhaps we have made an error in our judgment as to the feel of her soul. But if she is not Krona, that would mean that a... Total stranger has invaded your date. Yes. Just when he felt that he could think of no possible response to the situation, the waitress and a pair of guards walked forward with ruffled tension before hauling Krona out. The Omen, still very confused, didn't speak a single word as he felt her presence fade back to a dim silence.

His head slowly turned back to Farah, rather worried at her limitless potential for reactions to this particular situation. Her most unusual reaction was his greatest relief, the entire issue of Krona that he'd have to deal with later receding into the very depths of his memory as he began to laugh with her; her toast to him delighted him as it was a sign of her complete relaxation, toasting her back just as eagerly. "Well, to the excitement of life then and to you never being bored," he said with a grin on his face and a sip of the wine fresh on his tongue before setting the glass back down. At least you have an extra drink each, lovebirds *snicker*.

At Farah's beckoning the Omen leaned in as if it was by second nature, entirely at ease and comfort once more which was already such a rare treat for him; even more rare was her comfort around him as she held out the only dish that he had yet to taste, moving forward and biting the piece which she lightly held out from between her fingers. "Absolutely amazing," he said as he chewed it around, "nicely flavored yet with only a soft touch..." Closing his eyes in bliss, in as much from the taste of the food as well as the presence of the company in front of him, he tilted his head slightly and looked at Farah with amazement on his face as he mused, "It is a time like this where, for a change, I find myself bewildered...to have found such a beautiful time like this in an otherwise chaotic day is simply indescribable. I have so many questions, so many things to say but something tells me, and at least I hope, that we will have plenty more time to ask and say everything we desire. It would be my ultimate honor to show you around and help you get settled into Rykros. What kind of setting are you used to?" He smiled kindly at her, enthralled in the moments and eager to hear her response.

”….and to the Shadow, we will return.”

Farah managed to stop giggling as Kinetav toasted her sweetly. She blushed deeply at the lovely complimented and his offer to acompany her around this new world. She was feeling slightly light headed and very relaxed so she only frowned slightly at his final question.

She took a moment to think of how best to answer him, wanting to tell him more of her horrible life before she had escaped to this new heaven. Yet she thought it would break something in her if he were to judge her or think less of her now. She bit her bottom lip and worried it between her teeth for a moment before sighing and smiling once more. " The land I was formerly accustomed to was a polluted, overpopulated cesspool. I assure you that any nation on this planet will be a vast improvement. However I do enjoy nature, swimming and sunshine." She sank back into her relaxed posture and took another sip of the delicious wine.

She felt amazing, here she was enjoying some time with a nice man, eating fantastic food and drinking delicious wine. She was no longer a prisoner and no longer on a planet that despised her existence. She wanted to purr she felt so happy and comfortable. It occured to her that perhaps she was intoxicated but she simply giggled at the thought. Cuddling back into her chair she smiled sleepily and happily at Kinetav, secretly thanking the void for sending her on this particular quest. She managed to resist the urge she felt to purr and fall asleep in her chair.

The Hostess returned with two waitresses, one baring a platter with various treats and the other started cleaning up the empty plates. "For desserts, we're presenting our 'Bounty of Ernya' sampler, featuring treats and sweets made from the various exotic fruits that can only be found in our nation." The waitress started setting plates down. "A dragonfruit ice cream over candied shimmer star, Fateful Fruit Salad, tickle tarts, and, one of our lady's favorites, Cream Dream pie." A bowl with shimmering star shaped slices topped in a bespeckled light pink ice cream, a creamy fruit salad of quite a few fresh fruits mixed with what had to be vanilla bean cream, a rosy colored tart, and a small pie of what seemed to be cream cheese and some of the dragonfruit and the rosy fruit from the tart made into a cheesecake. "I do warn you, you may want to head to your room afterwards. Our fruits are more than just amazingly exotic." Giving them a wink, the Hostess left with the waitresses.

Kinetav just sat back and returned the smile as he absently swirled around his glass and listened to Farah; her anxiety clear, her beauty growing more intoxicating as his own intoxication rose along with his desire to reassure her. "That sounds about right," the Omen said with a chuckle as he unconsciously relaxed into his own chair as Farah did, resting the back of his head on the contour of the cushion, "I hope that you will never have to worry about the past bothering you again. We've both been given this ability to restart, and nobody should hold our pasts against us." Every fiber of his mind fought back thoughts of his own past, of the armor still resting inside his home, of the planet that attempting to wipe him out without bloodying their own hands. In an attempt to further offset the thoughts of the past and focus on the present, a grin spread back across his face as he spoke, "Ah, but an improvement from crap can still be crap. Some nations are just better than others, with two above the rest. Ernya and the Devil's eye."

With that, a silence fell over him as he just sat back with his mind rather empty save for the wine glass in his hand, the feeling of his own sleepiness, and the sight of the Anima in front of him. The silence didn't feel uncomfortable to him for a change, both of them clearly sleepy and about ready for a peaceful rest. After he had locked eyes with Farah for a while in silent bliss, the Anima was about to reach for his keys when the door opened; it hadn't occurred to him that dessert might be served as well, his appetite being whet again by the abundance of food once again set before them. The final phrase spoken by the hostess as she left seemed absolutely silly to the Omen as he thought, Well of course they're not just amazing exotic. I bet it puts one to bed quickly after such an extravagant dessert.

Not realizing the irony of his thoughts, Kinetav grinned ear to ear, "Well, a little dessert before our rest sounds amazing to me." Reaching out for the tart as he recognized the ice cream to be a palate cleanser, he cut it in two and popped it into his mouth, immediately being sent into a sugary state of ecstasy. The taste was all but indescribable, the cake clearly a mixture of berries which all seemed to be infused into a single ultimate flavor; the warm molten chocolate inside of it left behind a warmth in his stomach that seemed to never go away, the heat even increasing slightly but not enough for the Omen to become alarmed or changed. All he noticed was that his focus on Farah deepened, all thoughts slowly beginning to fade more than usual from his mind other than just admiring her and enjoying her presence. In a mix of a rush of desire for her to be closer as well as returning the favor she gave him earlier of being fed, the Omen grasped the other half of the tart in his fingers and held it to her, "It's next to impossible to describe how delicious this is...you've got to try it. So warm and sugary."

”….and to the Shadow, we will return.”

To the Infinite Dark I scream
An Oath that no man or immortal may break
I am permanently condemned in the first place

The “non-condemned” often beg, often scream, often lie
As Justice or just pure emotions finally catch them
But I always know if I take a truly pure soul in the end

Claire had been walking for a while today, taking in the town and learning the various routes to different places. She had spent a bit of time out in the forest, and plucked a red rose passing a bush on the way back into town. She held the thorned flower in her left hand as she stopped in front of the inn. She held the rose under her nose, smiling softly in the light, the scent one of her favorite things in this day and age. Simplistic things worked for her. She decided she would get a room here for the time being, possibly a permanent one for when she was in town. She had a bit of money left from her coffers even though she had been banished from her estates. She moved inside and held the rose at her hip, the stem shooting out a little behind her hand, thorns quite healthy. She looked around the lobby as she entered and counted the number of mailboxes immediately to get a estimate of occupied rooms in the place, a margin of error for unused rooms and children of course.

Holy Rinaku

The person at the receptionist desk looked up. "Another new one?" she asked, shuffling through some papers. "Refugee or new enlistee?"

Farah felt warm and happy, she could feel a flush on her cheeks and she could see a similar flush on Kinetav's as well. She frowned as the strip of material she had used to put her hair up began pulling painfully. Thinking nothing about how comfortable she had quickly become with her fellow anima, she sat forward, then reached up and let her hair down, shaking it into its natural style. The unruly mass cascaded gently down her back to her hips as she tucked a loose strand behind her ear. Pulling the mass of it in front of her she sat back in her chair and simply enjoyed the moment. She quite enjoyed the way Kinetav's entire appearance changed with a simple smile. It was astounding, he instantly looked younger and far less imposing.

The waitress then swept back into the room with an astonishing amount of desserts. Having been hated by her father at birth Farah had only had a small amount of sweets in her life. The departing comment of the server gave Farah a moment's pause as it seemed she was implying something, but Farah couldn't concentrate as the scent of the desserts hit her nose. When the woman left Farah was struggling in an attempt to chose a treat to begin with.

When Kinetav spoke and held up half of a small tart for her to try she rewarded him with a brilliant smile, relieved at not having to chose from among these amazing treats. She scooted forward slowly, leaned in and gently ate the tart from between his fingers. As she began chewing her eyes widened before they closed in bliss. The light fruit flavour was amazing and not overwhelming, while the melted chocolate at the center sent a warm heat to her stomach and throughout her body. Opening her eyes again she realized how close she still was to Kinetav and blushing once more she moved slowly back into her seat, still savouring the dessert. When she finished she sipped her wine again, which complimented the treat perfectly. "Thank you Kinetav, you were right, it was simply amazing."

She resisted the urge to purr, feeling completely comfortable, safe and happy for the first time in her life. She felt like tonight she would be able to sleep deeply and well, free from the nightmares that used to haunt her nights. As she finished her small glass of wine she wondered when they would make their way to the rooms as she knew her body needed rest even if her brain was content to sit here like this for eternity.
