"Indeed, a pity that children must see as much as they do. To taint the childhood of those so young - a horror that those cats commit bringing them into this war." And for that he really would like little more than to see those cats suffer, or even better - die. "You cannot simply do nothing against those children, despite them being a child. You must either flee, fight them, or leave them tied up somewhere. There are no other options when dealing with them. They are still senshi and have been tainted by war - they will fight."
"They all believe we are evil, senshi and knights alike. And if they do not think that they think we have been poisoned, that we need to be saved. Their opinion of us is quite wrong, something I am sure I needn't go in to." They didn't have children fighting for them. They didn't bring children into a war and turn them into fighters and killers, fill the dreams of small children with war, fighting, and death - blood. No, the evil ones were those on the other side.
"You must face the fact that the other side will commit many sins and atrocities. Our job is to fight them and hopefully kill them or bring them to our side. There is no leaving them as they are - we cannot allow them to go on as they do. You will need to learn to fight..." He whispered though his voice was firm as he spoke.
"I can help you, if you wish it."

The more he spoke, the more she wanted to just go away now. This wasn't what she wanted. She wanted to be a part of a family who would help gather the energy needed to bring back the lost, to go home. But now it seemed inevitable. Death was a real thing. Children .. witnessing such things was a real thing. Both sides committed to brutally kill or be killed. Even children committed to this insanity. "I.. had enough of this at home," she mumbled. "Why does it happen here too.." The shaking wouldn't stop. She rested her arms on her knees and bent forward. Her dinner might be meeting the rooftop pretty soon. "I have to fight, don't I." Her tone lost all of its luster, whatever was left of it.

Seeing how badly this all was effecting the senshi he moved over to her. Slowly he brought his arms about her in something of an embrace. One gloved hand went to rub up and down her back in what he hoped was a soothing manner. "Yes, likely but perhaps there is another way. But it is all for a good cause - at least for us. And your side...when this is won your faction will return home - to your planets and beyond the mirror. I am not quite sure of it all but I do know you will return to some place nice." Or so he assumed from what little he knew on the matter.
"Your not a fighter...I can see that. Perhaps it is best if you keep away from the fighting as much as you can - take someone out with you when you go to gather energy." That way she didn't have to fight, someone else could. He didn't like the idea of someone like this being tossed into a fight, not when it had this effect on her with only the thought of it. Normally he'd suggest training but clearly fighting wasn't her thing and may never be so the suggestion wouldn't work, she needed to serve the cause in some other manner. Maybe she'd learn to fight, to be able to fight, maybe not.

'Back home' sounded nice. Home. It had a nice ring to it. Home was some huge asteroid named Aurora, a place she didn't remember at all. No matter how hard she tried she just couldn't conjure up any images of what her past life could be. It must've been nice. Anything would be nicer than her current home here. Anything."I s'ppose so," she said, defeated. Aurora wasn't sure of what to say or what to think right now. All she knew right now was that she was exhausted. But something told her that her conversation couldn't be over yet. Not by a longshot. "Uhm... I don't.. know many people... and I have a quota.." A self-imposed one, but it still was a quota she worked by.

"I will help you and I will speak with Remarque, he is one of your eternal senshi and very capable. I would trust him with my life." After the ambush and helping him, and seeing him with Bazzite attached to him, Benitoite was sure he could trust the blond eternal senshi. "I won't have any harm come to you if I can help it." And he wouldn't, he was protective of the newer members. He wanted them trained and not getting beaten up, too badly, by the other side of this war.
Rubbing her back he knew he'd have to contact jett tonight or tomorrow, ifhe could. This senshi wouldn't come to harm and he'd talk to Jett about this case. He didn't like that she wouldn't fight, and he figured jett might just feel the same, but you also couldn't throw someone in when they weren't ready for it - bad things happened then. She'd need to be eased into things, have a need to learn these things.

Aurora nodded. She had already spoken to Remarque and deemed him SUPER AWESOME, buuuut she didn't exactly convey the message that she was a horrible fighter to him. Or that she didn't know what she was doing. "Yeah, I met him. He is a pretty cool guy," the girl offered. She leaned forward and closed her eyes. At least, Benitoite was a pretty decent guy. Cute too. He had a nice touch that was really comforting. For a few seconds she forgot all about her troubles, and was back to picturing this guy with a multitude of other men in her life. "I've never heard anyone say that before," Aurora admitted, finally breaking out of her conflicting reveries of doom and glee. "That they'd protect me."

"Indeed, he is just that and more. I would call him a close friend." Any friend he would trust his life with was a close friend. He trusted Jett - Remarque - with his life as shown in that ambush on the senshi and their allies.
"There is always a first time for things, it would seem this is the first time to hear such a thing. You are on the same side in this war and you are new, and obviously you need help, for those reasons it would be a great disservice if I let any harm come to you when I could stop it. It would hurt you, possibly even kill you, and hurt our side. You might even be convinced to join the other side." Shaking his head as he continued to stroke her back gently.
"Perhaps, considering the weight of this evenings conversation, you'd like to find an alley to go into and we can power down. I'll treat you to dessert and coffee or tea - something to calm you. I'll walk you home if you wish even, make sure your alright." Had no one ever told her that they'd protect her? How could no one utter such words to her? His own mother had done it when he was very young, so had his father, during really bad storms when he got scared and came into his parents room. Why had she never heard such words?
He would certainly be seeking Jett out as soon as he could and talk to him, together they would help this new member of the war.

"Oh.. yeah... I'd like that," she murmured. "Uh, taking me home, some coffee and stuff." Was this a date? Even now with all of the doom and gloom around her, the idea had crossed her mind. Naw. He was just a nice guy wanting to treat her to some stuff and wanting to protect her as she walked back to her place. Wait, this had to be a date. Aurora flushed and nodded her assent again. You know, just in case he hadn't noticed the first time she said 'yes'. Oh gosh, this was a date. Her first date. With a Negaverse agent no less. "I'm ready, yeah. Whenever you are."

"Coffee or tea, which one is your preference?" He asked already moving to the edge of the buildings roof and looking down toward the alley way. He could make the jump with practiced ease, it wasn't that hard to make.
"Do you think you can make the jump down?" He asked looking back toward the pink haired senshi. "Also....for coffee and dessert, it won't be here." At Starbucks. "I have a coffee place I favor, the prices are better but more importantly the quality if far superior in my opinion." Starbucks in his opinion was bitter and just substandard. He didn't like the quality of their product, whether it was the beans or the machines they used he wasn't sure, it could even be how they did their grind and how much they used. No matter what it was lacking in quality.

Omigosh. Benitoite seemed so sophisticated! So adult! Coffee or tea? Maybe he was some rich playboy like Bruce Wayne and had a butler like Alfred that offered up coffee and tea whenever he desired it. The Negaverse boy sure talked like an adult too. This would be an amazing date. Er, if it was a date. Wait, wasn't she depressed just moments ago and he was just trying to comfort her? "Uhm, expresso? Something sugary. Honestly I really don't go to Starbucks or any coffee places. But I like sweet things." Aurora peered over the edge. "I can try!" But it was pretty high for her. "Maybe. Uh. That's pretty high."

Shaking his head at her unsureness he offered a hand. "I'll get us both down then. It'll be easier for you. I'd rather not risk you breaking a leg, or both." He added with a smile and a tilting of his head. Maybe someone should go around the city tossing mirrors all over the place, it would certainly help in cases like this. Place mirrors on roof tops all over the city and in alley ways and other places to help the Dark Mirrors.
"But you've had espresso? And if not coffee places what do you like?" He questioned, he hoped she'd like the fact the place he had in mind would have desserts.

"Ahahahaa, sorry. I'm just trying to sound like I know what I'm doing." Aurora. She had that tendency to blurt out the truth. It was one of her more.. endearing qualities. "Anyway, yeah, okay. Please carry me down like a prince, if you must." After all, this was a semi quasi date he was about to take her on, right?!?! "Iiiii haven't had espresso, no. I hear it's a real adult drink and something I'd like to try. But I loooove sweets. And sweet things. And ice cream and crepes and fruity things." She practically drooled at the thought of all of these delicious concoctions. So much for acting all ladylike in front of her quasi-date.

"It's alright. Why not try tea or coffee. Though tea might be the best. Espresso will likely keep you up all night, or a food portion of it. I doubt you want that." And yet he was going to down an espresso himself, and he knew he'd be up a while. He'd pay for it come morning when he went for a morning run and was dragging his feet...and when he got to school as well.
"I'm not carrying you, but I'll be taking you down there." And having taken her hand he did teleport them down to the alley way below. It was a quick thing, it could throw someone off if they weren't warned or were new to it. Not being so new to it he did manage to keep his balance when they landed on the ground below rather suddenly.
"Tea, maybe something flavored, and something sweet for you then. And I apologize if that landing was bad. You'll get used to it with time." As she might just wind up being teleported a lot, who knows what the future held. "Now I think we can safely power down." And they'd both get to see who they really were.

What.. WHAT... WHAAAAAT?!?!?! He could.. TELEPORT?! And here he was just continuing to talk like NO ONE'S BUSINESS. Like NOTHING STRANGELY MAGICAL happened. Holy cow this was incredibly amazing and could she teleport too when she got older and and and... Er, right. He was asking a question again. And saying that they should power down. Aurora cleared her throat and nodded dumbly. "Oh, that landing was.. fine. Tea's fine too. Right... Ahahahaha." Aurora's eyes roamed a bit, making sure that there wasn't anyone to see them. Toutatis-slash-Vythica had been smart enough to do this when they powered down in front of each other, and she was sure Benitoite was too. It just never hurt to look smart. The coast was clear. Aurora held on to her brooch and closed her eyes, letting the red aura drift away to reveal her Meadowview High outfit and long coat.. Not to mention her identity.

"It can be a bit odd at first...and by your reaction you weren't aware I could teleport." He said watching her carefully. "I apologize. It is rather normal for me at this point. It's something a Captain can do but can't take someone with the,. As a General I can do it easier and take someone else." As he'd just done. Yeah it was taxing but not like normal teleporting was when he was a Captain.
Watching as well, making sure things were clear, he kept his eyes on the alley's entrance. When he no longer felt the senshi he took the time to power down as well. he hadn't yet turned to see who his evenings companion really was. Back in his normal clothing, and a warm and long peacoat of black wool Alexandre Evans made quite the impressive figure - well maybe he did.
Finally though he turned to flash the...Esme?! a look. "Esme?" He questioned, staring in shock.
