With his arms extended from his missed punch, Brody didn't have the time or balance to counter Lauri's takedown. He was easily thrown off his feet and his torso crashed to the mat. In the moment it took him to realize what had happened, Brody instinctively covered his head with his arms and waited for the blows to rain down.
