"Goodbye Alexander."
Yin bent down and scooped up the other vaisel, turning to walk in the opposite direction. He did not move slowly though. There was too much working its way to the surface. The minipets were dropped off at his room, but he left immediately, too much energy, emotions coursing through him. A whirlwind that was more negative than positive, though bits of maybe also present.
He took a long way to the gymnasium, walking by the Nurse's Office, not stopping or even pausing, just needed to look at the door, remind himself. Whatever happened...he had family now.
He stayed in the gymnasium for a long time. Not seeking out a spar, not focusing on anyone but the dummies in front of him. And when he broke one, he moved on to the next, not stopping until the Fear shield around his fists and feet buckled ominously, flickering in a way that told him he had pushed himself too far, muscles burning as he gasped for air. He forced himself to keep moving though, walking back to his room, keeping his muscles warm and loose so they did not cramp up too badly.
Everything was going to be okay.
