Sensing that there was no way that she could ignore Milo, Xiu settled for sitting crosslegged on the ground, keeping the bag of treats out for easy access. "You're precious, Milo, but not too many treats, okay?" And then she shook out another one to reward the foxfire for his cute begging act.
She was such a pushover.
She glanced over to smile at Shun, shaking her head as a way to dismiss his thanks. When her gaze fell on Mitsu running a hand through her short hair, her expression softened. Turning back to pat Milo, she chirped up with a cheerful, "I thought I'd share the pictures because you guys looked great, but considering how Mitsu is always pretty and aniki is always cool...I think you guys would look wonderful even if I took a picture of the two of you right now, dressed up all fancily or not."
Grinning, Xiu shook her head at the offer of a mooncake. "To be honest, I've made so many, I have no idea how I'm going to get rid of them all. But you two go ahead and let me know what you think!" She then chuckled, her tail swishing back and forth, "Yup, settled back in just fine. It's nice to be living in the dorms again."

"You're certainly right about Mitsu always being pretty, but I'm not so sure about me being cool," Shun blinked. He didn't really pay attention to that so much. However, turning back to his lycan, he noticed that she was frowning while touching her own hair. He knew that she wasn't happy with her current appearance.
Sometimes he wondered if he should offer to shave his head if it'd make her feel better.
Even though he didn't want to have to do that.
Shaking his head to himself, he took a mooncake and broke it in half. He went ahead and offered the other half to Mitsu. Maybe it could help distract her from her hair at the moment. Taking a bite, he soon nodded to the Baku in approval.
"Excellent work as usual, Xiu," he complimented, then nodded, "That's good to hear."

As soon as Xiu sat down it was all over. Milo welcomed himself into her lap, munching away at the second treat before he laid down across her legs to get comfy. He then immediately rolled over onto his back for belly rubs. Yes, this was the life.
Her attention came back around when Xiu mentioned something about her always being pretty and taking a picture of them now. Shaking her head she took a step behind Shun peeking out around his shoulder. She really didn't want her picture taken at the moment. Not with the way she looked right now.
She stood there for a moment feeling awkward until Shun passed her half of a mooncake. Taking it slowly Mitsu looked at the treat in her hands for a moment before she finally began to nibble at it. As always the things Xiu made were really good but somehow it didn't calm the storm of anxiety.

Well played, Milo, well played. Xiu smiled wryly as she stared down at the foxfire who had suddenly set himself in her lap, but she obediently proceeded to rub his belly as he so clearly desired, looking amused. He obviously knew how to get what he wanted...and the baku was never one to resist a cute mini.
She grinned at Shun's reaction to the mooncakes, clearly pleased if one were to judge by the way her tail started swishing behind her. "I'm glad! So long as you guys like it, then it was definitely worth the time to make." Though speaking of making things...
The baku suddenly perked up, her lips spreading into a frown. "...Shoot. Speaking of mooncakes...a-ahaha, I...I forgot to make some to send home." Xiu had made a batch for her friends here at Amity and for her uncle, but she had somehow forgotten her parents. Grimacing, she offered Milo a quiet apology before picking him off her lap, cuddling her cheek against the mini's fluffy fur before setting him down and pushing herself up to her feet.
"I should probably get going now." She did what she came here to do already anyways, which was spend a little time checking up on the pair and delivering what she had brought for them. Looking sheepish, she started towards the door, only to pause and turn around. Walking up to Shun, she suddenly grabbed his free hand and set the bag of minipet treats in the palm of his hand. "A bonus gift before I go, for Milo."
She considered giving Mitsu a hug, but was more than a little concerned that the action would only prove to startle the ghoul. I the end, she settled for a warm smile, lifting a hand to wave. "Please take care of yourselves, okay?"
Moving to the door, she gave one last little wave before slipping out.
