It probably wasn't a good idea to get involved.
Rep had been responsible for like, a lot of unconcious bodies lately and it was way too easy to get caught out for being an accessory to murder. But it was Cass. Cass, one of the few women who stood up for him and actually seemed willing to hear him out on his rants, one of the people who despite his best attempts to provoke her, turned the other cheek every time. Something had to have gone ******** terribly wrong for her to be asking for help with a body on twitter.
After his initial reply, he ran, flat out bolted through the corridors towards a possibly incriminating crime scene. But he didn't care. He knew what it was like to stand over a mistake and see the consequences on the horizon. He couldn't afford to lose a battlefield buddy over it either, like Harrison had said earlier, there weren't many of them.
His boots skidded on the floor as he careened into the cafeteria, coming to a halt as he took in the scene, his lips setting in a grim line.
"What do you need help with?" he said cooly. "Can she be moved?"

"Not with an extra elbow, she can't," Harrison looked over the mess that used to be somebody's wife, and took out his bandaid tin like a nervous man reaching for a pack of cigarettes. He shook a charged bandaid out, then knelt beside Petra- it was slick, and blood was getting all over his good pair of kicks. He searched her for a clear-looking patch of skin, something not mangled. Her calf. Her calf was okay. He unstuck the bandage and applied it carefully, hoping it would boost her healing and shield some. The rest, he didn't know. His hands hovered back over her, uncertain. Instincts said he should stop the bleeding, but he couldn't tell where it was coming from, and if her insides were all screwed up, s**t. "Don't worry, they...fixed worse before." he put away his bandaids, and got out his phone to text Sunny. lizbot hunter dying in cafeteria needs med team + stretcher

Splint? s**t s**t s**t, she didn't know first aid like at all! How did one do splinting and slksdf;laskdfj;asldkfahsd;flkasdf. She should have paid attention when Marcus was trying to teach her this stuff!! She'd told him she wasn't much of a healer and fffff. She was actually making a high pitched noise as she fell into a complete and total panic. She'd made her rushed OH GOD HELPHELPHELP requests to the core group called 'Not strangers' and now? dfslkjdlfksadjf;l.
Try to make sure Petra didn't ******** die. Because ******** WERE GOING TO THE LIFE LABS.
ROBERT WAS GOING TO BE THERE.
ROBERT WOULD POISON HER FOR TWO SECONDS AND THEN SMASH HER FACE ******** ******** FUKc;ldsjfkhf;asdlfkjdsfhas;lk!!!
Rep would find Cass actually Hyperventilating when he got there as she confirmed for the twelfth time that Petra still had a pulse. She even made a good effort to retrieve that pentagram and ..uhh... shoot..where should she... POCKET. She'd shove Cain into Petra's pocket. Because she didn't want to move her at all. She was afraid if she did anything Petra would just...fall apart and Robert would murder her and then she'd be in her burial pod forever.
"I donnn''ttt knoooooowwwww." she half-wept. Cass. Cool as a cucumber. Weeping in panic. Miss 'Hi, a Tentacle thing tried to kill me and I'm chill with it' and 'Hi, tentacle thing take 2 tried to kill me, everything is fine' was at that point where her brain shut off. Hi, what is brain? It was completely and totally shut off. And fff, Harrison was there to have a brain too. Thank god there were more capable people than her around.
This was why she wasn't a moon, people. At least not a real one.

Cass didn't send people to the infirmary. That was Marcus's track record. The fact she mentioned bleeding from the mouth, a broken arm- those were not marks of a spar. Much less, the cafeteria was not a place where fights broke out. He'd been on duty when his phone had gone off with twitter, and at the pods with another, they killed time with phones. Paling as he read what was going on a quick relay to the other on duty, he was off.
It was not a long run, but when he arrived, he noticed a few things. One, Rep and Harrison were there, two, Cass was frantic, and Petra was- "Son of a b***h." He went to Petra first, looking over her wounds. She needed help, that or- "Cass, go to the kitchens and grab the medical kit on the far left wall. Bring it here. If you pass by any life or moons tell them we have a trainee in critical condition in the cafeteria and to go if they're trained. Rep, get to the infirmary and tell them what happened. Tell them we have a trainee with a broken arm and internal bleeding." Aside from what was obvious. A look over, he pulled off his scarf placing it over what looked to be the wound bleeding the worst. "We could try to carry her, but it'll be a risk depending on what is broken that we can't see. At the least we can splint her arm and slow the bleeding until a medic team arrives." This to Harrison.

Cass was sooooooooooooooooo not going to fight Marcus's instructions. Harrison and Marcus had the 'make sure Petra is not dead right here' thing under control, but man oh man oh man oh man.... She was getting skeevy looks as she popped back up to her feet and got moving. Kitchen, First Aid Kit, don't ******** up again.
Got it.
Maybe.
FFFFF.
She'd nearly killed Petra ;____;

Rep let Harrison deal with Petra for the time being, not sure what he could do and confident the other man would call him without hesitation if there was anything he could do. As it was he turned his attention where he felt it was actually useful, very much in control of himself despite the chaos of the situation.
It was like the cliff diving. You only really learned how to find the surface when everything around was chaos and confusion.
He was about to try and tend to Cass when Marcus marched in and started barking orders. Sending Cass out, that at least he didn't agree with. It was pretty clear something important had happened here and letting her out of sight wasn't exactly an advisable move.
"Ace." he grunted, catching the moon hunter's eye if he looked over. He inclined his head in Cass's direction, he was going after her. Without a word about his intention on defiance, he headed past Marcus and out of the room, following the mist hunter.
"Cass." he said softly as he caught up with her. "What happened?"

Harrison nodded to Rep, and turned his attention back to Petra.
"We shouldn't move her," Harrison growled, shifting uneasily, "if her back's hurt and we do it wrong, it could kill her. And I texted Sunny already."
But any extra help couldn't hurt. Marcus was stopping up the bleeding, which was good. The suggestion for a splint, well. If they were on the battlefield and needed to get out of there, sure. But with help a few floors away.
"Doesn't need a splint unless we're carrying her, which we ******** aren't," he said, checking his phone again, and then the door. B0nez was summoned, both blades tucked into his sash, in case the body was a product of something besides not-enough-vacation-time stress.
"...You know who it is?" he asked Marcus.

Cass almost did a half improvised almost-panicked-waltz-step away from Rep, giving him a wide eyed look before she half slumped her shoulders, rubbing her arm against the side of the other one, then glancing back into the kitchen with a sort of beaten puppy look on her face.
For a moment, she seemed to debate giving him an answer, looking at Rep, then back towards where everybody was watching after Petra, then back to the sun trainee's face before she sighed again with obvious shame.
"I lost my s**t, Rep. That's what happened." she answered bluntly. Not a very informative answer, but...

Rep paused in his tracks in about as non threatening a way as he could, nothing at all hostile or accusing about his expression or posture. If anything he looked curious more than anything else.
Anyone else might have freaked out at her, asked her what the hell she'd been thinking attacking a fellow hunter, warned her of the consequences. Not Rep. He simply frowned deeply, actually carefully resting a hand on her shoulder if she let him.
"Ah see. Well, we all ******** up. Not the end of the world, I'm living proof." His tone was as light as he could make it, sympathetic despite the dire situation. He didn't really need to know a great deal more other than what she'd told him, not right now anyway, if there was more to it it'd come out in the fullness of time. "She'll be awright, lets go get that medikit and get it sorted out."

As promised, Rin rounded the corner and flew through the cafeteria doors with a med kit and a tin of bandages. It was easy to tell which hunter was down and out. Rin rushed over and after kneeling down attempted to slap a bandage on Petra. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to want to stick. At all. Much to Rin's dismay. She knew others were coming. But she wasn't certain how else to attempt to stabilize the huntress in the meantime.
She looked up at the others with just the saddest most helpless stare. She was no help.

She probably had 'guiltguiltguiltguiltguilt' written all over her face with a permanent marker anyways, a frown right across her face as she nodded weakly, shoulders slumping a bit under Rep's hand. She actually could really use people not freaking out at her until Petra was at least.... not dying on the Cafeteria floor. After that? Free game.
Robert got first swing.
"I hope so..." she murmured, looking with concern towards Petra and the boys again before tucking her hair behind her ear and turning back towards the kitchen. Medkitmedkitmedkit. This wouldn't be like in DOOM where everything just...was better because of Medkit, though.
"I just...s**t..what do I say to her when she wakes up? I didn't just like crack her shield or anything...I just.." she scratched the side of her head and sighed and she continued towards the kitchen.

Rep followed towards the kitchen, feeling oddly zen. Common sense said he should be pissed, he liked Petra, she'd been good to him in the jungle. But he couldn't really get mad at people close to him, even when it was warranted. Besides, he'd be a damn hypocrite, he lost it all the ******** time, it was what had gotten him cuffed.
"You just apologise man. You say sorry, you explain why you did it, what pushed you to it, you let her understand. And right ******** now, the main thing is you don't worry about that s**t too hard. Best thing you can do for her is keep your cool."
As soon as they had the medkit in their possession - he was likewise unenthused by the difference it would potentially make - he added reassuingly. "You'd be amazed what people will forgive if you are honest enough, right?"

The stretcher arrived quietly, followed by several Life and Moon hunters who swiftly moved toward the fallen huntress. Clarice entered the scene with a frown as she looked around, "Where's Cassandra?"
A petite brunette shooed the other's away from Petra with a comforting, "******** off and let us do our jobs, you know the training courts are by the infirmary for a ******** reason, oh a Deathie well isn't that just ******** typical. Well trust me this is going to hurt you a lot more than it's going to hurt me..."
Apparently Sunny was feeling chatty today.

Miss Passive was getting life survival advice from Rep-the-Destroyer. Would he be pushing an enormous wheel after this? Okay, bad time for movie references in her head, clearly. Stop stop.
"I..guess that's all I can do." she agreed quietly as she pulled the medkit off the wall, trying to not stir up any trouble in the kitchen (and making sure nobody pointed a frying pain in Rep's direction, somehow she imagined some bad s**t like 'Why don't you let a woman handle that for you' might happen if that happened) as she made massive apologies for needing to take it and trying to not sigh too much.
Sighing would just end up giving her the hiccups and that would be hilariously annoying for everybody. "Guess that's also true. Can only hope she'll forgive me and if she doesn't, that's what I earned for turning into a ball of psycho."

Rin got the ******** out of the way as soon as she saw backup. She didn't need told and especially not told twice. She shuffled to stand at Rep's side with her pitiful little med kit clutched tightly to her chest. One day she should only hope to be as glorious and useful as those guys.
