Nodding quietly, Shun paused as he stepped into the bookstore. Audio books.. Audio books. Where would these be in such a place? He didn't typically visit bookstores for obvious reasons.
"It seemed that had been a bad time for Mot. Or something along those lines."
He had his own issues with the boy in the past. Though, as with Hel, things were mended somewhat more recently.

Hel started to look around the book store as well once they entered, though she did look terribly uninterested. Books really just weren’t her thing…but she was helping out a friend, so she’d try. Regardless, the ghoul just started to wander, looking for anything that said ‘audiobooks’.
“Ya…” Hel mused, distracted. “…I do not know, Shun…I think…right now is still a bad time for him. He is…” Hel paused, not sure how to phrase it. “…Lost I think. Lost and tired of everything.” Her brows furrowed. “I do not…understand how someone can be like that.”

Shun wasn't even completely certain how an audiobook may be packaged, but he was looking out for CDs. It shouldn't be too hard to pinpoint. When Hel answered him, he glanced back to her, furrowing his brow. Lost? And tired?
"Lost... I can to some degree understand that much. I felt.. lost when I thought Mitsu might be gone for good. Perhaps he had lost something important to him."
Though what that would be, he had no clue. Did Mot not feel whole? It was hard to say.

The ghoul glanced back at him, thoughtful. “Lost something important to him…Maybe. He said…he does not know how to tackle problems anymore…that he is tired of trying…he does not know want he wants, or what makes him happy anymore. I think, as a friend, I can only help him so much…but these answers he is seeking…he needs to find them himself. I can not find them for him. I can not find his happiness for him, either. I can only continue to support him and pick him back up when he falls.” The ghoul sighed, but she came to a sudden halt in front of a huge wall of audiobooks and then pointed at them excitedly.
“Here Shun, here!” She cried, and immediately turned towards them, starting to look over all the titles.

Silent for some time as Hel explained things a little more, Shun nodded once again.
"He lost himself then. As you said though, that is likely something only he can do on his own," he stated. When Hel got excited, he turned to see what she was pointing at. Ah yes, there they go.
Now to pick one.
Furrowing his brow, he grabbed something at random to look at the cover. There was that saying to not judge books by their covers.. but quite frankly he didn't really have much else to go off of to have an idea of what it might be about.
"Mitsu enjoys more fantastical stories of fiction," he said, hoping Hel could aid him here. He was going to be listening to the story too so he really hoped he didn't end up picking some trash.

“Ya…lost himself.” That seemed…pretty grim, and as much as Hel wanted to try and fix the problem…she couldn’t. She knew she couldn’t. That wasn’t her battle to fight. It was Mot’s…and he was doing piss poor at it right now.
Oh well.
Do what one could, and life went on.
Hel turned her attention back to the wide selection of audio books, her lips twisting as she started to look over various boxes. She really had no interest in reading summaries…but the pictures on the box weren’t very convincing either. “Got ya…” Hel hummed a bit as she looked through the audio books and paused, pulling one off that had a lot of medals on it. She turned it over and looked at it. “…Huh…so…what about this one? It has a lot of recommendations by different societies…and apparently it is about some kind of bracelet…the one bracelet to rule them all…a fellowship goes on an extraordinary journey and faces perilous challenges in order to vanquish their enemy once and for all…!” Hel’s voice got animated as she summarized the story from the brief description.

Looking over a few of the covers, Shun took the one Hel had pointed out, listening to what the story was about.
"Interesting," he said before pausing, "Wasn't there a movie for this?"
He could have sworn he had heard of something along those lines. He knew a little more about movies than he did with books.

Hel shrugged, holding out the box to Shun incase he wanted it. “I dunno. I can count the number of movies I have seen on one hand, and it is only because others have been involved.” In other words, Hel didn’t really pay attention to that kind of stuff.
“Think Mitsu has seen them?”

"I'm... not sure. We hadn't seen it together I can say that much. I suppose it is possible she had seen it prior to meeting me, however. Or had watched it on her own at some point," Shun said while looking over the cd case.
"It couldn't hurt much though, even if she had. Unless she ended up despising the story."

The ghoul nodded her head, smiling. “I am certain she will enjoy it regardless, because you thought about it for her, and she will be spending time with you.” Because Mitsu was kind and sweet like that. “…Well…uh…it appears that it is a series…” Hel scratched her jaw, and pulled the other two audio books off of the self, looking them over and then waved them at Shun.
“…Did you want to get these now…or wait until after you go through that one first…?”

"I suppose," Shun said before raising an eyebrow and reaching out to take the other two books. Hm. That was a good question.
"I think I'll just stick to the one first. If it goes well, I'll grab the other two later."
That seemed pretty sound to him. Looking over the first, he nodded to himself, then went to put back the other two.
"This should do for now. Thank you," he said quietly before making his way to the counter to pay.

“Understood!” Hel replied, putting the two items back on the self. The ghoul nodded her head. “Not a problem, friend.” She then trailed after the grim, following him to the check out counter. “Neh, Shun?” She piped up again. “I know we talked about the future a bit once…but…do you have a more solid idea of what you will be doing after you graduate or…?”
She looked over at him, curious.

Once he paid for the book, Shun paused as Hel brought up the future once more. What his plans were and the like.
"That in part, depends on the Family. More likely than not, I'll be doing work one way or another for it. This likely means reaping, along with other.. things."

The ghoul nodded her head, rubbing her chin. Luckily for Shun, Hel didn’t judge his things statement. One did what they must to survive after all…and she was no saint. She was in no position to judge, especially if she wanted to pursue a career in Trick-Or-Treating. Once Shun was ready, the ghoul started to walk, falling into step with him.
“…How about…Mitsu? Any idea on what she wants to do…is she…going to stay with you in the future…?”

"She had ideas on either going into healing or working with minipets one way or another. She hadn't decided... and with the recent events, I do not know if she still wants either. But as far as I know, yes, she will be staying with me," Shun replied while making his way out of the store. He paused for just the moment once he walked out, to think if there was anything else he needed while he was out here. Nothing came to mind.
"Did you get everything you needed?"
