Tinker: *gives a little smile, as much as a small beak will allow* It will be, once I am finished. *his tail twitches rythmically as he thinks for a moment* Crystal probably wouldn't be in the ruins, but the mountains... *his feathers fluffed about his face as he thought* I know of a cavern that shoul have a rather nice selection. *the little hart half started as a thought came to mind. He looked up at La Sha, for once without a nervous twitch* Perhaps I could make something for you?

La Sha: "The mountains? A cave?" The thought of wandering through a dirty cave made her hesitate for a moment, but the thought of seeing those beautiful crystals was to tempting. After a moment of thought, she said, "Yes, I think I will go with you. I must see what these things look like in their natural splendor. But you need not make me anything if you do not wish. I would not want you to think that I am only interested for my own gain silly boy." She gave him a warm smile and a wink.

Tinker: *smiles, happy for the company. He's beginning to relax around La Sha, ya know, so long as they're focusing on his work instead of him. He thinks for a moment as she speaks* I think I will make something for you. A suprise. *the little owl hart gives a genuine smile, one that widens as the hind spoke the last of her words. He was rather sure that most only liked him because of the things he made and who could blame them? Even someone as humble as Tinker knew that his goods were valuable, and he and the bear traders had shared quite a few conversations over them. The little hart tok a breath* Well, lets go then! *with a flap of the wings he bounced to his feet, standing like a proper herla, instead of upright like a Mion* The caves aren't too far from here, and they've got some of the largest crystals I've seen in the area!

La Sha: *Following but a step behind the younger herla, trying to walk with her normal grace and beauty while still keeping up with the faster pace of the youth. Thoughts of crystals occupied her mind. The value of them never really occurred to her, instead she wondered how the light might shine on them.* Do we need tools of some form to harvest these crystal? I wouldn't want to arrive unprepared. *She mused, as they walked. Looking over her young companion, she began to take a better accounting of his appearance. Not a normal herla by any means, but not unappealing in his own way. He was an exotic youth, and that was the best kind. Perhaps she should spend some time with the boy. It was hard to be different, even when different was better. No doubt he could use a friend*

Tinker: I've got all the tools we need, at least for this. *the little hart paused a moment, his head going directly into his bag, rummaging around as one might rummage about in a purse. It was far easier than taking the bag off, and digging through it with his hands, at least. Another moment and he had a small hammer, a stone grasped in carved bone of some sort, he held it out to show for a moment before slipping the item back into his bag* Hammer, and chisel should do rightly, and if we need more tools we can always go to my workshop. *he smiled, delighted with the direction his day had turned. He hadn't had this much fun in quite a while..*

La Sha: *She considered the crude hammer for a moment, looking at both the eloquence and simplicity of it's design, and wonder if he had perhaps made it himself.* Where do you get your tools? I think I may insist on seeing this wonderous work shop of yours. The treasures it must hold! *She saw the youth begin to relax more as they walked and talked, no doubt coming to grips with her beauty while his mind focused on his craft. What an odd youth he was. It seemed strange to her that he had so much passion for his work, but seemed almost scared of the opposite sex.*

Tinker:I got my first few tools from the bears, but I've made quite a few of my own now. *he paused for a moment as La Sha spoke, when another bright grin broke upon his face* We should! *he seemed delighted with the idea of showing another his workshop, until another idea struck him even better. The little hart could hardly contain himself* I know!! We'll go to the caves to find the crystal, and then we can take it back to the workshop, and I can show you how to make whatever you'd like to make out of it! *again, the childlike delight shone on his face, bright and unabashed*

La Sha: *Watched with a smile as the little herla grew so excited, deciding that he must not have much social experience. He more then made up for it with youthful energy though.* You will have to help me though. I have never made such things before I am afraid. I fear I may not have much skill in it. But it shall be fun to try, no? *She gave him a wink to accompany her smile as she said the last word.*

Tinker: *the little hart's feathers fluffed and subsided with excitement, his wings ever fidgeting while his tail twitched about in an almost catlike manner* Oh, you'll do fine! It's not so hard when you know the tricks. *Today was a good day. Even better than when he'd finally finished the ornamental breast plate for the bear trader. He had gotten quite a nice heap of furs in return, even a couple of ghavial hides. It wasn't often that the little hart met a nice herla like La Sha. Most were simply.. well Intimidating. It wasn't anything to be said against the other herla, but many times Tinker couldn't help but look at the others, and send himself into such a nervous tizzy that he simply turned around and went home. The bears, oddly enough, he wasn't quite as afraid of, but they knew and respected him for his work. He hadn't had the guts to show most of his work to the herla yet at all...*

La Sha: *She listened to his words, still think of what they might make with the materials they were to find.* Tricks you say? Will you share your tricks with me? You have me quite intrigued. Where did you learn how to do all of this anyway? *The youth must have been around the area for a while now, judging from the fact that he had made himself a shop, so how was it that she had never seen him before? Did he secret himself away all the time perhaps? While she did like his work, the thought of him spending all of his time alone did not sit well with her.*

Tinker: *the little hart gave a giggle* Of course I'll show them to you! I can even teach them to you, if you like. *he thought a moment at her next question, shrugging* I don't now, I guess.. Ever since I was little I've had fun making things. Little forts out of twigs eventaully turned into collars, bangles, and just about anything else I can plan out. I learned alot of my more advanced things from the bears, and they still give me work from time to time. *he lifted a claw, wiggling them* My little claws are much more dextrous than theirs, so they give me small, and heavy detailed things, that sort of stuff. Most of the things I make now I still bring to the bears once or twice a year, if I can't get rid of them.

La Sha: I find it hard to imagine that you would have any trouble finding homes for your works! What you have shown me has been most magnificent. Do you show them around town? Surely the young ladies would love to be adorned with your wares. *In her mind, La Sha was already thinking of what pieces from his bag would best compliment each of the women she new from the area. There was little doubt in her mind that they would all be smashing success*

I'm sure they'd like the things I make, I just.. well I don't talk to many other herla.. I'm not so good at talking.. I've made a few things for my sister Addie before, but she doesn't count...

La Sha: *Considers this for a moment while, watching her new friend begin to grow fidgetty.* Well, we could work together? You can make the lovely things, and I can help you show them off. Then you do not need to be nervous, since I will be by your side the entire time, yes? *While helping him sell his craft was certainly one reason for her offer, she also hoped that perhaps, with her by his side, she might be able to help him interact with others more. No doubt it would do him some good.*
