Growling Kadryn stood up, ready to get serious in this battle... And there was the branch that she'd encountered before. You'd think she'd remember what hit her in the first place, but the poor thing didn't. Kadryn sat down on the ground again as she rubbed her head. No way to attack from this position she thought, Eanah has probably spotted me by now.
Deciding that standing up was a bad idea, she crawled off through the underbrush to seek a new place to attack from.

As Kadryn was slithering along the ground, a paint bomb hit the ground right behind her. I knew it was a bad idea to stand up, good thing I ended up crawling, she thought. Grabbing a bag herself, she threw it from her awkward position on the ground at Eanah just as the other girl dodged behind a bush. Kadryn grinned. At least we both can't hit each other.. Getting cautiously to her feet, Kadryn ducked and weaved half bent until she too was crouched behind a bush. She prepared another paint bag to throw as she waited for Eanah to make the next move.

What was wildly different about this attack was what she did when it was done. The girl scampered away, deliberately hiding in a shallow hole behind a tree and dragging some leaves over herself to mask her conspicuousness. It was her first clunky attempt at actual defense. Would she do it again? As Kadryn was crawling away into the undergrowth she saw a bag go flying way over her head followed by a dark figure ... vanishing into the ground? What the..? Crawling carefully and quietly towards spot where she'd seen Eanah vanish, Kadryn saw that she hadn't poof-ed into thin air. Eanah had attempted to bury herself into the ground. Nice idea, but that means you're a sitting target! Kadryn grinned as she palmed a bag and launched it towards the half hidden Eanah. But she threw it with a bit too much force, it hit the tree right behind Eanah and exploded,
Buggers... Kadryn began crawling to the side t find a better spot to attack from.

As Kadryn crawled away, she heard Eanah call her name out in a voice the loudest that Kadryn had ever heard from her. Worried that Eanah had hurt herself or spotted a dragon, Kadryn popped her head out of the bushes to see if she was ok. And got a face full of purple paint for her efforts.
Kadryn laughed aloud at her stupidity, What kind of idiot was she to check on an opponent in such an obvious and defenseless way! Smiling to herself and tasting the black berries that the paint was made of, she quickly threw her own bag; more to give herself time to dive behind a tree and climb it than to hit Eanah.

Kadryn was once again in the trees, though this time she made sure she was on a sturdy branch that wouldn't suddenly break. Wiping some of the purple paint away from her eyes, Kadryn lobbed a bag of bright pink paint down at the scurrying Oblivionite. A grin flashed across her face as the bomb found its mark.
Not as impressive as her face shot, but it'll do, Kadryn thought to herself.

Kadryn started to dodge as the paint bag left Eanah's hand, only to start slipping off her branch. She ended up dropping her own bag uselessly to the ground below as her caught herself. Luckily Eanah hadn't thrown it hard enough to get near her. Grumbling she scooted further in the the tree, making sure to keep Eanah in sight.

As Kadryn peeked her head out to see where that sneaky Eanah was, she felt something wet explode on her stomach. Looking sown, she saw a bright red splash on her clothes... And a long stick withdrawing into the bushes below. Quickly dropping a bomb of blue paint, she leaped from her branch into the tree opposite her. Time to change positions.. this would be so much easier if I used my wings... but that's cheating.
