She looked up at the book higher on the shelf and absently pulled it down in a minty-colored swirl of light. If she was keeping track correctly that meant both of her books had been found.

... It felt a little bittersweet. She didn't want to leave.

His eyes locked on her own made her uncomfortable, but in a flushed and exhilarating way. She eyed the bookshelves (instead) thoughtfully, but shook her head no in answer. "These would be best for now," she replied. Though it does give me an excuse to come back more and talk if I get less books then normal. The thought made her blush slightly as she followed him to the front desk.

She presented a library card from a saddle bag draped across her back and set it gently down. "My name is Hidden Hearts, by the way." It came out quickly and even though she was the most at ease she'd felt around another phony in a long time ... the anxiety of introducing herself to anyone that wasn't a client overwhelmed her words. It was present as a shake in her voice.
