12+0 = 12. Failure. Isamu || Katsu Lvl. 1 || HP: 10/10 || CP: 10/10 || MHP: 8/8 As it turned out, page four was just as boring as page three. Of course, why wouldn’t it be? It was the ‘style’ section, which was about as useful to a ten year old boy as a bottle of perfume. Then again, he had to read it; if anyone was going to hide anything, they would probably do it in the section no one was likely to read. No one really read the style section right? A ninja village wasn’t exactly a fashion paradise or anything. Hey! Slow down! I'm readin’ that. You want to read the style section? Course I do! That’s da more hilarious part of the entire paper! You ever listen to what these idiots think looks good? No. I'm a but busy trying to do important things. You’re no fun. Yuzuki could hear the student next to her shifting from one page to another. Is he really reading that fast? Or is he just scanning the articles like I am?" She started to chew on her lower lip, leaning so close to the newspaper that her nose was about to touch the page. Reading the paper seemed to be the only thing on the girl's mind at the moment, trying to decipher the article piece by piece.

She groan a little as the paper was slowly wearing away any patience she had left. She glanced over at the boy next to her, deciding to talk to him while working on her paper. "You have any better luck understanding this paper?" She gave a small smile, hoping a little friendly conversation would help them understand each other. She looked at paper she had before asking, "Which section are you looking at?"

10+0 = 10. Failure. Isamu || Katsu Lvl. 1 || HP: 10/10 || CP: 10/10 || MHP: 8/8 Katsu turned right to the sports section when the girl who was near him actually spoke up. What was he supposed to say here? Was he supposed to say that he wasn’t having problems so that she didn’t think he was such an idiot? Or should he tell the truth on the off chance she was actually having issues with it? There just didn’t seem to be a good answer to it. “I suppose I am not; as for the section I am currently on sports. I was unaware that such a section existed until now.” Oh yeah, that was really insightful. Right now, he just wanted to bury his head into the paper like an ostrich in the sand to get away from this situation. But it was too late for that; now that he had answered her he was trapped in this conversation. He supposed he could let Isamu take care of it, but he’d probably only make things worse. She’d probably think he was some kind of monster Katsu let him do the talking. Reading the Newspaper DC: 15 Formula: 1d20+Int Mod (+0) Successes: 2/5 Failures: 5

Yuzuki only smiled hearing his response. At least she wasn't the only one who was having trouble with the newspaper. However something he said did make her a little curious. "There's a sports section?" Flipping through the pages until she got closer to the end, seeing what he was talking about. "I don't really read the newspaper often...I'm more of a good book person."

Her dark eyes scanned the sports article, but there didn't seem to be anything that interested her in it. She looked up at the clock, seeing that a good bit of time had passed since she been waiting in the lobby. Her legs tingled a little as she placed the newspaper beside her and stretched a little. She smiled at the boy, trying to find a way to be a little more talkative with him, "My name is Yuzuki, Yuzuki Tanaka. What's your?" She took her seat again, opening the newspaper to a random page as she waited for his answer.

Her eyes flicked from the boy to the page she flipped to, Fashion? I didn't know that was a thing too. However most of the things that the article discussed wasn't too much up her alley either. She rolled her eyes, flipping to instead an opinion column and reading some of the letters to the editors that were sent in to the paper, to get a good idea of some other people's opinions on the village's current events. It seemed a little easier to understand since all of the letters were written simply, but still managed to give a good point in the end.

Flipping from the letters she moved to the current events page, seeing if she would have a better chance of understanding it now since she gave herself such a long break from reading it. It was a little bit easier, especially since most of the letters she read in the previous section touched a little on the subject. It was good to see that some things were starting to make sense to her, despite how long it took her to get this far. She mindlessly toyed with the end of her braid, her eyes slowly scanning the article line by line, much like she did with books at home.

She finished the current event article, and while she did feel like she learned something there was a small part of her that was still hopelessly confused. She turned to the back of the newspaper and did see something that wouldn't be too hard to understand, comics. Her smile widen as she read each comic, suppressing her giggling so she didn't disturb anyone else. One particular strip was enough to cause her to slap her hand over her mouth to muffle the sound even more.

Tobitake stepped through the front door of the academy and into the waiting room. He looked around noticing the two students who were reading the Sandy Times, the villages newspaper, least he could see they weren't hyper and all over the place. He sighed hoping they would both stay that way. "Umm, I'm Toribizu Tobitake, and I'll be your teacher," he said after clearing his throat. He rubbed the back of his neck trying to soothe himself and make things easier. "You could finish your reading while I grab a few things from the front desk," he told them. "Oh and there is a great comic on page two and there is another article about the new Kazekage," he explained to the two hoping to help them.

At the sound of someone clearing their throat, Yuzuki almost jolted upright. Her eyes quickly centered on the ninja in front of her. He didn't fit Yuzuki's previous thoughts about what her teacher might be. She was imagining someone a little bit older, but she quickly shook her head. After all appearances can be deceiving. She watched as he left to pick up his things at the front desk before turning her eyes to the article that he mentioned, reading up on their new Kazekage.

Yuzuki glanced up from her paper, looking over to the other student before nudging him with her shoulder, "What do you think about our teacher? He's younger than what I thought he would be." She looked down at her paper again, sighing at the fact that the article that their teacher pointed out to them was just as difficult to read as the others. However soon it got easier to read, learning a little more about the Kazekage in the process.

Tobitake walked up the stairs onto the second floor and proceeded down the hallway till he found his classroom. He opened it and proceeded to get the classroom today for the first day of classes. He arranged the books on every desk, wrote today's lesson on the chalkboard, and cleaned the dust off everything so it looked fresh and new. Once he was done he walked to teacher's desk and brushed his fingertips again the wood. It felt old, strong, probably been used for a long time by others before him. He then notice his was short of breath, or he wasn't breathing. "What am I doing? Am I really sure I want to do this?" He thought. Was it wrong to have doubt? Tobitake wasn't the best ninja out there, nor the smartest. But he was willing to help the village whenever possible, but was this the best way for him to do that? Tobitake legs started to feel shaky, his palms a little sweaty. Was he nervous? Probably so, but he had a job to do and like many times before, Toribizu Tobitake always found a way to see it through. He might not have any teaching experience, nor any confidence in his abilities to teach the future of this village but he was doing to give it his all. Coming to this conclusion and his resolve firm, he took a nice breath and said to himself, "Okay, lets do this." Tobitake then took his seat, a seat he will use for as long as he teaching here at the academy and see the future of Sunagakure no Sato pass through this academy.

[[classes are ready to begin, post anytime your ready guys]] Yuzuki was a bundle of nerves, a bit of excitement mixed with uncertainty flowed through her. However she tried her best to ignore it. After all it was only the first day, she was sure no one was expecting that become full flown ninjas right off the bat. She walked over to one of the free desks near the front, taking her seat and chewing on her lower lips a little. Her hands rested against the smooth surface of her wooden desk, as she shifted and adjusted in her seat in an attempt to make herself more comfortable.
