Madison grinned. "I'm a sneaky b***h, yeah. I just don't see any real point in using it on allies - and anyone truly human counts. I try not to get too involved in higher-ups pissing matches. Dr. H and Caelius can fight their own battles without using us as pawns, y'know?"

She'd heard the rumors - of course she had. She just made it a point not to get personally involved. It was too... well, too damn high school. And she'd already DONE that. So.

"I forget that Caelius is with your team. I'd say you have it worse, but I don't much care for Dr. H either. What do the Death group get up to? I've only ran a few errands to their building and I'm usually giving ...well, no pun here, Death glares the entire time. I heard you do research as well." He was actually curious what the Death group had to offer, but rarely got a chance to even talk to a Death division member.

"Hm." Madison sniffed at the rose again before answering. "It varies, I guess? People tend to be kinda secretive about exactly what they're doing, but it's kind of... spy-type stuff, I guess? Gathering information by whatever means necessary, kind of thing. Sometimes it's researching, sometimes it's golems in Halloween. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to specialize in, so..."

"Sneaks. Spying is sneaking and you have to wonder why the Lifers get up in arms when the Death members slip in. I have yet to be bothered by then, but I barely see them." He mainly stuck to the life labs and the infirmary.

Checking his list, he tucked everything under his arm. "Maybe if I see you in the Life Labs, I won't be on such high alert."

"Got more roses to deliver?" She twirled hers again, wondering idly if she could dry it out and preserve it.
