Elipse nodded a little bit, "With all these newcomers lately strange things seem to be happening." he replied. He couldn't help but shoot a look over at Priest who seemed to be really enjoying his sandwich. He chewed on his lip a little bit when he looked around his tea house was unusually slow, "I suppose," he said feeling sadness that his business not recover from Tara's death. He sighed, "Though I'm sure with a little time things will be back to normal." he was confident that would be the case. He smiled a little bit maybe he had misjudged Umbridge a little bit, maybe it had been the stress making him a little paranoid. He was pretty sure he was hiding something but then again, who wasn't? Eclipse himself was guilty of this he had been pretending he was a human for years now. He looked down at the floor, "I wish I could help more but I don;t even know where to start," he trailed off and was now staring at the spot that he had found poor Tara. "Um, if there anything else you want while you're here? It's on the house today." he said with a friendly smile.

" I am certain your Tea house will return to its former glory in no time. Once everyone and everything calms down it should be like nothing happened at all." Dorian reassured Ryuu.
Shocked at Ryuu's generous offer Dorian smiled gratefully. " Thank you, I will take you up on that offer." He had to accept, even though Dorian didn't have to eat food, he always had to eat it in his line of work. There were an overwhelming amount of people he had to deal with all the time. Maintaining his appearance of an unassuming human being was absolutely necessary. Glancing at the menu quickly he made his decision, liquids always seemed a bit easier on a vampire's body . " May I have the soup of the day and some more of this wonderful tea?" He asked politely. " Thank you once again, you are very generous host." His smile could even warm a vipers heart.

Eclipse gave a solemn smile, "I'm sure it will." he replied hoping this would be true. He looked over at Priest to see if he was still doing okay, he wasn't surprised to see the man had devoured his sandwich with the fury of a starving man. He fidgeted with his sleeve as he waited for a reply from Umbridge, he was still kind of nervous. He wasn't sure why, perhaps it was the fact that so much had happened his nerves were still recovering. "Of course, It's my pleasure. The soup of the day is brocollie cheddar soup." he informed the inspector before he went to Priests table. "Is everyting okay, if there anything else I can do for you today?" he asked the frenchman with the same placid smile on his face he had worn since pretty much everybody had arrived. He went to the kitchen to grab the soup and some more tea. When a sound at the back door just about made him jump out of his skin.
"Hey, it's just me," A voice responded from behind him, "I thought you could probably use a little extra help today so I came, boss."
Eclipse turned around to face his cook, Shiro, "Ah, domo. But you didn't need to. I knoe you were all close with Tara, I thought it would be better..."
"Don't worry about it, we want to be here. Saiyuki is here as well." Shiro said dismissing Eclipse from the kitchen.
When he had returned Saiyuki had already taken care of Priest and the bill. "Sorry for the wait," Eclipse apologized as he brought out the soup and more tea for Umbridge.

"Thanks, this looks absolutely delicious." Dorian said with a hungry grin, he was hungry just not for human food. However, sometimes it helped to quell his hunger. Just a bit. He took the soup and tea. Gently he blew at the steaming cup of tea. His mouth salivated at how hungry he was, this didn't make sense since he just fed last night. Even if he were to use his powers all day he shouldn't be as hungry as he was. He realized there was an unknown factor something that smelled delicious. This intrigued him, but he had to remain inconspicuous.
Quickly he sipped at his tea then set the cup down and slurped up some soup. For human food it was actually rather delicious. He felt the hunger slightly ebb away from him. This would be enough for now. He watched as a couple of people entered the tea house a while after the chef came in. He sat back in his chair for a moment processing their actions. He wrote a couple irrelevant notes in his little police notebook, then slipped his note book back into his pocket.

Eclipse watched as Priest got up and left the tea house, "Thank you for coming, we hope to see you again." he said pleasantly as the frenchman left the building. He turned back to Dorian, "Everything we serve is made from scratch," he explained. "Most of the ingredients for the snacks are local, from the farmers market." he smiled. He felt it necessary to buy locally as much as possible seeing as much of his tea and drinks were imported.
He was surprised at how hungry Dorian seemed, maybe he hadn't eat for a while. Eclipse watched at Saiyuki started to clean up the table that Priest had been at. He was glad that the two had come in after all, it would make his life easier. Eclipse yawned a little bit, he was feeling a little bit tired. His vision was a little blurry, then he realized it was when he was looking through his glasses. He caught his reflection in a picture frame and realized he eyes had reverted back to his natural heterochromia. quickly looked away from Dorian hoping he hadn't seen anything as he changed his eyes back to dark brown. Once again he could see clearly through the glasses. He sighed a little bit, he remembered when he first realized that he couldn't see as well when he disguised the colour of his eyes. It was strange and he couldn't explain itwas the main reason why if he took animal form he kept his eye colour the same. He was kind of lost in thought and staring off into space.

Dorian could have sworn he saw Eclipses eyes change, but he couldn't be certain it was brief of a moment he saw this. He did notice strange things kept happening around him though. It can't be a coincidence. He thought to himself this vague thought. He watched Eclipse a little more closely for a moment to see if he was acting weird at all. It donned on him that Eclipse smelled so good, unless it was one of the chefs. He couldn't risk another outbreak of irrational dining.

EClipse kind of snalled out of his daze and realized Umbridge was looing at him, probably because he was just staring into space. "Oh, uh sorry, I didn't mean to stare off into space." Eclipse apologized. Though it occured to him Umbridge might have seen Eclipse eyes change. He would have to be more careful, He wondered what he should do next, he was sure Umbridge probably didn't want him standing him over his shoulder watching him eat. He could really think of anything else to say, he was sure that the inspector wasn't here just to make small talk. Before he could really think of anything, "Here, Mr. Hamasaki, Shiro made you some tea and soup as well. Why don't you take a little break?" she said cheerfully. "You, don't mind if I sit here?" he asked Dorian as he knelt down at the table. Saiyuki had placed the tea and soup on the table for Eclipse already .

Dorian gladly accepted. “Of course you may sit down.” He told Ryuu happily, “it would be my pleasure.” He watched as a steaming bowl of soup came out of the kitchen along with the tea. He also realized the thing which was making his instinct supersede his judgement was also becoming more intense. The scent wrapped around in his nostrils, no human he ever smelled had this delicious scent. Slow to realization, he became aware that the scent was Ryuu. He quickly broke his gaze from Ryuu and carried on eating his meal hoping that this would help mask his vampiric instincts. He shifted in his seat for a moment concentrating on things other than his blood lust. He couldn’t help but wonder what was causing Eclipse to smell so delicious. He knew he wasn’t human, he was pretty sure at least. He was also aware that he may have seen some of his true form, though he wasn’t entirely sure because it happened so quickly. At a lost what to talk about at the moment he thought, what are you?

"Thank you." Eclipse replied with a small smile, he noticed that Umbridge seemed distracted by something. His stomach knotted a little bit as he entertained the possibility that Umbridge had seen the change in his eyes. He decided to push the idea out of his head and enjoy his soup as much as possible. Maybe he was over thinking things, yet usually his instincts weren't wrong. Warning bells had gone off in his head ever since this guy had come into his shop maybe they were right.
He slurped up a spoonful of soup and almost instantly forgot his anxiety. He was pretty sure it was his own recipe but he didn't think it was be so tasty. He wondered if Shiro had added something or did something a little different. Just when he was starting to feel like Umbridge wasn't out to get him, he heard it. 'What are you?' resounded through his mind. It sounded like it came from Umbridge. Eclipse's head shot up in shock and he almost dropped his spoon. "I'm sorry, did you say something?" he asked without thinking. As the words came from his mouth he realized that Umbridge might not have said anything at all.

"I knew it, I knew there was something different about you!" Dorian exclaimed in a hushed whisper. " So then spill the beans what are you?" His hushed whisper sounding more and more excited. " I knew I saw your eyes change and apparently you can read thoughts. " Genuinely astounded he gave an impressed grin. " How have you been able to stay under the radar for so long?" Each question seemed to pop out of his mouth before he could stop himself. He knew he had him trapped now. More than ever it was extremely important for him to know what things he was dealing with.

Eclipse stared at him in bewlderment, he wasn't sure what to say or what he should answer. He sighed a little bit not being able to beliee after all his years of hiding out had come to an end by a cop no less. "I imagine it's Inspector Umbridge of the supernatural police force, then?" he replied cautiously. Out of everyone to avoid being found out the supernatual police had been his biggest concern. He chewed on his lip, "Not here, my staff doesn't know. I don't want them to find out." he whispered back. He finished his soup and tea quickly before standing up, "The inspector and I are going to my office," he announced to Saiyuki amd Shiro. They would know not to disturb him while in the office, "If you follow me Inspector Umbridge, my office is right this way." Eclipse gracefully stood up and wondered if he should bolt for the door but then again he wasn't sure what he was dealing with in Umbridge. Eclipse went over to the office door and opened it waiting for Umbridge to go in first,

"That may be a possibility."Dorian followed after Eclipse, gracefully standing from the table and collecting his things. " Well then of course!" He was intrigued to find out why he smelled so delicious, after all not everything supernatural smelled good per say. Werewolves smelled terrible, he could smell one from a mile away. Some of the witches smelled good, but what could possibly smell this divine. He wondered if he was going to do something stupid once the door was closed. He couldn't afford another scene, the first one was tricky enough to cover up in the first place. Determined to keep his craving in check while is tete et tete was going on, he brought his soup with him. " Sorry I am feeling a bit peckish still this soup is delicious." Complimenting Eclipses establishment he whisked the soup away with him. (( this place is making me crave udon soup))

Eclipse closed the door after himself as he walked into the office after Umbridge. ECclipse looked nervous, part of him really just wanted to bolt. He didn't want to do this, he just wanted to be left alone. Though heknew he couldn't cause a scene, "Don't worry about it." Eclipse said passively as Umbridge brought the soup with him. Eclipse looked aournd the enclosed room, there wasn't much space and it was quite dark.
Eclipse took his glasses off, for a moment everything was blurry and hard to make out. Then, everything became crystal clear as he let his natural form take hold. His eye returned to their natural colour, the dark black marking became visible on some exposed skin and of course his wings were in full view now. "Some would call me an angel," he said quietly, he was staring at the ground waiting for a reaction. He ruffled his wings a little bit sending some downy feathers into the air. "While my father named my Ryuu, I developed the nickname Eclipse as I got older."

Dorian nearly dropped his soup bowl on the ground, he almost forgot it was there. " Angels? They exist?" He sounded outright astounded. " Well I guess that makes sense if demons exist." Carefully thinking things through he came to a conclusion. " Wait you say you have a father?" In his mind this did not make sense, weren't angels created not born. Dorian mindlessly ate some of the soup while trying to work out how this was possible.

Eclipse shrugged a little bit, "I haven't met anybody else like me," he said, "For all I know I could be a freak of nature." he said thoughfully. He sighed a little bit and shook his head, "Besides I'm not christian,so I don't really believe in that kind of stuff." the angel went on. He chewed on his lipped a bit there wasn't really else much to say on his exact origins, "Well in a sense, I was raised by a human, he found me, I was just a baby." Eclipse looking thoughtful again. It was time like these he really missed Jin's protection, "He was a scientist by the name of Dr. Jin Hamasaki.". he was looking at the ground intently as if something was really interesting down there. "He's passed away quite some time ago." while Jin had been alive he was treated very well. Jin had be able to protect him from the curious and cruel side of humans after he had passed away the protection had dissapeared and Eclipse had been subject to all manner of horrible things. He tred to not the think about it too much, "Anyway the point is I'd been wandering for a long time, when I found this city I'd found a place where I could live in peace. And I wish to continue living in peace and quiet and would very much so appreciate you not telling a soul about this." Eclipse's stance became a little more threatening. The shadows seemed to grow darker as if reacting to Eclipse, He was still in front of the door, "If you can't agree to that, I have ways of making you forget." Eclipse's stance then relaxed and he was once again in the form of the unassuming Ryuu Hamasaki, he put his glasses on and smiled his polite little smile and tapped his head. "Oh, and I'm sure you know I probably wasn't being completely honest when I told you my alibi, I was cat for most of the night. I was by the scene of that gruesome murder. Ask any of your police officers there was a white cat with one blue eye and brown eye at the scene." he was still smiling a little bit,
