He would normally say something but he figured it was Shinzu's competative nature kicking in. Gennosuke sighed and then looked ahead into the grove. "Well hopefully we can get into there and find out whats waiting," he said attempting to answer Shin's question. "And hopefully we all come out alive," he finished taking a gulp. He watched as Shinzu started cutting through the vines and entering deeper into the grove. "Make sure we all stay together, and keep an eye out for anything," warned Gennosuke taking this time to scan ahead to see if he can see anything. He made the same handseals as before before sending out his sensory wave.

TADѳɗɢє βѳɳus: 16❆ ╚════════╝ ❆Shinzu had failed at cutting the vines intially, which went to prove that raw strength wouldn't be enough. Gennosuke seemed to have no problem cutting through them and even then when Shinzu tried again, he had managed to cut most of the vines. Tenshi decided to save his strength and simply look around. Gennosuke seemed to think that something was out there, and Tenshi thought so too... something had flattened the grass back at the 'crime scene' and Tenshi was afraid to find out. It was definitely not natural, and he hated the supernatural... ever since those two ghosts... he shuddered thinking about them. "Something is definitely out there... I can feel it..."

Gennosuke manages to sense the large chakra signature from before was again, but this time it's much closer, perhaps only fifteen meters or so away. To add to the discomfort of the whole group came a large hiss, as if a warning to leave the area, it's territory.
Intimidate: Roll (20) + Itimidate (12) = Nat 20 vs Sense Motive
(Oh we are in sooo much trouble lol, anyway still roll, just in case you manage to get a nat 20 and have a higher sense motive score.)

"Umm, guys I think we should...umm...go back and get some help with this one," he said backing up slowly. He continued to step back slowly making sure to stay alert just incase the creatured decided to attack.

Tenshi was beginning to fear for his life. He doubted these were summons and would hold back because for one... it probably didn't have a master, and two... well he doubted animals had morals... The only thing he would have on his side was his Reido Tougen. Snakes did dislike the cold, but Tenshi was barely able to move away as Gennosuke was doing. He could barely hang on to his sword. Why does everything have to frighten me? "No offense, but I don't want to get any closer than we already are."

Like everyone else, Shinzu was scared by the loud hissing noise. Last time they'd fought a giant snake he'd been the only one to do any real damage. "Do we have to go Gen?" Shinzu said as he punched his open palm. Intimidated he may be, he did not intend to fall back. unless ordered to do so of course. As far as he was concerned him and giant snakes had some unfinished business together. "It is our mission to get rid of whatever's hounding the locals right?"

He didn't want a casualty on his hands his first mission. He took what Shinzu said into consideration. He was right that they had been sent on a mission to take out the cause of the problem but he was sure Kiri would have sent someone else if they knew it was a giant snake. "Look I don't want to force you all to attack but if we retreat more people will die," he explained trying to boost them up so that they could finish their mission. "You two draw his attention and I will prepare my technique," he said starting

The Snake slowly slithered out of the brush, easily knocking over and pushing aside the largest of the bushes. It hissed loudly again, and almost seemed to grin as it sized up the ninja before it. As it did so it coiled itself up from behind, as suddenly lunged towards the ninja. It was russhing towards Shinzu, opening it's mouth wide to bite at him. So large was it's size that it actually brushed passed Gennosuke and Tenshi.

He wondered how a snake could get so large... Tenshi was starting to shake. He wondered what it was like being eaten alive by a snake... The slimy... gooey insides... He shuddered. He gripped his sword and went to strike the large beast, but his strikes missed by a long shot as the large snake rushed passed him.

Shinzu eyes grew wide when the snake not only made a sudden lunge, but made that directly at him. So quick was it's attack that he barely avoided being eaten whole, but suffered a hit to the thigh by one of it's large fangs. Luckily it was mostly a superficial wound, Shinzu couldn't help but think that this particular snake had more bark then bite. Did snakes even bark for that matter? Regardless Shinzu landed a few feet back from the snake, only the flow of blood on his leg suggesting any kind of wound. With a look of steel determination on his face Shinzu charged at the snake. As he drew near he lifted his leg, and his foot flew ina flurry of kicks. "Daisenpu!"
