Any time will do, my love...
I'd totally go along with the Monster Bash idea - I've got a Jorogumo (Think centuar, only with a spider body) avatar that I haven't really gotten to use.
Although I like the Zombie idea too,
... Any time will do, no choice of words will break me from this rule.

Never heard it referred to as a Jorogumo before... always figured it to be a Drider (Drow/Spider hybrid) from the Forgotten Realms setting in Dungeons and Dragons. *Waves geek card frantically* Now I've got research to do - thanks!!!

eran no shi like i said in the PM, since you seem to like your zombies XDD similar to resident evil. we're a group of survivors, and any visitors that we get are people that we've found among the ruins of civilisation? this is really basic i know but thats what makes it awesome XD

I've been reviewing the suggestions and I was exploring the concept of a costume party. But that's basically all I have.
Maybe we can make some sort of party where it is revealed that the hosts are actually the creatures they're dressed up as?
I dunno.
I'm going to be filling out the thread with actual information later on, by the way. ^^

Alias Facade Gaia is absolutely FULL of stuff for zombies, especially considering the Walking Dead promotional items, so that would be a really easy theme to host as well as encourage participation in.
Vampires vs Werewolves should be avoided because that has been done to DEATH (see what I did there?).When I read Ink's suggestion, I instantly got the song Monster Mash stuck in my head, and now I'm envisioning a 1950's era monster party in a high school gym... is that too weird? 'Cause I'd totally make a wolf-man with a pompadour...
I am so on board with this. Vintage Horror Films are one of my favorite things, along with the '50s style... I hesitate to say Grease with Monsters, but... Grease with monsters!!

Well maybe we could mae it so that some of us could be "Old School" monsters and act like the chaperones, and then the newer guys and ghouls could be modern students like Monster High styled?

If you follow folklore and not whatever is trendy, werewolves are lesser beings that function as servants to vampires... primarily because when they die, they rise up as vampires thus need to stay on the good side of their superiors. I'm not part of your committee though, so may show up as a [fake] guest depending on if your theme appears to be vampire-friendly or not.
