"Self-defence classes are a good approach to getting stronger... I need to bother some of my girls in regards to such a simple assist." The feline nodded her head firmly enough to cause her bell collar to jingle lightly. She took several more nibbles on her cookie, eventually devouring the whole thing before adding "I personally am not a fan of fighting... but it is a necessary tactic to ensure the safety of the innocent. I prefer playing over fighting... oh, and snacking!"
********* seemed comfortable in the boy's lap, but when he mentioned the chance he was going to get back to work, she hopped off his lap like a good obedient cat.
"Well... I suppose that is a good idea... though I am curious... any particular route that you tend to stick to? I'd love to meet up with you again... if you don't mind keeping a cat company as she wanders the streets!"

Standing as well, Athene shook his head as he bent to retrieve the half-forgotten gingerbread latte, the cup much cooler to the touch than it had been earlier “Ah no, I don’t really have a fixed patrol route,” for a moment he looked thoughtful. “But there’s a diner near the hospital – I think it’s called Macie’s – which opens until fairly late and I usually stop by there first to get a hot drink and sometimes something sweet to munch on before powering up. Maybe we could meet around there sometimes” he smiled as he admitted “I’d like the company too.”
Stopping at the late night diner was a habit that the dark-haired teen had fallen into as a basic senshi – in the days when his senshi outfit had pretty much resembled a t-shirt, shorts and bare hands get-up (not exactly the most practical things to be wandering the streets in during the cooler nights of autumn and the downright frigid winter nights) – and Athene had never really fallen out of the habit, even though his upgraded outfit was somewhat more practical now that trousers and something resembling gloves of a sort now replaced the shorts and bare hands of his previous uniform.
Actually talking about something sweet… A quick look in the bag with the gingerbread cookies revealed that two were left and after briefly setting down the most likely cold latte, Athene took one and offered it to ********* “Here one last one for your travels tonight.” The last cookie, he would probably save for the point where he was about to head home for the night, although he had a fair bit of walking to complete before that point become more than just a vague notion – something to consider once the evening was less young.

The feline seemed to perk up, bobbing her head up and down a couple times. However, a simplistic cheer seemed to spread across her features the moment the final cookie was offered. She managed to mewl out a pleased "Thank you, Athene" before she grabbed onto the offered cookie with her teeth.
Quite promptly, she was back to work, gnawing on the cookie, seemingly content. She partially seemed to wave a paw at him, as if saying goodbye for the evening.
She'd see him again. It was always easy to find the good senshi in this city.
