Anyway, you are the boss of your rp. Will you be playing any characters in the rp yourself? Someone to stop Grimlock and Starscream from just going at it maybe?
Can we start or are we waiting? jw
Is Grimlock from somewhere or OC?

To add on to Yoshi's reply Starry, Grimlock has been around since the first season of the original "G1" Transformers and has been in many of the Transformer stories since with varying changes to his back story and design but over all stays relatively the same. My incarnation of him for this rpg just adds a third form of a vehicle for easier transportation around Earth even though I'm maintaining his T-Rex form because I absolutely love it. lol
As for ruining a character Para, you have to understand that's a fairly harsh thing to say. I mean sure you could make Optimus a sulking wimp who had no leadership qualities and yes by comparison of his canon that'd be very much 'a ruining' but if your intention was to say start him off as a new leader, not sure of what he can really do and has to grow into the leadership role we know and love... that is in fact a new take on the character and can only be more interesting to play. My point is, so long as you have a plan and stick to it, you're golden. We're in the Omniverse 73, change and adaptation are pretty much what we do best. hehe
So you know what? Pick up Optimus Prime and go for it! As leader of your rpg, it's a good idea to play a character of importance that can be used to help drive forward your plot lines. And more importantly... it's a role playing game, by definition you pick up a role and play it in a game. So have fun! heart

Well, Bay movies' and what I look up on Wikipedia, but the history is so extensive I try to read it in pieces' and if I get the basics then I will just jump in.
Cannon and Fan fiction are different, if they were the same what point would there be to writing and sharing them: we are fans writing for these characters' and between fans and pros there are always variations and differences of opinion, sometimes even clashing ones.

That's okay, I'll make the Jet Twins Decepticons, it probably makes more sense that way as the Bay films like G1, I know Jetfire was an autobot in G1, but as I recall ((However vaguely)) he was the exception that proved the rule.
