Amaya smiled up at him as he stuttered Damn. Looks like this guy's crushin' hard.. Meaning that he was so going to use this to his advantage when the time came, he held on to his arm tighter, acting nervous about her new surroundings. "How come your stuttering Josue?" His voice was small and almost shy. Now that they were familiar, even if it was just a bit, he could stop the stuttering and talk normal though only to a certain degree.
He walked into the restaurant, still clinging onto Josue, and got themselves seated in a booth next to a window. Letting go of Josue's arm he slide into the left side of the booth, looking out the window and out into the sky. He loved the sky here in the world the living ones lived in, it was so pretty. The sky they had back home was a dark crimson red with black clouds, it never changed, it just always stayed the same, an eternal night. No sun, but only a bright red moon that loomed in the sky, all the time. His world felt fake to an extent but it was as real as the world he was in at the moment. Looking at a waitress who stopped by their table asking if they wanted anything to drink he ordered a Sprite, sure he wasn't much of a pop person but he needed something sweet and something to sip on when he needed to buy time to answer or come up with a lie to a question or comment he might be asked.
Receiving his Sprite shortly he took a sip asked softly "Do you usually hang out with friends after school?" His eyes showed much interest with the question but inside he really had no interest, he wanted to get his new toy from the warehouse but he also had to make sure that Josue was off his back for the day. Sighing mentally God I hope this hanging out goes by fast.... He took another sip of Sprite.
