Healing: Though Raven is a Neohuman, this attribute takes time. Her body's healing process is accelerated. Still requiring the attention and dressing of a standard wound, such as stitches, it still takes days what it may take weeks for the normal human body to heal.

Because Raven is an Earth Snake, she specializes in being able to heal others. Though not always physical, If she can enter the mind or infringe on the spirit, she can slowly begin to mend it.

Empathy: Raven's intuition--mostly due to her Psychic link to Jesta', and her virtue being Love, has gained her the ability to be labeled as an Empath. She can hone into the emotions of those around her. If she has not established a mental connection to them, it requires a simple touch. Because there is a trail with a psychic connection, she can scan the mind to pick up not just others emotions, but their surface thoughts as well, even if she has not had mental contact with them for some time.

Telepathy: Raven's Daemon, Jesta', incited a Psychic link for Raven, which also allowed her to communicate with others in a silent fashion if need be. Mostly a side-effect of being an Empath, Raven's ability for telepathy gained her fame and was part of the rise of her Diente Spy network.

Psychokinesis: One of the more difficult attributes that Raven obtained as a side-effect of being a Neohuman, the ability to harness her strong Will and mental capabilities became a physical manifestation. Though a draining process that has proven to be detrimental to her already fragile mental state, Raven can use basic defensive attacks--and with her Ascension--basic offensive attacks.

Weakness:
Physical: Raven cannot consistently use her swift speed as a Neohuman for long periods of time. She can outlast most mortals and several immortals, her body can still be worn out in record time if she overuses. She must use her speed sparingly to keep from tearing her own body apart. If fatigue sets in, her fighting becomes sloppy, slow, and leaves her vulnerable. Though her body has a natural healing process, it is not an instantaneous one. It can take several hours or days what can normally take several days or weeks.

Mental: While her abilities as an Empath require touch, it’s her use of Psychokinesis that Raven can rarely use. With her Ascension, it has strengthened yet can be more detrimental if she puts forth too much concentration to invoke it. Her nose will bleed, or she will cough up blood, and she will become severely disoriented as the use of Psychokinetic abilities takes a toll on her fragile mental state. Even as an Empath, Raven willingly chooses not to divulge herself with being able to encroach on her opponent’s mind, body, or spirit. She can perceive an initiative attack by picking up the surface emotions. The faulty of being an Empath is the opponent’s consistently changing their decisions as well as emotions. This can often confuse or trick Raven into misreading, and thus her plan can easily be backfired. Raven does her best to read her opponent’s body language before feeling forced to rely on her ethereal abilities.

Emotional: Raven suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder. Though she rarely brings it up, she often suffers from anxiety due to her past with OXY, and the aftermath of her children’s death. She frequently dwells on these events, including the death of her brother-figure. Her Guardian complex can often lead her to being overbearing on the protection of her comrades, and this can often be used against her in battle if it is picked up on. Raven considers her loved ones to be the single reason of existence. She takes her duty as a Guardian beyond seriously and if it can be used against her, it will ultimately break her down. She cannot comprehend the concept of failure, as her entire life she was trained to succeed in whatever it was that she did. The death of her children, and the failure to save her brother-figure among many other friends and family she has lost, haunts her. For this, she considers her virtue of Love to be both a blessing and a curse. Although it can strengthen her, it often causes her to despair.

Bio:

In her youth, Raveena was known as Laa'zera Raveena Lavendra Senaria, the future crown ruler to a race of celestials known as Matreyans. Her Senarian bloodline was strong, her father an Elementalist, and her Mother a former Astral Virtue Guardian. Through a scandalous affair as a Descended One, a Guardian with potent power, her mother was entangled with her Gatekeeper, the inviduals responsible for keeping the potent power of their Descended Ones in check so they would not Ascend. To Ascend was to let the power consume and destroy you.

Enraged, Raveena's father nearly destroyed the realm and its people, and through a dramatic turn, both Raveena's mother and her Gatekeeper was killed. This strained diplomatic relations with the Gatekeeper's realm, where his two sons, Roanaku Tempest with his older half brother Kieran Starsworn took leadership. It was assumed that Kieran was the crown prince, with Roan being an illegetimate child. They were a race of inviduals more dark and brutal than the peaceful, graceful, moon-worshipping Matreyans who danced their emotions.

Raveena felt the neglect from her father, who reclused until deciding to remarry again. The woman with her older daughter, Rhianna de Terrec, thought only of themselves, and the Matreyan world was decaying. Raveena's mother housed a powerful parasite in the form of a Crystal. This Parasite allowed Matreyans to co-exist in a world where only the strength of Will determined its upholding. Ostracized by her family, Raveena was thought to lack the will, but the new wife refused to allow her daughter to carry the burden. And so, it was thrust upon Raven to bear, and forced into her.

This became far too much for Raven to handle at her young age, for she was only three. She lost her mind, killing her father and ensuring the demise of her own realm. Rhianna and her mother vanished, and would not be seen or heard from until years later. Raven, for her heinous crimes, was exiled from her Celestial home, and sent to a nether realm where the science of OXY, Organization XY, excelled in super-cell metamorphosis.

It was there she underwent a dramatic transformation, her body reformed into a Neohuman. She was placed in Project K.A.N.Z.A.K.I., where she gained the alias Raven. Undergoing several trials and stints of brainwashing, Corvus was born. A mindset fostered by OXY, Corvus rose in the ranks, first of her kind to adhere to the Pentalws of Guardianship. With her biomechanical metamorphosis, she was tasked with archiving high-end, tight-lid experiments and projects, effectively and systematically killing anyone unauthorized to access them. She lacked love, friendship, allies, and emotion, reverting to a mindless killing machine. It was there that she met Alan Korina, who had cleverly slipped past the brainwashing of OXY and decidedly would free Raven and bring her with him. They barely succeeded in escaping to the Human plane. OXY has relentlessly searched for Raven to retrieve her. When the original mindset of Raveena collided with Corvus, Raven became the end result. She decided to keep the name Raven, with Sena being short for Senaria, and Kanzaki. A mix of both to remind Raven that she is her own, despite being both Raveena and Corvus.

Alan introduced Raven to Roan, whom Raven believed hated her due to the past of their realms and parents. Kieran had established the new Astral Virtue Guardianship, a group of powerful individuals tasked with protecting their realm. Each individual posesses a virtue that stands out more than one other. It was discovered that, through all that Raven had been through since OXY, Love was her strongest virtue. She had served as a diplomat, assassin and spy before encountering Kieran and the AVG. She had become touched by her own Astrological Sign, Cancer, and with the help of her newly manifested Daemon--a large Panther known as Jesta', Raven discovered her ethereal abilities an an Empath. Jesta' allows her to have a psychic link, for which she can communicate. Her abilities as a Neohuman granted her the ability to harness Psychokinesis. She had even at one point married, settled down, and had two children. Yet short-lived, through a series of unfortunate events, Raven savagely murdered her two children against her will, enstilling a deep-seated fear and hatred from her Husband that nearly led her to being turned over to OXY. Roan intervened, rehabilitating Raven and leaving her to the council of a guild of Gaian fighers, where she first met Lucas, the Imperfect Angel.

Several years after the coming and going of the Guild, Lucas called upon Raven. He had since returned to the Celestial realm of Heaven and requested her to act as his personal Vanguard, a job she took seriously. This led to a gruesome war, and an eventual indefinite peace after an unexpected alliance formed against a new power. Prior to this alliance, Raven forewent her life to protect her comrade, Ascending as a Guardian and severing her connection to the physical body due to already being in Heaven's realm. Raven supported her faction for Heaven by participating in a tournament to gain the money to recreate her physical form to return to the Human Plane. At the end of her term serving with Lucas, she barely achieved this yet returned to the Human Plane to pick up on unfinished business and to return to her duty as an Astral Virtue Guardian.

She chose to City of NIght as it fell into her quadrant of protection. Her new Gatekeeper following the death of Roan, former Spartan and later Praetorian reformed as a Carpathian Vampire named Corvinus Sindacco, accompanied her until he was pulled away to attend to an uprising among the Carpathians. Raven settled into the city, choosing to live as a Private Investigator. Her abilites as an Empath aid her in unraveling the mysteries and intrigues of her clients.
