Mezlijin's eyes lit up at the new information he was learning about Mani. She seemed like such an interesting lady, he really didn't want to lose her company. Her voice was soft and smooth, and her coat was so alluring, he had a strange fleeting thought that it might not be so bad to be with her forever. Of course, he was WAY far ahead of himself, if he didn't cool it he'd chase her away!
"Oh? We have lions like that in our pride, they keep the cubs entertained with stories of our pride's history, as well as just fairy tales. I used to listen to them a lot when I was a cub. I bet you have just as many pleasant memories of it as I do, especially if your mother was involved." Mezlijin smiled as Mani took a step closer, and his fur began to heat around his face.
"Well then shall we begin?" He felt awkward trying to talk like Mlinzi, but where else was he supposed to learn his tricks? His Dad was hardly ever around.
