Friggen' finally.
After putting off the booth for later time and time again, Ramona had managed to at last reel the zomboil in to put on the finishing touches. Even so, Mort felt a bit nervous as he leaned over the counter and watched visitors, students and horsemen pass by.
"Don't fidget so much," his mother told him, sliding his hood down. "And put on a smile, Mortie! You did a good job and I know people will see it."
"Mrrr . . ." He only nodded and sipped some Spite, watching Lancelot turn his head this way and that excitedly.

Already having had enough drama to last a week, Belladonna was finally glad she could go take a bit of a breather at Mort's booth. With a loud cheer she ran toward the booth, both arms flailing excitedly until she realized who exactly was at the booth and almost died right then there. Literally, the witch was about two steps away from flopping over onto the ground simply because it would have been the most dramatic thing possible. Instead she fixed a smile on her face and waved only one arm as she finished the distance between her and the booth. "Hi Mort! Hello Ms. McNeal! I didn't know you were going to be here today, what a lovely surprise!" What a horrible, awful, no good, very, very bad surprise! This was going to be a very long night, indeed. But without the fun caveat of there being a pun in there.

Ol-j-man 41-60 - Back and forth you go, and towards the end you almost manage to get Odin down. Then it sparks you and slams your hand down before you can recover. D: Cheating b*****d. Alice noticed a contraption inside the booth that was for a boil named Mort. It had so many lights, and what she thought were strings. It seemed very interesting. Little did she know that it was an arm wrestling machine. She rested her arm on the table, soon putting her hand with the robot's hand. " This doesn't seem so ha-" but suddenly the hand started to push her hand to the table. She tried the best that she could to push it back. When she thought that it was over, all of a sudden it came back to life, and made her hand reach the table with defeat. Her head fell down. Yes, she had been defeated, but she didn't even know what it was! She sighed for a moment before looking for the owner of the booth. She was interested in how he was able to make such machine. " Hello? Mort, isn't it? I'd like to ask about this machine." she said, pointing back at the arm wrestling machine.

Mort's face lit up at he familiar sight of red hair, and he waved in return. "Welcome!" he greeted with a smile. "Took long enough, y-yeah?"
Ramona, who had been running her fingers through Lanna's fur, looked up at the same time he did, though with less enthusiasm. There was the briefest of periods in which her eyes narrowed at the ghoul's choice in clothes, but it left as quickly as it came and was replaced by a polite smile. "Belladonna! How are you, pumpkin? I heard you were in charge of a booth as well." While his mother engaged Bells, so too did Mort find himself being addressed by his first ever visitor; the witch didn't count because he knew her. "Mrr. Sure, what about?" he asked, casting the machine a knowing look. Odin sat a rest, unperturbed.""

Alice looked up to the boil who had seen her after some time. She looked back at the machine, pointing at it. " Did you make the machine?" she asked curiously. " How did you do it, if you don't mind myself asking."

Alex was here. How could he not be here to support his zombro? He shuffled over and gave the other boil a clap on the back and a warm smile. "I hear the competition for Secratary is pretty fierce this year." He joked, while reaching up with his other hand to run fingers through his always so perfectly disheveled hair. He then turned towards Belladonna and offered her a grin as well. "Hey! Sorry I haven't had a chance to stay and visit at your booth." He actually had the decency to look a little bit ashamed with himself, though every single time he'd gone over she'd been busy chatting with Yin so he'd opted to leave rather then create an awkward situation. Anyways, Belladonna looked to be busy with an older woman that Alex didn't actually recognize, and Mort had his own visitors to deal with so he opted to just have a look around at the various robotics and merchandise for now. AyeAvast showing my support and love

"Not at all!" If anything, Mort looked pleased that she was asking and had an animated response to give in return.
"Yes, did make - well, with help from friend too, but insisted only take resources from her. T-Took a while, but skinny've it was writing out steps n' working small first to add to big. Odin's, ah..." He had to stop and think to remember since I had been so long. "Well, mostly scrap actually; was much luckier with second version, Thor. Product shown here is m-much more polished version: used to have spatula for fingers n' spoon for thumb," he recollected with a little grin. "Basically had friend look at plan to forge n'shape parts since, er, fire n' all, n' from there just assembled n' adjusted. Never did understand reason kept sparking, though...Guess age rusted more than metal."
Mort paused, then gave a self-depreciating smile at himself for rambling. "Are you, er, first time visitor?" he asked, noting her pass. "How d'you like festival so far?"

Oh look, a suggestion box! Alex grinned a bit mischievously before grabbing a paper and a penstrictor.
FEEDING THE BOX Character Name: Alexander Character Species/Class: Undead Zombro Zombie Year: 2 Comment/Suggestion: DDD machines in all of the classrooms, and a new cafeteria menu featuring all brain related food.
Hopefully Mort thought it was amusing. Alexander slipped the suggestion card into the box before meandering over towards something else.

Alice nodded as Mort continued to talk about the contraption that he had made. It was interesting to think that the fingers were a spatula and the thumb was a spoon, though she wasn't sure as to what exactly they were. It had a very interesting begining since it was first created. She smiled as he had asked her about the festical and being here for the first time. She nodded. " It is my first time visiting, and the festival has been splendid. What about you? How have you enjoyed the festivities?"

"But it looks great!" Belladonna chirped as she quickly flailed over all the little prizes, especially the earrings and lock and key. Maybe she'd have to try really hard to win one of those cuties. Sure, she could have asked Mort for one but that would have defeated the entire purpose of playing the games. The witch wanted to say more to her boilfriend, but first... His mother. It was difficult not to get a little upset at her judging eyes over the witch's outfit (She'd already decided it was a bad idea, ok!? No need to continually rub it in!), but Belladonna managed to only smile sweetly and curtsey to the older woman. "Yes, I am! Its Frighteningly Fashionable Freaks, actually that one." Here Belladonna pointed to the booth behind this one, which clearly displayed the front of it, so there was absolutely no way Belladonna could even pretend like it was more awesome than it wasn't. Oh my Hecate why is tonight getting worse and worse?!However momentary her salvation was, the witch was saved by Alexander, who she waved at enthusiastically. "Hi Alexander! Oh, its no worry. I totally understand." A very understanding nod was given, a nod that said "I know things". But before she could go on about his designs or how much fun the festival was or even the state of the roads, anything so long as it wasn't speaking to Ramona, Alexander was gone. Flitted off to do something or another and leave the witch to be mangled by this living doll. Belladonna offered a warm smile to Ramona, rocking idly back onto her heels. "So have you seen any other booths?"Why were all her abilities at civility suddenly gone? Booths?! She was asking about booths!??! Belladonna was starting to freak out just the tiniest bit underneath her sweet smile. Ol-j-man Never not a tag for youuu

Lihua had no strength at all. She knew and didn't know why she was about to play arm wrestling against a robotic arm.
She clasped the arm and waited for timer.
When the arm slamed her hand down on the table she was not surprised.
She knew this was going to happen.

It was probably a really odd sight seeing what looked like a twelve-year-old living doll pitting it out against Mort's robotic arm-thing, Odin. But Madeline wasn't about to let her noodle not-arms keep her from playing arm wrestling with a robotic arm. Seriously, how cool was that? It was hard remembering that she was supposed to be observing and bringing back samples when this festival was throwing all of the old things she used to do back in her face for her to try.
Arsen didn't have a corporeal body, but she could feel his presence rolling his eyes in her head, telling her that all the dead hunters before her were probably rolling in their graves.
Madeline just grinned. I'm allowed to have a little bit of fun too, even on the job. She told him smugly, steeling herself for the impending arm wrestle match.
And it was epic.
She almost lost about ten times, growling at her not-arms to workworkwork so she could beat this robot arm. "Oh no you don't," She said, squeaking a bit when her not-arm splintered down the middle like a true porcelain doll. "Hey!"
With a roar that would have made a sailor proud, she threw all her strength into one decisive blow, slamming the arm back into its rightful place. It took all her strength not to start swearing in joy at the victory.
Bouncing back, Madeline grinned, the strangest sight ever in an arm wrestling match. "Hehehe." Appearance Madeline is a 4' 7" living doll with silver-blue hair and bright cyan eyes! She looks like a twelve year old girl. Ol-j-man won 2 tokens & 15k silver! sn: noiresu

"Good, good! M'doing okay, though heard there's booth that d-dumps water if you hit wrong target . . ." The zomboil shuddered at the thought. "Did manage to get few cool things, though took a few times. I, ah, didn't catch name?" He extended his right hand out with a smile. "I-In case didn't notice banner, m'Mortimer but, ah, Mort is short."
As they spoke, a bulging-cheeked Lancelot scurried forward and spat something at her shoes with an excited chitter. It looked like . . . a teeny thunderbolt? Huh. He then waddled off contentedly to do the same for the ghost ghoul, thick tail waving in the air like a victory flag for a job well done.vampireluvr97 Consolation prize received! xdeathxbyxlovex Consolation prize received! Ah, he was wondering when Alex would be coming by! Mort chuckled at the joke. "Well, is one way've putting it!" he answered cheerfully. "M'gonna act like there is competition since, well, never know; gnomes might do uprising."
He also totally agreed with those suggestions, bro. Doubtless they'd probably never occur, but the point was to hear opinions, regardless of the probability. Mort made a note to go visit DDD when he had spare time. And then . . . well he'd be damned! Mort whistled at the deceptively strong little doll and clapped a few times. "Well done!" he cheered as he handed her her prizes. "Mrrr, well done! I-If recorded, bet could put epic music to. Is, er, arm alright?" When his mother cracked it was a rare occasion, but she had never once shown him how she patched it up. Living with a living doll himself, he shouldn't have been surprised to see how tenacious the lot could be.
Odin hummed grudgingly, its glowing palm almost seeming to bore into the ghoul with its soulless hatred.Kupuritama Silver has been sent and have two tokensssss "Ah, so that was you?" Ramona asked, looking more receptive. "I took a peak a few hours ago but couldn't stay as much as I wanted to - not with the pile of awful outfits people kept finding on the interweb." This was apparently a joke as she gave a small laugh. "But otherwise no, I have not been able to visit as many booths as I would like. This one needed to be up and running already, and you must know by now that Mortie here is a little slow . . ."
She passed the zomboil a look, watching him engage several others with a smile before turning back to Belladonna. "So tell me, pumpkin, as I'm dying to know: how many visits to his room do you make in a week?" The smile was still there, and nothing beyond her phrasing suggested that she held possible ill-will to the poor witch.

"Ah ha, yes... That ah, particular game seemed a good idea at the time but quickly took a downhill turn..." Absently Belladonna touched the back of her neck, an unconscious quirk she had picked up and wasn't sure what else to do about it. "Thankfully everyone has been making such lovely outfits, that its much easier to handle." Because no matter what, the witch was going to find the good. Even if it had to be uncovered because some rude mama wanted to take a shot at the witch's games. And then even at her own son? Mort might shuffle a bit, but he was anything but slow! Tedious, hard working, detail oriented yes, but slow? It was enough to make Belladonna placed both hands behind her back in an innocent stance so she could clench her fingernails into her hands. This was turning bad very quickly and the witch could feel herself being sucked into something dark, sinister. Very, very bad. And then it hit. And then Belladonna kept the sweetest of smiles on her face while her brain totally lost it. I've been training my entire life for this singular moment. Belladonna thought to herself, while she let out a small, delicate laugh and averted her eyes to the ground. Anyone watching who could not hear them would only see the two ghouls pleasantly chatting, perhaps even find that they were getting along. For all the world to see, it was a conversation of smiles and laughter, of a kind mother approving of her son's choice. When the witch raised her eyes, she knew she had perfected this mask of sugary sweetness. If she could say these words, tell this lie, than she could do anything. "It varies from week to week, depending on the circumstances." The circumstances were naturally left unsaid, as well as a number of other things. Instead Belladonna only continued to smile at Ramona, though she would regret her words later on, she was certain.
