Shun had taken hold of her which seemed to startled her enough to focus her attention on him. Her hands came up to grab his arms tightly, her racing heart hanging out in her throat. She looked so confused but mostly it was about her tail since she seemed to keep looking behind herself. His question didn't receive an answer but nothing more than a yes and no question would. At least nothing that would make sense. Pulling her hands back she tried to pantomime her ears shifting places and nodding like she had meant that to happen. She looked back though and frowned. The tail had been a bit of a mishap. Grimacing she grabbed for her notebook again and tried to draw a picture hoping it would be clearer. She passed the notebook page back to Shun in hopes that he would understand...or knew how to play pictionary. Probably should have practice with him a bit before this. Who knew such a game would come in handy.

Shun blinked at her as she began to pantomime. Ok. It looked like it was intentional though...
The Reaper tilted his head slightly as she began to scribble into her notebook. He hoped she wasn't writing it down. Thankfully, she wasn't. Though, he was a little surprised to see a series of pictures. He looked them over for a moment or so, trying to decipher her message.
"I didn't know you were capable of doing this... though did you really think you looked like a mouse? That's nonsense. You are a wolf and looked like a wolf."
Close enough.

Mitsu pressed a hand to her face. It was....close. He mostly got the message and that's what really mattered. She might have looked like a wolf but her ears were large and awkward though this was certainly something to get used to. Mitsu passed her hand over the top of her head feeling the small growth of hair where her ears had been moments ago. This was more normal right? Perhaps she had spent too much time in the human world to think that.
As for her talents in drawing they were...minimal but they would do. It was just hard conveying her thoughts through pictures which was obvious. Anything she drew could easily be perceived as something else.
That's when it hit her and she looked almost disappointed the solution was so simple and she hadn't thought of it until now. She no longer had her skellyphone...it was long gone back on deus but her laptop should still be around here somewhere! With it she could type a message and the program Shun used could read it to him.
Now on a mission she pushed away from Shun frantically searching looking in the drawers in her night stand and under her bed. She grabbed her backpack but paused as she found it full of things she didn't know. Class work, notes and books for things she had never attended. Candace really had been living her life for her....
Trying to push the anger aside Mitsu tossed the backpack when she realized her laptop wasn't in it. Where was it? She turned to Shun trying to pantomime what she was looking for before finally grabbing her notebook again and crudely drawing out a set of keys on one page and a screen on the other. She motioned the notebook opening and closing letting him see the picture in the process.

She had facepalmed. Did he get her message wrong? Shun blinked as she began to get up and start looking for something. Getting up, he shakily walked after her to try and see what it was she searched for. While she looked around, he frowned as he saw the notes that were taken by Candace. Narrowing his eye, he grabbed one and angrily crumpled it up. He had been trying hard to get rid of signs of that damn hunter being here, but he still overlooked things.
With a huff, he tossed it into the trash, then turned to see a doodle of something with a key-- oh her laptop. The Reaper though for a moment, then reached for a drawer and pulled out the machine, offering it to her.
Hopefully that was what she wanted. If not, he didn't really know what it was she was trying to say here. His laptop perhaps? That was back in his room though. He didn't know why she would want his over her own anyway.

Oh thank jack! Mitsu took the machine gratefully and fired it up waiting almost impatiently for the log in panel to load. Once she was finally logged in she went on a frantic search for the program she would need on the interweb. It took her some time to find it but by the time she finally had it set up she typed in a message keeping her fingers mentally crossed that this would work.
'I hope this works' The computer voice was odd and far from fluid speech but...it had worked! It was a small triumph but it opened a gateway for communication she didn't have before.
Quickly she started to type more now that she could finally explain though the computer and its odd little mechanical voice was her middle man. 'I shifted my ears because I feel like they look too large and awkward on my head right now. And you should eat something and rest.' ((evens it works odds it doesn't))

Shun waited as he tried to see what it was she was trying to do. And before long, he heard the computerized voice. Quite frankly, he was surprised he hadn't thought of this either. After all... he used Text to speech fairly often when using the machine. The voice was odd but it was better than nothing to say in the very least.
"Oh. I see..." he said quietly before reaching out to gently touch her human ear, "Though... you worry too much of these things. You're still beautiful either way.."
As for the eat and resting, he let out a sigh.
"Sleep has not come easy for me the past weeks. I can't sleep. And when I do it never lasts long. Nightmares.. I can't control them.."
He didn't address the not eating. He just didn't have the stomach and all.

Mitsu's face took on a concerned expression as she continued to type. She wished the computer could convey tone as well. 'You need to try. Please. For me. If you keep going the way you are now you're going to get hurt or sick or worse. What if something happens while you're in this state? You need your strength and you can only get that with rest and food.'
Even in her current state she was still worried about him, or maybe it was the easier distraction to putting her own problems aside. She didn't really sleep either but she hadn't for a long while when on the island and at the moment...she didn't feel the need. Eating was more of a show but she still forced herself to do it.
'Please. I don't know what I will do if something happens to you.'

The tone was flat, but Shun could see the look on her face after the message began to speak out to him. Looking down and away, he let out a sigh.
"I'll.. try. But you need to sleep too. You haven't been resting either yourself you know," he said quietly. When the voice pleaded to him, he let out another heavy sigh.
"I feel like I'd be wasting time sleeping. I need to be ready. For anything. I need to keep up my strength... I need to keep training. I want to keep you safe.. I just.."
He shook his head and glanced back to the ground.
"I feel so worthless to you. I don't even know what they've done to you but all I can do is get angry over at the idea.."

'How can you keep up your strength when you're obviously wearing yourself down?' She looked at him then her eyes full of sadness before she continued typing. 'You can't even push yourself off the floor with me on your back.'
She stared at the keys for a long time, trying to figure out how she could get her thoughts across without being too ...aggressive. 'I'm not ready to talk about what happened but you are not worthless to me. The only reason I made it was my drive to see you again. So please. Take care of yourself. My greatest fear now is I will lose you and I just can't.....'
She had stopped typing to wrap her arms around herself, rocking slightly as her thoughts took a detour. Shun in his current state would be an easy target, if they took him now he could easily be gone before Mitsu figured out how to get him back. It terrified her, shook her to her very core.
Gripping the material of her dress over her heart tightly, she focused on the laptop screen with a pained expression. Shun said he wouldn't abandon her but if he kept up with the way he was going he was going to leave her yet whether it was his choice or not. The thought of him not being there was crushing, thinking of the things the hunters might put him through. She couldn't bare it.

Shun's features softened at those words. Even with the computerized voice that lacked any sort of tone, seeing the way she moved was enough. She didn't have her ears and tail to be as telltale, but she was still a fairly expressive being with a lot of body language.
"I'm sorry..." he whispered before reaching out to gently caress her face. No, he didn't realize he was stressing her that much. Go figure he'd find some way to mess things up. Was he really the only thing that kept her going on that wretched island? It was hard to tell for sure. But.. he didn't actually do anything.
"I'll.. I'll try. We'll see if my body complies at all. You won't lose me. I swear.. Maybe one of these days I'll see what it is you see in me.."

Closing her eyes Mitsu leaned into his touch. It felt like some of the weight had been lifted but he still seemed so hesitant. Doubtful.
Pulling her arms from around herself she drew the keyboard toward her again to type. 'Do you really blame yourself for what happened?'

Shun's gaze lowered at that question.
"I spoke with Candace in the haunted house before we invaded the island. Well. Spoke and fought. She admitted that she went after you because of the things I've done. You were targeted because of me. And well... all this time I've been making one mistake after another... I'm sorry... You didn't deserve any of this.."
How would she feel after hearing this? He pulled his hand away and shifted uncomfortably in his place.
"I guess.. In a way my thirst for revenge is also a way for me to try and redeem myself."

'But.' There was a pause before Mitsu was able to continue. 'I was the one that foolishly landed myself there. But. Candace said I was there because I would make a good weapon.' Now she felt almost disappointed by the thought that she wasn't worth while to seek out on her own. Not that...she wanted to be a weapon....or did she?
Mitsu shook her head trying to clear her thoughts. 'If what you say is true am I so worthless after all?' Scraps. She could still hear the word being whispered to her now.
Scraps.
She shivered and closed her eyes trying to block out the lab and those techs. It was clear she was being disposed of, she had been worth nothing more. Not even an attempt at being made into a weapon. She was only worth her parts and whatever fear she had maintained.

"No. She told me the very same. That was her other objective. Turning you into one of them. She said the same once again when I had confronted her, discovering that she was an impostor. She... was already hinting that you had already changed. She claimed that you willingly and wholeheartedly agreed to it without any struggle," Shun said while closing his own eye.
"But quite frankly. I'm obliged to believe that ******** women isn't capable of telling any sort of truth. She fooled you. She fooled me. She's already proven to be deceptive. I don't believe a single damn word that comes out of her ******** mouth. She claimed she didn't would let you be a lab rat. That you weren't harmed. What a ******** liar," he hissed, getting angry at the thought once more. Though, he soon calmed down at Mitsu's question.
"What? Worthless? You are far... far from worthless. I would not risk my life for someone who is worthless. I would not love someone like that. Mitsu. You... you mean everything to me. I'm not lying when I say you're the moon in my sky. Others were worried about you too. Someone who is worthless would not have any of this... if... anything I'm the one who's worthless.. I kind of got you in this mess and I failed to bring you back with my own hands."

Mitsu seemed to hesitate for a moment before she uncurled again to type, her face looking perplexed. 'Candace didn't send me to the labs. Two strange men came and got me.' She looked at Shun for a moment worried before she continued to type. 'Candace came and got me.'
She didn't know if that meant she could trust her. Most likely not but the Hunter's behavior was so out of sorts. Why had she let her go? Why had she cared enough to prevent her from becoming scraps? It was so much to think about and Mitsu really wasn't sure what piece of information to start with.
Instead she turned back to the computer and began to type. 'You say I'm not worthless but consider yourself to be so. I don't understand why you are so hard on yourself. I want to make one thing very clear. It was my fault. No one else's. I was the reason we had gone to the Haunted House to begin with and I paid the price for it.' She stopped typing then to touch her arms lightly. It had been a heck of a price to pay. 'I was just lucky enough no one else physically suffered for it....yet.' She looked at Shun pointedly considering his current condition to be on the borderline. 'I know you care for me and love me and want to protect me but trying to shoulder the blame for something I did isn't going to help anything. It's only going to make you suffer when its the last thing I ever wanted.'
She closed her laptop then, closing her eyes obviously looking upset. Mitsu was done. She didn't want to talk anymore.
