Adiyan had followed Mar-Mar to this booth as the place smelled so nice and sorta like home did when he was with his gran. The tea smells relaxed him more when he saw Mar-Mar waving him down and calling his name so he when right up to her. "That tea smells really good, I take it that you made it?" he asked as he looked at the booth to see that there was a game for making tea. "I think that I will give a try myself," he said going up to try to make tea as in the past he hadn't been all that good at it.

Giving the pixie daeva a little head bow as the Fu Dog carefully following the instructions in making tea carefully as he could.


Smiling when the pixie daeva had liked his tea as this might have been one of the first times that he had gotten it right for once. "Look Mar, it looks like I got it right this time. At home I'm not that good at making tea," he said as most of the time he had left it to his gran to make and was happy about it as his tail swished a little more behind him.

A little part of him sorta wished that he could take this tea back home to show his gran but knew that wouldn't be practical and thought he would just have to make his gran some when he got back home. Adiyan watched to were Mar had been heading and he also thought it would be fun to make a tea cup. So he waited his turn for Mar to finish up hers as he watched. When it was his turn he gave the horseman a little bow right before sitting down at the pottery wheel.

Getting started wasn't all that bad and it looked like his cup was starting off alright. Man was the Fu Dog enjoying the smell of the clay as it was nice smelling just as much as the tea was to him, but then he did live underground. But with his thoughts not on his task at hand that his food slips and the wheel goes out of control and making a smear of his cup. He also splatted himself with a little of the clay too but he didn't mind at all. "Sorry about that," he said to the horsemen just in case he had gotten clay any where else besides on him. Oh he was totally going to try doing this again at a later time.

"Kiwi!" Fai said as he caught sight of the tea club booth, his black eyes lighting up at the sight of one of his favorite clansmen. "What a wonderful booth you have here! And it smells superb, my friend," he said as he looked around. His eyes caught on the brewing station and he headed over, examining the tools provided curiously.

Once he was certain this was for his brewing pleasure, he quickly put together his tea, frowning as the water got just a bit too hot--alas, his own heater tended to take more time, he thought as he pulled the tea off the heat and set it to the side to seep a bit.

It was only fitting that a Famine Alchemist made an almost perfect cup of tea, don't you think? He did blink a bit when the pixie sampled his work, but merely raised the rest of the cup to his lips, sipping slowly.

He had no clue that he was playing a game.

"Ah, so we can make our own tea cups as well?" Fai asked. "Ah, it's been so long since I've tried my hand at pottery, you know," he admitted. He sat down at the pottery wheel and got it started, wondering if he would remember how to do this sort of work.

It went well enough once he started, though, his fingers recalling the basic movements far better than his memory did. And Fai had never been much for fancy pottery--it was no wonder that his cup was plain, yet functional and rather elegant in a way.

"Not bad," he said mildly. "Do we get to keep these?" he asked Kiwi.

Kiwi smiled when he saw Fai approach the booth. "Ah thank you Fai! Well, you know, Famine brethren," he gave the horseman a wink, placing more onigiri onto the display. "We enjoy our tea. Especially the custom brews."

Kiwi took a moment to moisten the clay atop the pedestal while Fai brewed some tea, and chuckled inwardly. It was very much like Fai to be interested in his own cuppa. Alchemists were known to concoct all manner of things besides potions; herbal remedies and tea brews were some of the most well-known. And truly, they could be quite tastey. And deathly at times. He frowned.

He was almost finished with a new batch of clay, when Fai appeared back at his corner of the booth, inquiring about the teacup game. "Ah yes you may!" Kiwi answered with a twinkle to his eye, patting the stool placed next to the pottery wheel. As he stored the fresh clay, the horseman watched Fai work. Not bad at all. If the task were glass-blowing, Fai's craftsmanship would have likely been spot on. Alchemists need vials somehow after all. "Not bad Fai, and you can keep it if you wish," Kiwi informed him with a grin. "Even if your results aren't so stellar. Though I've no idea why one would ..." He himself was a warrior after all. He only carried the bare essentials. After a moment of chewing his lip in thought of this, Kiwi caught himself, reaching behind the booth to come up with a shiny token, which he offered his dear friend. "There you go, Fai, one token for your masterpiece. Feel free to stop back by, and bring some company next time!"

It was not a booth for horsemen, but there was A horsemen there. One was better than none was it not. Even if they were not from the same clan, at least she would be able to deal with a horseman better than with a student. Heals made little sound on the earth as she made her way forward, but her headdress gave the soft chimes of gold to gold. She sometimes wondered what it sounded like to famine, who would communicate with sound rather than words at times, much like how conquest would often communicate without words. It was something for another day. She would ask Salbei or one of the other famine horsemen she was more familiar with, (she wasn't really familiar with any of them).

Make your own tea cup. She wasn't sure she wanted to try it. It seemed messy. It was an internal debate. To try or not to. Vanity was one thing but pride... Pride won out. She'd make a damn tea cup. Cleaning the seat before she sat herself down, she was quite sure to make it so none of her robe would get 'messy'. That was the LAST thing she needed. The lump of clay sat untouched for a while before she reached out, trying her had at pottery. The surfaces were unadorned, but the cup itself? Smooth, perfectly shaped. It did not need designs. She could ask Lifen for help with that.

Kiwi was mildly shocked when a rather graceful Conquest horselady approached the booth. He smiled gently though, bangles whispering a greeting as he directed her towards the pottery wheel.

Her attempt went rather well, and she produced a fine-looking cup. He wasn't too surprised, as Conquest were known for their love of teas and the craft of making it. "Why yes," he answered. "It's a fine cup by my inspection." Kiwi proceeded to grab a basin of fresh water from behind the booth, bringing it around for her. He had a separate one himself, for making new batches of clay. He also came up with a few fluffy towels, provided by the Halloweeners who ran the booth.
