DIG DIG DIG!  After going through all of the rules, and listening as carefully as she could, Freya was actually SUPER excited to be picking out a pet and digging for treasure. The game looked like so much fun! She picked the scareon, because it looked like treasure itself, and therefore would be best for finding her something pretty. Then she sent it on it's way, and hoped for the best.

DIG DIG DIG! The scareon had brought her a purple candy on her first try, and she knew it was a lucky mini! Yet, on it's second dig, nothing came out. That was still lucky, figured Freya. Nothing was better than something awful. She could tell there was something awful.. just waiting..

DIG DIG DIG! Sure enough, just as she'd thought it, her poor scareon mini found a very violent little thing coming out of the hole, and the two seemed to scrap for a bit. This would certainly take a toll on her diggers abilities, she was sure..
Oh, and the poor mini. That, too.

DIG DIG DIG! That poor scareon!! It was limping! Freya considered calling the whole thing off, but she waited just a second longer, and the mini dug up an empty hole. She sighed with relief, and decided to let it finish. Even if it had to fight another mini, it only had one turn left, and she would not disgrace it by taking it out before it was complete. Victory, or death!

DIG DIG DIG! Sure enough, the pretty purple scareon brought her another pretty purple treat! She knew she'd picked the right pet, and she was proud of it for withstanding the hardships of being used for a game. She lavished the pet with praise, and handed her candies in. She hadn't won anything, but it was a fun game, regardless.

DIG DIG DIG!  As instructed, Clyde picked out a minipet to help him on his hunt for treasure, but what he still questioned was “why that one”. The Nevermelt looked like it was going to kill him. He didn't dare reach out to pet or talk to it, fearing for his arm's safety. But thankfully, it went off to sniff out those FEAR candies for him in the end…though not without kicking some dirt up in his general direction.
On its first try, the Nevermelt found a single piece of purple FEAR candy.

DIG DIG DIG! The minipet had dug out a red piece of candy, though it had thrown it at his head instead of bringing it. Clyde only winced as the FEAR candy made contact with his head. Well, at least it seem like the minipet wasn’t going to bite him anytime soon… hopefully.

DIG DIG DIG! Oh wow, this Nevermelt was good. He had found a purple piece of FEAR candy. Maybe picking the angry one wasn’t such a bad idea after all. Clyde was about to praise the minipet when a growl from the snarling minipet stopped him. This resulted in the Varcolac to take a step back with his mouth shut.

DIG DIG DIG!  And then there was Alistaire.
"What an intriguing setup you have here!" he exclaimed brightly to the booth owner, a dark-skinned boil with black hair and ears and wide, glowing blue eyes. "I am quite fascinated, I must say, and I absolutely must join this little excursion, because I feel I am qualified to do such a thing, and really this is very exciting to be here - "
And on it went for several minutes until he finally got around to actually doing what he had come here for.

DIG DIG DIG! Another piece of purple FEAR candy, another successful hunt. Clyde just stood back watching the angry minipet sniff around at the dirt, huffing at the ground when something didn't smell right.
