Paige squeaked in surprise, flushing an even brighter red. She scampered over, her soft long hair trailing her. She stood next to him playing with the ends of her hair, looking between him, the girl who kept calling him Cattleboy, and the other who had nicknamed him Valddie. "I-I'm Paige!" Even though she wasn't addressed, she spoke up feeling the need to. She quickly placed her hand over her mouth, letting her bangs cover her face. She didn't know why but she felt very embarrassed around the strange man.

When Marabella took her seat next to him, Valadic shifted himself to lean in a little towards the girl, to test and see how close she'd accept his presence right now. He wasn't attempting to flat out lay against her...yet.... "Ah. The tackle was just a surprise." He brushed aside the whole event with a wave of his hand. "I'm actually pleased you had such courage to get so close to a stranger like me." Valadic's eyes moved over marabella's face before being redirected to Paige in her ever so shy ramblings. Valadic lifted his hand and made a 'come hither' crooking motion with one of the long nailed fingers.
"It is so nice to meet you Paige. Please, don't be so shy. Come and sit next to me." Valadic shifted his tail into a sort of C shape off to the opposite side of him, his lips curled into as welcoming a grin as he could manage.

This was interesting, and he couldn't help but study this Valadic person. He certainly seemed to have quite a bit of charisma, considering how many people were flocking to him. Hmm.
Still, he couldn't blame them, there was something about him....
Oh forget this. He jumped down from his seat on the table, and dragged a chair over to where the little group was gathering. This was certainly leading up to being interesting, and he couldn't help but nod when Valadic suggested that they wouldn't let anything happen to him.
That was true. Wolves protected the pack, and he was pack, even if Caleb had never met him before. "So, I'm Caleb. It's nice to meet you all."

When Caleb would take the initiative and draw his chair up closer, Valadic shifted one of his booted feet and crossed his knees. He leaned a little closer to Caleb and gave him a approving glance over. "I am very pleased to meet you Caleb. You have such a charming style of dress." Valadic softly complimented the boy. He was pleased to see that he had nodded his head when he mentioned protecting him. Clearly he had the boy too...how many more though? Valadic glanced around thoughtfully. Four people wasn't too bad of a start...this would give him ample time to work on enthralling them deeper and seeing what he could encourage them to do for him....

Paige simply nodded moving throw the people to sit in the crook of the strange guy's tail. Odd... It moved and everything. This was surely a very interesting day. She sat her bag down at her side, sneaking quick glances at him while he talked. "It's nice to meet you too." She whispered to him quietly with a smile, turning to gaze at him with her wide hazel eyes.

" What can I say? " she said with a shrug, perhaps even a hinting of a smirk, " you looked like a humanized barnyard animal from a distance. Though, now that I have a closer look at you, clearly cattle you are not. " She teased and laughed softly.
Conclusion? Harmless with a side of wanting to be surrounded by people. She didn't mind. Marabella had hardly any friends in this city, and out of all the people this one was odd enough to warrent further investigation. Aka: does it eat lettuce?

When Paige would sit herself down in the area Valadic clearly wished for her to, that curious tail of his would move. Shifting like a living thing, it arched upwards, the gold bangle on it's end swung back and forth gently while he tried to curl it around the girls waist. Just as one might with a arm really. Valadic cast his red eyes over Paige, noting her still shy like nature. "Oh, the pleasure is all mine. I'm so happy to be meeting a girl as pretty as you are." He paused then and turned his attention right on back to Marabella. The girls comment about barnyard animals was mildly insulting. Yet she did say he no longer looked like one. Valadic had to remind himself that not everyone thought of barnyard animals as dull stinky beasts. For this girl...clearly they were something delightful and loveable. Why else would she think of him that way? Valadic tilted his head towards Marabella, his own lips curling upwards into a faint smirk. "No. I am not cattle. perhaps you'd like to touch my horns and see how not like cattle they are? Hmmm?" He offered teasingly.

"This close, they clearly are more goat like than they are cattle like. " Ah, she would surely raise dislike from that observation, so she raised her hands in a defensive posture, "Which is to say, they are more demonic like. That doesn't detract from their beauty. It just means that shiny metals would look nice on them if you have no plans on using them practically, Valadic."
It was rude to just center all the attention on the weird demon thingy. She decided to say hello to the blue haired guy that had declared his name Caleb earlier. "People watching? " she asked politely with a smile on her face.

Wasn't goat actually cattle? If Valadic had really cared about that he probably would have asked about it...clearly the girl either knew what she was talking about. Or did not. "Hmmm. Yes." He did manage to say after a moment. He reached a hand up to lightly play with one of the gold chains dangling from his horn. "Practically? Oh goodness no. Could you imagine me fighting?" He allowed a small grin to reveal the faintest points of fangs in his mouth. "I would get my stylish cloths all messy!" He paused when Marabella would turn her attention to the cute blue haired boy. Well he saw no reason to not encourage his thralls to all get along. It would make them all the more eager to work together!

Paige watched as Valadic's tail wrapped around her waist. She was so intrigued by this action that she hesitated to touch the tail. She worked up the courage to stroke it a bit before playing with the gold bracelet on the end. It was warm and it moved so it had to be real. It was like magic! She contently stared at his tail around her waist and petting it until he spoke to her.
She jumped, looking into Valadic's red eyes. "Oh tank you!" She gave him a wide smile, one hand still on his tail. "I think you look cool! You know..." she looked away for a moment, "The horns and all." She listened to the girl go on about how his horns were like a goat's and she couldn't help but giggle.

Valadic could feel Paige gently stroking his tail as he talked to Marabella. He twitched it slightly against her fingers, then curled the tip up to rest against her thigh when she began to play with his decorative bangle. His attention did linger a bit upon Paige when she would comment that his horns were cool. "Well thank you my dear. Would you like to touch them?" He offered Paige with a slight inclination of his head. Ah! He really was loving all this attention! He loved being Valadic!

Black Cat shook her head. "It doesn't seem to matter to them if you're just drinking coffee or what ever, They'll attack simply because you're powered or have power." She got up and moved her chair closer like Caleb had. "Of course, I don't see any reason not to help you out in a fight." Unless the boss Man told her to attack him, not that she could see a reason why he would. She doubted Valadic would get in the way of their world domination if he wasn't a fighter.Now that she was closer the strange taste seemed to changed a bit. Kitties! He smelt like kitties and they where super cute and she all ways protected kitties.

Valadic found Black Cat's warning rather cute in a way. All there had to be was the smallest hint of someone attacking him and already part of his crowd was getting on the defensive. Perhaps not aggressively so, but there was enough of a undertone to make him feel quiet comfortable. Bah! No one was going to attack him! Once they got into range of his pheromones they would become helpful thralls! When Black Cat got close enough to him with her chair, he reached one of his hands out to try and pat her on the knee once. "Oh, that would just be foolish of them then. I don't have any powers that would warrant an attack. All I have are my friends." He smoothly spoke while placing a bit of stress on the word 'Friends'. Valadics red eyes moved over each of the other kids faces, to see what sort of reaction that would get from them. "Still, I appreciate your warning. It's nice to have someone care enough to speak up."
