Hello there. My name is Blue Berry Muffin but everyone around here just usually calls me Muffin. I am just your every day teenager, but enough about me. This diary that I'm writing in isn't mine, it belongs to my little Hououza feather; Ariel. Since she's too young to write in it on her own.. I'll be writing for her; the events that happen to her on a daily basis, until she is capable of writing it on her own.

The begining; I first found Ariel on a warm summer's eve. I was out in the magic kingdom walking to meet up with a friend of mine when I got the feeling like something was calling me to it.. I followed bubbles that had appeared above my head, soon I found myself looking over a vast ocean. As I looked about, I noticed a strange looking leaf floating around in the middle of the ocean. Curious as to what it was, I began to pull the water towards me, causing the odd looking leaf to float towards shore where I was standing.

Once it reached the shore, I scooped it up with my hand, only to find that it was not a leaf at all, but a Hououza Kodomo feather. I had wanted one of these Phoenix Children all my life, but for some reason or another, none of them had ever wanted to come and stay with me; until now. So, with this one being just a feather, I took it in to be raised as one of my own.

I quickly began backtracking my steps, which headed me towards my home. Once I got there, I did everything I possibly could to try and make the feather feel comfortable with me. It had seemed to hide beneath my shirt all the way back... And it worried me so. I could tell from then that it would need time to warm up to anyone it comes in contact with.

As the time began to pass by since I had discovered the little feather, I had begun to notice a bunch of odd things about it. For instance there seemed to be a constant aura of bubbles around it, almost as if the feather had control of the waters themselves. Even though it wasn't near any type of ocean the bubbles remained surrounding it. I also noticed that the feather had an odd shape about it. It looked so delicate and proper so I could only assume it was a girl, perhaps even royalty.

After carefully thinking about the perfect name for my little feather, I had decided. Her name was to be Ariel since she was, in my opinion, the little mermaid.

Hello there. This is Miss Muffin again. Something kind of exciting happened today to Ariel. When I was in one of my cabinents cleaning up, I found a strange black bag. It had a yellow draw string with blue, green, silver, and purple stars on it. When I opened it up to see what was inside of it, it was a sticky substance much like paste. In the mists of all the comotion Ariel's feather swept across the room and landing into the paste . The paste covered her feather completley.

After being so incredibly frightened, I picked up Ariel and then grabbed the black bag, rushing out the door. I went over to a lab area, hasitly asking him what this black bag was and what had hit my little feather. He had told me that it was an item known as a Stage Up. Basically, it increases the growth rate and bypasses the stage of the full moon, making the Hououza grow up quite fast. So, I guess it's not all that bad that Ariel will be growing up faster... But hey.. -shrugs-

Anyways, that's all for today. I guess I should be a little more careful when I decide to do some spring cleaning huh? Well, it's too late now... So I guess I'm just going to have to see what happens to my little mermaid.

Well, today is the day! I am finally going to be teaching Ariel how to read, write, and talk. After all, if I want her to make friends with the other Hououza children, then she at least needs to know how to say "Hello" right? Plus, I hope for her to someday grow up and have her own children to love and care for. Her learning how to read, write, and talk are going to help her achieve as well as help her into getting a man for her to love and call her own. Now, on to the talking!

-a few hours later-

Wh00t! She talked!! She talked!! Ariel has said her first word! You won't believe what it is either...Ariel's first word is Water! ^^ I had given up on her talking when I brought her out to the beach. The ocean breeze was blowing our hair, I looked out into the ocean when she tapped me on the shoulder and looked up at me with her big blue eyes and said "Water!" All I could do was smile and hug my little mermaid. I'm just so proud of her!

Tomorrow I shall try and teach her how to read and right.. Or maybe the next day. I'm too happy to try and frustrate her with learning something brand new right now. -hugs Ariel-

Today is the day that Ariel learns to read and right. In the old bookcase I found her story..well the one that I read about her anyway. "The Little Mermaid." I gave her the book and let her practice pronouncing the words. After a few hours I went into her room to see how she was progressing.

Of course since this was a new skill for her to take in she was rather rusty at first, but I helped her get through it. By the end of the night she could fluently read the first chapter. She learns pretty quick if I do say so myself.

Even though she learns quickly I don't want to rush her so in the next couple of days she will slowly be finishing the book then it's off the writing.

Ariel has managed to learn how to read fluently. She's been reading this very journal as a matter of fact. Soon enough she'll be able to write in it on her own, but of course she is still a child. Now she'll be learning how to write.

After buying Ariel her very own journal so she can practice writing, in the first page I wrote out the letters of the alphabet. Of course you'd have to start out small before you can go further.

I'm very proud of her she's been working on writing her alphabet out and she's doing extremly well. She'll be writing on her own in no time <3

Ariel is now able to write all the letters of the alphabet on her own. Yes, without tracing the letters. She is really determined to start writing sentennces.

Today will be that day. Sentence structure after all she has to learn the basics of writing besides the letters that will be used.

With that I will be off to teach her some sentences perhaps this next entry will be written by her. <3

Hi. My name is Ariel. My mommy told me that since I can write on my own that I can start making entries for myself now. I'm excited that I can tell my own stories.

It was hard work learning how to read and write but I'm glad that I did it. I haven't really been out of my mother's view lately so I don't really have that many friends. *sighs* Maybe now that I am getting older mommy will let me talk to more children like me.

Well it's getting close to dinner time and mommy doesn't like when we eat late. She's got a schedule for everything. She said that if I eat all my food maybe I can go out and play after dinner.

I almost forgot about my journal. Mommy's been making sure I learn everything I need to know before I go out and meet any other children.
She wants me to be able to carry a conversation.

So far I've learned how to read, write, spell and speak. I wonder what else I could possiably have to learn. Though of course Mommy says that everyday you can learn something new. She's really smart. *giggles*

Right now Mommy is asleep so I have to be very quiet. Which means that this entry is complete. Now to clean my room before Mommy wakes up and has a fit. *scampers off*
