Akakios so badly wanted to use light screen again to lessen the damage he was taking from those cursed tendrils! But he learned his lesson when dealing with Encore. So instead he opted to paralyze his opponent throwing a lighter charge of electricity at the ghost.

Akakios danced out of the way as the tendrils didn't go far and Mephistopheles couldn't really move. He once more used Light Screen creating a bright light around the ghost.

Akakios pranced around some and then used another light screen. He was not happy to see more tendrils and could only imagine the upcoming beating he would get from them.

Oh yes the beating from the tendrils was horrible. It sent Akakios down to the ground and he fought to get up. He had only gotten his front legs under him (front half is up, bottom is still on the ground) when he used another light screen.

Mephistopheles formed a lance of darkness in his hands, and the tendrils bashed open a small hole in the light screen for it to pass through. The duskull through the lance with unerring accuracy at the downed zebstrika.

Akakios didn't get up any further than he had been when the lance struck. He fell down once more and didn't move to get up. He was beat. Doyle returned him to his ball and waved good-bye to Lenore before leaving.
