What aboot St. Patty's? I know it's fairly close to Valentine's but there's an event thread.. it's great to make use of those high traffic events biggrin

It'd be great to see a St. Patty's one.. but I think the whole fairy/leprechaun idea has been beaten like a dead horse. It would be cool to see a different twist, but just as fun. Like maybe an Irish pub as the setting and it is being taken over by mystical creatures.. only not just the typical fairies and sprites and brownies. There could be trolls and hags and even unicorns or something, lol. The bartenders and servers would be normal people trying to wonder what was going on in their pub only to find out at the end that a leprechaun was being his trickster self........... something like that would be fun, but I'm not sure if we have the people for an event.

I guess we'll see what the host decides.
And LOOLL trolls and hags.
Time-wise, they're not going to have as much time as others would, since we'll have a month starting from after the VDay event finishes to the time when they're up. But depends on what the host would want, I think it'll do. (:

Yay! Well I happen to know that St. Patty's is a favorite for Hikari so if you wanted any artsy fartsy help, or roleplaying assistance, I bet she'd be glad to help out ^_^

Hey, so I definitely can't host the St. Patty's event, but I'd love to participate and do art.
...and I don't know. Can I help in any way? I'm not part of the Host Club, but I didn't want it just Robayn and Spotted posting here ; A ;

Basically what Kez did for the VDay event.
You'll work with everyone who wants to help to create a vague-ish plot, and create a form or something for characters, get art and graphics if you want them (you probably won't have to pay anything, there are plenty of talented artists in this guild! <3) and create the thread. And contests and such, though you don't even really have to run them.
And people are there the whole way to help. (:
Even though it sounds like a big deal, it's not too much. It's really fun! (:
Although, it does require commitment and dedication. If you can only log in once per week, it probably isn't the best for you.

Yep. Setting a date isn't too hard though, you just have to make sure the holiday is either sometime in the time period or after. That way we attract the most people. (:
And it's nothing to be too nervous about, it's actually really good practice. (:
