Lance froze, completely short circuited. What did you DO when someone licked you?
"Mmmm," whoa, Yin was close. He still couldn't figure out why Yin actually cared about Rikki's well being right now, so he stopped trying in favor of staring moodily down at the monster as he examined yet another fabulous scar from a time in Rikki's life that he didn't want reminders of. And then there were impossibly long fingers gliding down his cheek and he let his eyes fall closed.
The slap. Way to bring up all the reminders of unpleasant things, Yin. He sucked his bottom lip in and worried it with his teeth, shrugging his shoulders as he did so. "It's not a big deal. You're forgiven... or, whatever." He lost himself in the boil's pale green eyes for a long time, before finally remember he was standing there in his boxers. "Uhm, shower?" he sputtered.

This was why Princess Eva was the best.
Rikki seemed to be doing a good job of just living in the moment, and that was that. Yin smiled, a flash of razor sharp teeth as he regarded the reaper. There, everything was past them now. They could just go on with their lives together from here on out. For just a moment they stood there in silence, Yin drifting in a sea of pumpkin orange, the color itself almost begging him to put forth his Fear.
Oh. Right. Shower.
"You go on ahead," he said, and reached out to turn on the water. "I will be right here waiting when you get out." Really, he would be waiting for the boil to emerge, streamlets of water dripping down him, the effects the cool air would have on him. Oh and Yin was going to wash out his shirt, but Rikki could just go without one until it dried.

Well if she was just going to curl up there and not move away, Lancelot was going to lay with Danny too. He curled up close to the other rabo out of spite and got comfortable, staring at her with a smug look.
For a moment Rikki just stood there awkwardly, as if waiting for Yin to turn around or something so he could shed that final barrier of clothing, but when it became obvious that Yin was going nowhere, Rikki just took a step back and shoved out of his last piece of clothing and stepped under the warm spray. If Yin got an eyeful in the process, well, Rikki wasn't going to pay for the therapy.
He was still very concerned about Danny. Most of him was itching to get back to her so he could continue to wait for her to come to. However, there was also a part of him that was practically moaning at the feel of hot water cascading down his body. He had obviously spent way too long under those blankets, and it felt like the shower was eroding away at at least a couple layers of worry. Not to mention grime. He fumbled for soap, grimacing at the frooty tooty scent that wafted up from the bottle and lathered up until he was covered in suds from head to toe. Yep, definitely practically moaning.
Showers were magical.

Princess Eva flipped one of her tails, but really...it was rather comfortable with him there. Not at all like the vaisels in her room that messed up her fur but just...relaxing together. Basking in the crown princess' presence. Yes, she could live with this.
She might have batted her eyes a bit.
Yin saw the nudity. Yin did not need theraphy. In fact he just scooped up the boxers, holding them gingerly, and then made his way to the sink with those two. Jeans could wait, but these needed washed. He had to scrub a bit to get a few stains out but he was rinsing out the clothing when Rikki's sultry moan filled his ears. "Rikki do you need any help in there?" He called, wondering if the boil was in pain or needed help reaching somewhere as he wrung out the clothing to dry it as best he could.

It was cute really. A sea of tails protecting Danny in united stubbornness. Picture perfect.
Rikki actually dropped the soap in surprise. He'd forgotten the monster was just on the other side of the flimsy barrier the shower provided. He eyed it warily and toed it to the front of the shower, out of his way. There wasn't a chance in hell he was going to pick that up. He briefly entertained the idea of snorting "Yes, I do need help" but he wasn't entirely certain that Yin fully grasped the finer points of sarcasm, and then they'd end up in an awkward entanglement of limbs and soap and just... no.
"No," he rasped. "No, nah, I'm good," he repeated. He made it a point to keep the rest of his shower as quiet as possible, and avoided dropping anything else, thankfully. Before long he was shoving his hand out into the arctic bathroom air and groping for a towel. Wait, did they even have towels in here with them? "s**t."

Yes Rikki, you are good.
Yin was passing by when a hand reached out, groping about for something to latch on to. Ah yes, a towel. Yin glanced around for a moment, thought about the fact that they were in a stranger's room, noted that his shirt was fairly clean, and quickly took it off to put it in the boil's hand. "Just use this for now, okay?"
That settled he went to get Rikki's pants. "Your undergarments are quite wet so you shall have to make do without them for now. That should not be that big of a problem, I am sure." Well, it probably would be a big problem, but not tremendously important. "Once you are finished we can go back to Miss Danny's room and you will dry quickly there."

Rikki hummed his thanks and went to dry off his face, but as he buried his face in the fabric he realized that it smelled exactly like Yin. He pulled it away from his face and eyed it. "Did you give me your shirt?" There was something a little awkward about drying off his naked body with the boil's shirt, but he had no other option. He "toweled" off quickly and slipped into his jeans sans boxers, before stepping out of the shower.
"Nah, no big problem. Laundry day doesn't happen often, so this isn't the first time I've gone commando." He shrugged easily and ran Yin's shirt through his dark hair. The locks were getting far longer than they had been since the original incident that led to his haircut, but he hadn't yet decided if he wanted to keep it short or grow it out. Until he made a decision, it would remain awkwardly handing in his eyes.
Shirtless and still damp, he was aware of how jacking cold it was in this room, and he gave a shiver as bodyparts tightened. "Back to Danny's room, now that I'm all squeaky clean?"

Yin nodded, catching a glimpse of the boil's body from a that had appeared when Rikki had stuck his hand out. He could see as the sheen of water was slowly wiped off of Rikki's body, oddly mesmerized as he realized it was his shirt, that had just been on his body, probably still warm from his body heat, being used by the boil so intimately. Laundry day for him would have to happen, but he would always have that memory, that much would not be washed away.
He reached up, moving aside a few strands of hair so that he could clearly see Rikki's eyes before glancing down. It was clear that the reaper was cold and Yin reached out to rub his arms a bit, trying to rekindle Rikki, bringing back the heat. "Yes, that would be for the best," He made sure to gather all of Rikki's things before leaving the bathroom, completely missing the knowing smirk the demon gave them when he walked out clearly displaying a pair of boxers draped over his arm, or the fact that he was shirtless. Or maybe it was just the fact that Yin had taken Rikki by the hand to lead him back to Miss Danny's room, not wanting the reaper to get lost on the way.

Okay, so Yin rubbing his arms actually felt pretty nice, and soothed away a bit of the tightness from the cold. He huffed out a breath of contentment, but he would really feel a lot better to get back to familiar territory.
While the shower had woken him up, serious movement such as heading back to Danny's dorm still felt like a task. Rikki let himself be led by the hand as if in a drunk stupor, clutching maybe a little too tightly as they moved past the unfamiliar surroundings and past the stranger of a demon who gave them a frankly creepy smirk.
What did the creepy smirk even mean. What even.
By the time the made it to Danny's dorm Rikki was practically leaning against Yin and dragging his feet, and he was just emotionally and mentally exhausted again. Though at least he didn't feel like a ball of sweat. That was nice. "Hey, um." He stopped them just before they could walk through the door and twisted at one of his earrings with his free hand. "So, thank you for this? I don't know why you're doing it, but I appreciate it. I know you don't like me."

It was kindof nice being strong for the other boil. He knew that Rikki could be strong, and he did not fault him for a momentary lapse of strength. If he had to bear the boil's full weight he could probably do so. Maybe he should have offered him a ride back to Danny's room, but having Rikki pressed up against his back meant that they would probably take even longer to get back.
But Rikki stopped him before he could actually enter. Not at all turned off Yin gave him his full attention, watching the little quirk, eyes focusing on the boil's nimble fingers. "Always," he murmured but he just kept talking. He frowned slightly. "I do not dislike you Rikki. I may not approve of all that you do, I just want you to make the right decisions. I hope that someday I may trust you unconditionally Rikki."

Rikki laughed, vulnerable and thin, and shrugged. He'd been doing a lot of shrugging tonight actually. Seemed like he just didn't know what to do around the boil. "You kind of sound like my parents. You can trust me though. I'm not going to hurt Danny, and I'm not going to intentionally hurt you, differences or none. That's not my M.O." He rubbed the back of his neck, looking down at his bare feet for a moment. Yeah that was enough sharing of feelings for one day.
He quickly stepped back and opened Danny's door, swinging wide and holding it open for Yin, though he itched to get back to her bed and curl up close again. "You think she'll wake up soon?"

Yin was beginning to wonder if Rikki's shoulders were bothering him. He was no great masseuse, but he could try to splay his hands across the boil's shoulders, using his fingers to manipulate the flesh and to give him release from all the built up tension. But this was a feels moment, and Yin could not interrupt that. He was thankfully that Rikki had poured out his feelings, they could understand one another better now.
Yin was...not used to anyone holding the door open for him. He was always holding the door open for someone else, and having the boil do it for him...well it was both embarrassing and flattering, and he should have been the one to open the door for Rikki but...this did not seem to be a good time to argue. They were in front of Miss Danny after all, and they needed to behave in case she remembered what they were doing while she was asleep. "She must," Yin said worriedly, glancing at the ghoul. "Everything will be fine Rikki, we shall make it through this together."

Mmm. Together. That actually sounded really nice. Amphi had been around, as well as a couple other friends, but he hadn't seen Roch, and without Danny he was just missing that pillar that made up his usual strength. Without really considering the undoubted awkwardness it would cause, Rikki drew Yin in to a quick hug that brought them skin to skin, flush together and sharing body heat.
Almost as soon as it started it was over, though Rikki could still feel Yin even as he crawled under a blanket that seemed relatively clean and ungross from his previous cocoon and peered up at the monster. The circle of life; Rikki became sweaty pile of blankets, Yin harassed Rikki into taking off his clothes, Rikki took a shower, Yin helped Rikki back into some of his clothes, Rikki reburrowed into the blankets.
Yeah, everything would be okay.
