Bhikkuni nodded her head. "Alright then." She said settling herself in a comfortable position to keep watch. She listened to the foal puzzling over why they couldn't be friends as they were. There was no shame in befriending a child. "I will remember you as well, Astraea of the forest." She watched as the filly said her parting words before vanishing into the shadows of the woods. "Farewell."
Bhikkuni rustled her wings and turned away from the forest. Astraea wanted the spirits to guide her home but Bhikkuni was not yet ready to return. She still had much to discover and many things to contemplate before she went back to her family. When she returned she wanted to have a new view of the world so she turned and continued out into the open field. She would stop to rest when she tired until then she would enjoy her journey into the world and into her soul.
