Jayden: Jayden touched down a moment after Tsunami, instantly snapping his wings to his sides knowing all too well how easily the wind would grab a hold of them and send him back into the air against his will. He had no desire to make a fool of himself, not this eve. No, he was already mad enough to make the very forest below his feet burn just for the hell of it. Hell, fire... funny! He smirked a little at that, even as he set off to the cave too, he knew the mare wouldn't be foolish enough to try and do anything with this weather around them. Before entering the cave he looked up at the sky... it was going to be raging for a while. Just his luck. He growled up at the sky, a clear challenge before stalking into the cave and looking at Tsunami. There was a determination on her face that he wanted to beat out of her, he wasn't in the mood for her quirks right now... while sometimes he might like her feisty, right now he wanted her submissive and quiet. Sometimes she seemed to have no intention of being. He snarled silently at her for a moment before speaking, "Does it matter? Just do as I say and I will make sure you get fed and fat with babe. Isn't that all you care about any way?" Their 'promise' was a fragile thing. So easily snapped and destroyed in Jayden's mind, if not for this constant physical reminders of what he wanted in his line he may very well have given up this venture long ago. The mare was starting to become more trouble than she was worth, and this storm was pissing him off. GRRR! He hated them. Gritting his teeth he shrugged and rolled his shoulder in an effort to relax, to bring back his hunger and his need, to remember his objective... it was that or let his skinwalker nature take over, something that wouldn't result in anything pretty. "We will stay here for a while. I promised you a rest, didn't I?" He left it at that, moving to the cave entrance and sitting in it to watch the rain and storm as it bubbled and rolled over head.

Tsunami: The nerve of him. Tsunami lowered her gaze as she glared daggers at the cave floor. Who did he think he was talking to her like that? Tsunami almost opened her mouth to really give it to Jayden before biting down hard on the inside of her cheek. The sudden lance of pain deflected her anger. Still it was almost tempting to charge the stallion for his frank appraisal of what her part was in the grand scheme of things. He was right though. As part of her agreement she did need to shape up. Perhaps it was just the manner in which Jayden had spoken that had riled her up.
Tsunami watched as Jayden turned his back to her as he stood at he mouth of the cave. Her rump still smarted from earlier as did now the inside of her mouth. She quickly eyed the rest of the cave before registering Jayden's last comment. She blinked slowly as she took to heart the chance to rest. It would have to do for now. Fighting against the storm had made her weary and she shuffled closer to Jayden. Her voice, when it finally rose against the howling winds, was soft, "Thank you."
Tsunami sighed before sinking to the ground a few feet back from Jayden's form. She knew that it would be unwise to totally drop her guard. Jayden had proven himself unpredictable in behavior.
