I bought the dirt when I was in Amerika and I started reading is right away. I remember when we were in the plane back I read it and my mom was sitting next to me and just then the picture of almost naked Nikki was there. And my mom was also a bit disgusted. But I thought it was just pretty funny...

I started reading it yesterday, I'm on page 36 or so. I have to finish reading it all in two weeks. sweatdrop Already I'm really enjoying it. Interesting how Nikki and Mick had met each other before the band was coming together and forgot about it. x3

*Le sigh* ;__; I had to mark out the nekkid picture because I'm reading it as our one free-choice book this year, non-fiction. My teacher had to look through it. I'm glad he didn't see "anything". *coughs* xDDD

That'd be an interesting book to read for school...and do a report on...hehe. Gawd, I miiiss my precious. gonk

Well I figured it would be a good excuse to get the book, and not get to many questions from my parents. And I was right.
crying I just read the chapter about Skylar today. I cried. I felt so bad for Vince and everyone having to deal with it. It's so messed up how she was taken from him..
On a lighter note, I'm going to put down some of my favourite little quotes from the book. o_o And I just realized they both have to do with Mick. xD

[From one of Vince's chapters] "I didn't know what to think of Mick. He was crazy. He'd sit across the club from me scribbling on a piece of paper. Then he'd bring it over and it would say something like, 'I'm going to kill you.' His face was all skruffy and unshaven, and he used to bite Tommy's n****e all the time. All Tommy would do was weakly swat him away and say, 'Cut that out, that chafes.'"(Page 62)

I was sitting in the car on my way to the beach reading this, and laughing. Maybe it's just my odd sense of humour? confused

Nikki: Uh, we'll save that for the book.
Tommy: [Laughs]
Nikki: We don't want to talk about that. No one cares anyway.
Voice-Over: Okay, but do they care when their former bandmate sustained sveral broken ribs and internal injuries while jet-skiiing a few weeks ago?
Nikki: [Laughs]
Mick: My heart goes out to you. [pauses] Hey, what happened to the coral reef, then?
Nikki: Oh, man. Hey, when three hundred pounds of blubber landed on the coral reef, you know there was some dust flying around.
Mick: [singing 'Girls Just Wanna Have Lunch'] ". . . how come they don't weigh a ton?"

Kinda harsh towards Vince, but funny as Hell. heart And it's just kinda random for Mick to break-out into song during an interview. domokun

Another quote from the book. This was a great way to end the book too.

[From Tommy's Last Chapter when he met up with Nikki at their kids school]
I walked down the steps and peered into the window of the classroom to make sure Brandon was making friends. And he was: He was sitting there laughing at something. I took another step foward to see what he was laughing at and saw Nikki's son, Decker, taking off his shirt. A whole new generation of Sixxes and Lees-and Neils and Marses-was about to be let loose on the world.

Aww, such a sweet way to end the whole depressing book. XD
