She blushed and looked away for a second.
"U...Unless you got injured down there, I think only need to look at your chest."
She was blushing. She was used to dealing with the fighters from her tribe, but he was a bit intimidating being both a warrior and him being almost twice her hieght when standing. He was still a bit scary sitting, for he was tall. She only ment to be polight as ask, since he was a stranger after all. She didn't know how excepting he was to just anyone working on him without permisson.

"Oh..." He said, shrugging and trying not to laugh as he remembered the two little girls after his bath. "Then yes, you can um... examine me." He turned so he was facing her, moving his chin up so the light hit his wound. He deliberately kept his voice soft, noting the hesitance in her manner.
"I was told the man I fought--" He stopped, trying to figure out how to put it. "His victims died because of this." He finished, motioning to his chest.

Once given to ok, she turned her attention back to him. She shook off the blush and went to work.
"Forgive me, this might hurt."
Being as gentle as one could with huge claws, she whiped a bit of the blood on her claw. She brought it close to her face and smelled it. Shaking her head at the scent, she knew that wasn't a good thing. It had a familar smell that concerned her. Taking a tentative lick, her thoughts were correct. It was a mixture of snake poison and some herbs to try to hide the smell. The other, masking smell also was playing a part, making the wound hurt less then it was, so that maybe the fighter would think less of it when it was really a worse cut then it felt. He had bled a good amount, she had to hurry. She placed her bag down and got to work. She wasted no time setting up a concotion to help. She had a solution ready and looked up at the bear beastial.
"This IS going to hurt. I need to stop the bleeding and the best way is to burn it. This should help numb the area, and prevent the rest of the fur from getting burned, but it's the best I cna do in a short time. ok?"

He nodded, not much liking the idea, but not surprised, either. Being burnt to cauterize wounds was just part and parcel with being a fighter. Then he dug in his pocket, pulling out a piece of leather and clamping it between his teeth before looking at her with a nod.

She nodded, admiering his resolve. She first placed on the numbing balm around the wound, but not directly on it. She tried to be as gentle as she could, though it stung a bit before it started to numb. After she made sure the whole area was surrounded so she would no burn off his fur, she put the second balm on the wound itself. The bleeding made it a bit harder, but she managed. Then she nodded her head and brought up a match. Striking it, the match head lit and she touched it to the second balm. Quickly, the whole solution lit on fire. She hoped the balm dulled most of it, but being set on fire wasn't the most pleasant experiences. She was no stranger to it either as this was a common method back home for sever cuts. Though the fire didn't last more then a second or two, it did it's job. Taking a needle, she went to work sewing the wound back up while the numbing stuff was still in effect. She kept glancing up at him to make sure he was still conscious thought the whole manner. If he fainted, it would be a bad thing. So she was keeping track on his state.
Putting in the last few stitches, she double checked her work before finished it off.
"There, I would recomend that you try not to fight again today if you can help it. If you do have to fight again, it's up to you to prevent that from opening. The burning balm not only helped seal it, but it also have a bit of a counter agent against the poison that was on the blade. Though it also is a bit up to your imunity system to battle the rest of it. I don't have any imediant cure for it, though it's not fatal now. But you might get dizzy if you stress yourself to much.'

He nodded, forcing his jaw to unhinge and pulling the leather out. His fangs had cut through. Then he looked down, feeling a little nausous when he saw the red, blistered looking flesh, and the slightly charred fur. "Thank you." He said softly, not getting up for a second.
Miranda nodded, frowning slightly and taking a step forward. "If we get him something to eat will he be able to fight sooner?"

Spade felt back that she could not have come up with a easier treatment then the one she just did. It worked, but it wasn't very pleasent.
"I... am sorry I couldn't have made it any easier for you.."
She turned at the sound of the woman behind her. She looked up at the woman, looking her over.
"As a healer, I would advise against it if he can help it. The poison isn't fatal now, but that might effect his performence. I don't have anything on me at the moment that might be able to countact that side effect at the moment, so I don't suggest he fights again till atleast tommorrow. Food might get a bit more of his strength back, but it's not going to ahve him up to 100%."
To many times did she watch the guards in her tribe do stupid things while still hurt. Though she knew that most, if they are stubborn enough are to stupid to listen. Then again, most of them were to stupid to die as well. She started to pack up the things she used when she turned her attention back to the bear beastial.
"The stuff still on you fur simply washes out with water, but be gentle. The thread I used is strong, but a sharp claw could cut it open. Also, here."
She got out another balm. She handed towards him.
"This should prevent to much pain around the area and prevent infection along with the stuff already on there now."

He nodded, taking the balm. "I won't be fighting until the day after tomorrow." He said calmly, his words booking no argument. "I have things I need to do." Then he stood, grunting as he felt his balance waver slightly, but catching himself easily. He blinked slightly as Miranda walked over, slipping an arm around his waist.
"We'll feed you, and you'll get some sleep." She told him calmly. "That was an excellent fight." She told him, complimenting him easily. He nodded, then turned to the healer.
"I thank you." He said before walking away, using Miranda only to keep his balance. She was showing her feminine side, finally. He appreciated it.

Spade watched the woman support him and compliment him for the fight he had won. Well, maybe she wasn't such a bad person after all, like she had thought. She watched them walk away and then finished cleaning up.
"I wonder what his name was... Oh well, If I come back, I am sure to find it out. I better get packed up and going, it's getting a bit late."
She finshied cleaning up and made sure to collect some blood off the ground to study. Maybe she could come up with something better later. In case someone else ran across that same guy. She botteled it, and placed it in her bag before she swung it over her shoulder and moved out of the arena.

Tessa rose and bowed formally to Alcion. "No apologies necessary, Milord. My voice is feeling much better after a hot cup of tea and some rest. I thank you for your most gracious concern." She smiled and straightened, waiting for the elf to sit first.
"You have missed an early fight, Lord Alcion, a cat bestial and a bear bestial. The bear, whom I've actually had the pleasure of meeting in the marketplace, was victorious. Although the felinid was most dishonorable and attacked him again after clearly yielding. I believe it may inspire me to write a song regarding honor in combat. If that would please my Lord, of course."
She looked to the elf deferential as the cheers and shouts rose in the air for the entry of the next combatants.

"I believe this would be a good idea... And if we see him again, maybe you should sing it to him ? Im sure he'll be happy to hear it." He gave a warm smile, setting the pad of paper on his knees.
"I was in town with miss Spade, I do believe you have met her as well, or so she told me... She wanted to mix up something for your voice, since she was worried about you... but since you're feeling better, I will probably have to ask her if it doesn't lose its qualities with time... I helped her, and well... I forgot the time." He gave a sheepish smile.

Alcion never ceased to amaze Tessa, and it took her a moment to collect herself. His father would never have associated with a bestial, likely not even for healing. She smiled, controlling the expression carefully.
"Ah yes, Spade seemed a kindly sort. It was nice of her to offer. If she has any concoctions that would keep well and help sooth my throat after a performance I would be most grateful, Milord."

"Well, she made one earlier." He said, unhooking the vial from his belt, and giving it to her. "And she said that if you needed more, she could make them. And yes, she is very kind... I wish I had the time to finish that sketch before I gave it to her. Ah, but maybe I will be able to draw her again before the festival is over... Something truly worthy of her kindness."
He was already sketching the fighters while he spoke, his eyes at the scene and the paper, yet most of his attention was to Tessa still.

The bard lifted the vial to examine it's contents in the light reaching the box through the overhang. "Interesting...she seems most skilled. She spoke to me a bit of her tribe and how they leave beneath ground. Fascinating stuff really. I think I'd go a bit mad below the earth for any extended period, myself really."
She wrapped the vial in some fabric and laid it carefully into her pack. Her eyes then flitted to the combat going on below. "This is a most interesting sporting event, Milord. I wonder how long an arena fighter's typical lifespan is. It must be nervewracking to never know if on any given day you might be slain within these walls for someone's entertainment."

He grinned a bit at the thought. "I should have thought... But I guess it isn't weird when you lived there all your life... Like living on the ground is normal for us."
"It must be... I would prefer combats where killing wouldn't be allowed, but not many people seem to think the way I do." He frowned a bit at the thought, the piece of graphite running all over the paper to place shadows and refine the sketch.
"...Life should be respected, this is my philosophy... It doesn't matter if it is the life of the richest noble, or the life on an area fighter... Ah, but they say I am just a dreamer. Maybe I am..."
