Tyeth of N'mol of Benden, Tyeth offered in return to Scarath's offer of name and title, also allowing others to hear the message. It will be interesting to work alongside all of you. He looked at the Malvren dragons, hints of sorrow coloring his eyes. If Suunath has not said it already, we regret the loss of your home as much as ours. When the time comes to reclaim them, I hope that we will be able to work together to do so and thus thoroughly rout the usurpers. He was unaware of Moriath's own sympathies on the subject as she was speaking to Suunath, but addressed his thoughts to both Moriath and Calanoth, though he kept his words open for the other dragons present as well. No sense in leaving out any of the ranking dragons he would be working with.

N'mol stared at Kleos for a moment when she took issue with D'lin's careful order of names and felt an uncomfortable flip in his stomach. Oh. She was one of those female riders. He likely should have realized that considering she rode one of the runt colors and was a female Wingleader. Not that he'd ever had an example of a female Wingleader to base any opinions off of, but if this was how they would be, it was just another clear indicator that Bronzeriders were the imminently suitable choice for positions of leadership.

However, she was still speaking and N'mol nodded to her acceptance of his offer. Maybe she was simply used to people undervaluing her based on a trait, in this case her gender. Of course, he doubted she or her fellow Malvren Wingleader, both being slightly older, hadn't noted and judged him for his age. He would just have to show them better when the time came.

The other Malvren Wingleader said nothing, and N'mol doubted D'lin or S'kor would object. N'mol didn't look at Kindra. He could sense the anger radiating off of her and knew that if she was hiding it, it was only barely. He was glad he hadn't underestimated her control over her tongue, though.

With Kleo's words, D'lin was once more reminded of how difficult it was to keep everyone happy. Difficult being the nicer way of saying impossible of course. Narisa's silent support was nice to have, reminding him that while it was impossible to make everyone happy it was at least possible to try and make the majority happy - he'd have to remember to thank her later.

"My Apologies Wingleader" D'lin responded to Kleo's "I was taught at a young age to treat women with respect and old habits die hard it seems. I did not mean to cause offense, I invited you here due to your station and duties after all" He told her in a voice that he strove to keep diplomatic and with a smile he hoped would smooth over any further issues. While he was willing to apologize for his unintentional blunder, and willing to put up with a little bit of political nonsense - his patience only went so far and he certainly wasn't going to let the rest of them push him around while he danced about to whatever tune they wanted to play. Getting offended for being introduced as a women - which she was - seemed rather silly to him when they were for the most part all wingleaders and all ranked equally. Perhaps she was simply overly sensitive to this due to current circumstances and that he could certainly understand, they were all a little bit more on edge then normal.

N'mol's offer to fly last was surprising in a way and by the look Kindra was shooting him it seemed to be a surprise to her as well. He did not envy him after this meeting was through that was for sure. "Very well..Benden offers to take the last position in the rotation, that leaves the rest of us to draw numbers, we'll order ourselves from lowest number to highest - and report with our wings to whomever is leading at each fall...Agreed?" Glancing around him, he didn't think there would be any objections since they had already pretty much agreed to the plan a few moments ago and so he turned to the goldriders "Narisa,Kindra..since you two do not fly in the wings would you mind overseeing the number draw?"

Pondering for a few moment Plexith considered Scarath's question even as he huffed in amusement and appreciation to Cepheiths comments 'I do not yet know..perhaps we can fence in any nosy humans with our tails' He suggested in a playful manner. It was better he thought to keep things light hearted - even if that Malvren bronze was lounging over there trying to get all the attention. 'We are well Sunnath, it is good to see you again' He replyed to the Benden golds question.

Suunath was amused, she had no ill will towards the .... unusual colors prevalent in the other weyrs, she'd grown used to seeing them in Trine and the novelty of them had already worn off, for her at least, she knew Kindra didn't feel the same but was proud of her rider for holding her tongue on the matter of a Crimson Wingleader. She chose to pass over the comment by the Crimson being aware of her color, it didn't really matter anyway, not at the moment. "Thank you, i am sorry you have also been displaced for the moment" she said, her tone tinged with the sadness of not only losing her home but the disappearance of her Twin who was likely trapped at Benden, the distance too great for any contact between the sisters "Of course we will regain our homes Moriath, it will just take time" she said, determined and, like Moriath, refusing to admit their homes were lost for good. Benden was HER Weyr, she would return there.

When Cepheith spoke to her Suunath smiled, or that's the feeling she gave off, she liked the older Gold, it was good to have someone older of your own color to give you advice and support as she hadn't got, except from her Twin, at Benden, only the advice from a Bronzerider and his dragon so it was a learning experience for the young Gold. "it is good to be here Cepheith, we are well, Mine isn't limping nearly as much today though she isn't happy about something that has been said in there" She was amused, she guessed it was something to do with N'mol, or perhaps the Crimson's rider, Suunath wuld let Tyeth's deal with it, Kindra was too easily frustrated lately, lingering onto things she shouldn't and Tyeth's was good at helping calm her down.

She rumbled to Plexith softly, the Bronze was always at the very least, respectful, even if some of his opinions she didn't share, especially the ones about the Whers, granted some were bad but if they shunned those that had helped, were they not just making a rod for their own backs and giving them cause to rethink their alliances if the dragons at least didn't show them the respect for their aid, that they deserved. "and you Plexith, You and Yours are doing well i trust? it must be hard for Yours to have so many new faces to be in charge of."

((Rev, I hope you don't mind that I had Narisa initiate the handing out of numbers ;__; <33 ))

Narisa hoped this wouldn't be a sign of the meeting itself heading downhill. But she had to give D'lin credit for his attempt at smoothing things over with Wingleader Kleos. She made a mental note to make sure and address everyone - at least those that had showed up to the meeting today - by their status as a Wingleader.

Hearing N'mol's offer, Narisa found it a little surprising, but judging by the look Kindra was giving him, she was equally surprised. Interesting. Why would N'mol make such a decision without informing her? Narisa had a feeling there were going to be some words shared between those two after this. Hopefully it wouldn't make them sour towards anyone else. Or put them in a mood. Shards, they really didn't need any of that right now. Which had her flicking a glance towards the man that had introduced himself as Wingleader Z'fer. He'd been silent but his expression was one that made her uneasy. Why did Malvren seem to feel so...defensive? She frowned slightly, glancing back towards D'lin as he spoke. Maybe she'd speak with him later about that. See if he had any thoughts about it.

She blinked at D'lin and a warm smile slid across her lips. "Of course, if Kindra doesn't mind either." Narisa looked towards her fellow goldrider with the same warm smile. Hopefully she could put aside her...unhappiness?...at N'mol long enough to assist in this task. "Give us just a moment or two to get the numbers ready to be drawn." Stepping away from D'lin and S'kor, she moved towards a table with some refreshments set along it, emptying out a bowl big enough to put the numbers to be drawn in. Of course the numbers had to be quickly scrawled out and torn into small enough pieces to make the drawing fair enough.

Numbers ready, Narisa offered Kindra a faint smile, taking the bowl and approaching the two Malvren Wingleaders first, a smile directed at each of them. "Wingleader Kleos, Z'fer. If you wouldn't mind drawing a number." She waited for each one to take a number in turn, then stepped over to D'lin and offered him the same opportunity.

Cepheith snickered at Plexith, swishing her tail. That is an amusing thought. I rather like it! She turned her gaze towards Suunath as she bespoke her and rumbled kindly. I am glad to hear she is doing better. Mine seems concerned about yours and the meeting itself. Humans! They let such little things get to them. She tilted her head in curious - if mischievous - thought. I wonder if Ours would be terribly upset if we stuck our noses in there? Cepheith idly wondered to Plexith and Scarath. Especially if things got...out of hand. Not that they seemed to be heading in that direction. Which was a good thing, she supposed.

Kleos' face relaxed somewhat and she made a little bow to D'lin in the wake of his apology. "It is already forgotten sir," she said in her usual formal clipped tones.

And then the gold riders set about sorting out the numbering; she couldn't argue with their relative impartiality, and had to confess that the order meant little enough in the end anyway. Still, if they had just been trying to decide who would lead first she imagined there would have been dissent from at least one party... possibly from herself; the last couple of weeks had shown her that she could easily fail to live up to her own ideals. Nobility was so easily tarnished.

As the Trine gold rider approached her with the bowl Kleos smiled brightly; she knew she stood no chance given the colour Narisa rode, but that didn't mean she shouldn't be chivalrous! "Thank you, my lady," she said, bowing deeply as she selected a number. Straightening back up showed it to her fellows and then stepped back to let the next have their turn.
