Otto's eyes rolled into the back of his head, letting go of Tenya's hand. Tenya stared at Rue, perplexed. And then smiled, because she didn't know how to react to Rue's attitude. Not yet. She'd punch her later if she got confused enough. Yeah, that sounded like a plan. The small blonde huffed and climbed onto the counter, sitting and crossing his arms on top of his knees. "Sure.. cook whatever. I ain't picky." He said to Ofelia. It looked like he had no intention of helping. Which might be best. The mysterious figure's name was lost to the clatter of the door opening. "Scrambled eggs?" He muttered, raising a brow. No.. he didn't hear him right. The stunned Moon hunter was stared at until he left. What was his problem? Lunatics, the lot of them. "Fine fine, whatever, dude." Otto said to the figure, "Just like... sit n' chill... er..." Right, his language was quite different. "Um... siddown and... observe." The southern boy said the word with some strain.

Rue released Tenya's shoulder once Otto sat down, pretty sure that this dropbear wouldn't be smart enough to wander on her own. If Ofelia chose to stay here Rue was certain to stay, only because Ofelia was to stupid to be left to her own devices, so her words were that came next were lax and biting. "Hmm, I do rather like the sight of people on their knees. A nice position for you." The fact that a person had opened the door to the kitchen and asked for eggs or something was completely ignored. Humans were somewhat below her watch for now, only the people in this room mattered.
Ofelia on the other hand wondered if she should make some scrambled eggs and then try to hunt that hunter down and give them whatever it was they wanted. It would have been rude for her to hog the kitchen like this all the time and not share with anyone, right? Of course she hadn't even seen what they looked like so she was wasting her time as usual. Way to go Ofelia. The next thing that caught her attention though was the kneeling, as Rue mentioned, and the words of serenity and other things. "Ah really, really wish ya'd jus' tell us yer name, or else Ah'mma have ta make one up fer ya. Ah like given nicknames though so no real loss fer me, but Ah dunno if ya'd feel the same 'bout whatever Ah toss yer way."
She already had a few things in mind, like Sir Creepsalot, McCreepierton, and BigHelmetDude. None of those she said aloud, hopefully, because they were just works in progress. "If yer here though jus' ta observe why not give me a hand then? Tenya, ya can help too if ya wanna but Rue - " Rue glared, Ofelia stopped there. "Nnnm, yeah. Ah'm gonna jus' make some . . . grilled cheese? Everyone okay wit' eatin' that?" God the kitchen was too awkward and creepy, she wanted to cry.

"Arrogance is not befitting of one so young," the figure warned to Rue, moving back up to indeed sit down and observe, "It would do you well to remember that there are many above both your power and age that even with a mere fraction of their ability could deliver you forcefully complacent. It is a lesson, not a warning, an ancient tall of how arrogance befell even the greatest of Reapers." He was calm however, as he seated himself on the bar chair as statuesque as the chair itself. "Will we head now to cull some of this grilled cheese and thus deliver them to the kitchens to be prepared? Where have you the kitchen hands and serving staff?"
Thankfully observation was one of those things he was really good at .

Otto kind of wanted to see the cosplayer lay it on the arrogant Rue. He wasn't about to, simply because it was none of his business. He didn't know Ofelia well enough to really give a damn. Hell, he barely lifted a finger for those he kind of liked. "Yeah yeah, make whatever." Otto said with a wave of his hand. Tenya bounced on her heels. "I'll help!" She squealed to Ofelia. "What do I do?"Otto's icy gaze fell to the cosplayer once more, a brow raised high. Serving staff? Oh brother... "Dude.. we need to liked.. fend for ourselves here. Ain't no fancy wenches to serve us nothin'." Except maybe pain. The serving of pain and suffering was a part of Hunter life. "If yer wantin' somethin', ya gotta get it your damn self."

"Wash yer hands first." Ofelia was a stickler about cleanliness in her kitchen, at least when it came to the part about handling food. She could ignore Otto and Rue and Rue's interactions with the stranger when she focused on the food, so she ushered Tenya over to the sink and turned the tap on, sudding up her hands and then rinsing them off after a good minute of scrubbing. She left the water on for Tenya to follow suite and then went back over to a counter where she could have sworn she saw bread earlier. "Ah'mma have ya butter the bread and put on the cheese, leave the stove work ta me. Also Rue dun -"
Rue turned and lashed a hand out at Ofelia, her upset at being told off by this no account stranger turning itself into a strike at her partner. The weapon's hand caught the teen on the cheek and startled her, nothing too strong, but she did stagger back a bit and drop whatever it was she was going to say. "Oh dear, my bad. I didn't think you were going to walk into my hand like that, hick. Look out where you're going." Ofelia touched the tender spot on her face and mumbled out an apology before moving on towards the stove, prompting Rue to glare before switching her gaze elsewhere.
She just needed to ignore it, Rue wouldn't act out too badly in front of strangers. Not with one saying he was stronger, almost threatening her. Even Rue, as horrible as she was, had limits. "Otto is correct though, stranger, we do not have kitchen hands here though Ofelia seems to enjoy spending her time here making food for others. No one really ever says thanks but I'm certain she doesn't mind."
" . . .Ah do like cookin' fer others. An' Mr. Mysterious guy, we dun reall cull grilled cheese - ya make it by grillin' cheese an' bread on a stove." It was hard to explain food to people; Ofelia was finding out slowly. "Otto, do ya wanna have soup too?" Grilled cheese wasn't really complete without tomato soup in her own opinion.

In a flash as Rue lashed out, the knight in shining armour grabbed a hold of the golem's wrist. For a second, he seemed as surprised as the assailant as he stared at his hand with an odd mixture of awe and finally, understanding. "Fair lady," he began, still holding up her wrist, "It is uncouth for one of your nature to strike out against the hand that wields you. Consider the consequences of your bond when you, like I, once again resume our rightful roles as weapons and nothing more."
Making sure that Rue was not planning to strike Ofelia again, he listened carefully. "Ah! A warrior that partakes in any task, times have indeed changed, I marvel your spirit and youth, this day is full of fathomless surprises! Now, direct me to where the washing basin may be so I may wash these soiled hands of mine."

Well. Finally someone did something about the weapon. Cause Otto sure wasn't gunna. Tenya breathed a sigh of relief. She didn't understand why Ofelia's weapon was so mean to her. Not at all. Weren't weapon and wielder supposed to have a bond? Maybe it was just her. Or maybe Ofelia liked it rough, which in that case she'd best mind her tongue. Otto's face remained unreadable, but his answer was clear. "Tomato soup." He said almost too quickly. His stomach was already rumbling in anticipation. Tenya in the meantime, ashed her hands in the sink. "Oh, Mr. Metal Man, C'mere!" With still wet hands, she skipped toward the golem, dragging him toward the sink. "Let's scrub a dub dub those hands of yours, mister!" She said in a sing-song voice, getting the ancient weapon all cleaned up.

Ofelia watched from where she was setting up the stove at the interactions between the man and Rue, how he grabbed her arm so it wouldn't happen again, and although she mouthed thank you in his direction the words rang hollow. Rue would want revenge for being humiliated like that and Ofelia was certain she was going to need to stay in a place with a lot of people for a while. Or else she was just going to see how much pain she could handle when she didn't fight back. She just pressed on anyway, glad to see Tenya so excited.
"Tomoato soup it is then! An' once yer done washin' yer hands, why not help one 'nother out? Like Tenya, ya put the butter on one side an' stuff, and Mr. shinyhead ya place the cheese? Ah'll man the pan."
Rue wasn't mentioned and Ofelia took care of that. The weapon had moved towards the door and was watching, her arms crossed as she looked at the trio. The words the stranger said meant next to nothing to her, Ofelia was hers to do with as she pleased. It wasn't like the red-headed had enough guts to try anything against her weapon - she depended on Rue to keep her alive and help her out. If anything Rue could do whatever she wanted and Ofelia would just take it. That was the nature of their relationship. "You know nothing of us old man, and you'd do well to keep it that way." She finally spoke, though the hiss in her words was barely audible. Ofelia still shuddered though.

"Indeed", Sir Tin man agreed even as his hands were cleaned, "My knowledge of the present is clouded, which is why I seek to observe, studiously, and gain insight in those I vow to protect. I may know very little about one personally, but my knowledge of those of your nature is overly plentiful."
He nodded to both Otto and Ofie. "May I beseech your names so I may remember the kindness I have recieved today? Your faces are a relieving contrast from those I normally apprehend."

Tenya hummed a happy song, buttering bread and sliding them over to Tin Man to put the cheese on. Otto groaned. "Dude, you asked our names already." He said with a huff. "Ain't giving my name to someone who don't bother remembering it.""My name is Tenya~" Tenya said with a giggle. It seemed that she forgot she'd given her name, or she didn't care if she did or not.

Ofelia was turning the stove on, totally happy to ignore Rue (who seemed more than content to leave the room now that her way wasn't being had), and she grinned over at the man and Tenya as they worked. "Ah'm Ofelia, but ya can call me 'Ofie'. Most people here do so by all means go fer it." She left out Rue's name because well, Rue. She winked at the Tin Min, though winking looked like blinking so it was awkward.
Tomato soup would be best canned, right? She. . .actually didn't know how to make many soups from scratch that would be something she needed to improve quickly in order to say she could conquer the entire culinary market. She found a can and opened it, pouring it into a pot on the stove. " . . . .Tenya, can ya eat actual food? Ah've never really asked Rue cause, well. . . .Rue. Also the pan should be hot by now, if y'all got some ready hand over an' we'll get started. Otto gets first sammich."
Annnnd she said his name all sneaky. Go Ofie go!

"There is a simple earthbound name young warrior, and then there is your true names, your titles, your position of power. With your true names, your titles, those who grasp them can do terrible things, and yet those who protect will always vow by it. Now call out your true names!"
It seemed the visitor had forgotten entirely about those cheese sandwiches in his excitement.

"True names?" Otto blinked, looking to tenya for help. She shrugged and looped a finger around her temple a few times in the universal signal for 'Dat dude is CRAY!'"Uhhh... you lost me, man." Title of power? Otto hoped to God he wasn't just dumb, and that this guy was just nuts. He really... really hoped he wasn't dumb. "How bout you give me an example."In the mean time, Tenya did the work Tin Man wasn't.

"Oh, ya mean our titles? Hmmm, well Ah'm a Sun Hunter, but jus' an intermedi - Tenya holy crap that is a lotta butter are ya tryin' ta clog an artery or sommin' gimmie that." Ofelia reached over and took one of the sandwiches, placing it down on the pan's surface and pressing it lightly with a spatula. This one for Otto, then maybe one for her next. She didn't want to burn it badly because Otto seemed a kid to be a picky eater over everything but she didn't want it so undercooked it wasn't even slightly grilled.
Otto was making life hard and all he was doing was sulking in a chair not answering Creepy Dude's questions. How lamecake.
Ofelia thought more on what he was saying though. "Yanno, when Ah was little Ah used to think mah name was sommin' else. Sometimes Ah heard the people in the barn sayin' sommin' but Ah jus' ignored it - do ya think that could be whatyer talkin' 'bout?" What had they called her? She needed to think on it and cooking gave her lots of time to think.

His attention was briefly shifted by the instructional means of how to cook a grilled cheese sandwich, and the weapons golem only regarded Otto's cryptic comment after one sandwich had been completely turned. Apparently lightly browned toast was absolutely fascinating.
"Allow me to indeed give you an example. You are of your name and given rank, but also of your accomplishments, of your reason for obtaining such title. Now, heed my rank," Again a shift in posture, "For I am the reptacle of the Great King, the vessel of the legendary knights, the reptacle of Avalon reformed, the protector and herald of light! Fear not my presence as I seek to only observe and call me by my given name-"
- There was a light crackle of the toast as it buttered up on the other side nicely-
-"Excalibur!"
