Peter Whitney Pleasant patina pulls apart a holy copper shrine Like gently creeping mossy claws, scarring all divine. "Is it somehow critical to meet my roommate. We're going to be sleeping in the same room together, not having fruity little tea parties and sharing clothes," Peter said, looking up at Robin, squinting his eyes a bit. "Who are you again?"
He really did need to start listening to people properly. What was her name? Rob...ert? Rob...something, anyway.
Peter finally gave up on the cookies and took to sipping his coffee instead, trying to cover up the taste of sugar and chocolate. These music students were kind of weird. Maybe he should have chosen Astronomy. He really didn't have a preference and had just kind of closed his eyes and picked one.
Ah well. At least that creepy glasses wearing man wasn't around. That was something to be happy about.
((It's been five days so I'm posting again. Also, how does Robin know Peter used to be homeless? LoL))

Penelope

Penelope lugged her suitcases, one rolling suitcase handle in each hand, a smaller bag under each arm, and a small purse like satchel in her teeth, into the common room. She had arrived... slightly late as it were, missed the beginning of orientation by a longshot. She hadn't been expecting there to be people in the common rooms though... that was a bit of a surprise, she had thought that they would all be... out and about or something, doing something... orientationish. In truth, it was a rather awkward scene to walk into. Besides a few students having a conversation near a couple of sofas, no one seemed to be interacting, or even acknowledging the existence of their dorm mates, at all. The awkwardness was made even more uncomfortable by the fact that Penelope was suddenly very embarrassed by the amount of luggage she had brought, and laden with the feeling that her skirt was abruptly a few inches too short. To top it off... she realized that she didn't remember seeing which common room this was... was it the music departments? She wasn't entirely sure...
"...Is-" She started to say, but the satchel she had been hanging onto with her mouth fell as soon as she started talking, she tried to catch it, reaching out with her right hand, but ended up dropping the bag underneath her arm and one of the suitcases trailing behind her, AND missing the falling satchel, which hit the floor with a soft thump.
"Er..." She blushed. "Is this the... the music department? I mean, the music department dorm. I mean, the dormitory for... for music department students...."

Robin Skelton I'm not calling you a liar Just don't lie to me Robin couldn't help but glare at Peter. Tea parties? Sharing clothes? This guy was going to scare everybody in the dorm away, roommate included! If she even sees one guy prancing around the common room, tea cup in hand and singing to Liberaci, she was going toss him out the window. Or run screaming. Either one worked. And was it just her or was he glaring up at her? How rude! She crouched down and stared back at him. It wasn't that hard to forget her name, since it's a simple two-syllable word. "Rah-bihn," she enunciated slowly while glancing at the couch. One pillow seemed out of place. A quick minute later, the couch was straightened to her liking and she returned to her position. "I'm part of the Student Council. And you are...?" I'm not calling you a thief Just don't steal from me She heard the tapping of keyboard keys and looked up to see someone else was here, all the way across the room working on a laptop. Another boy! Did that mean Yukiharu and Robin were the only girls here? Yukiharu aside, she'd be taking care of a dormfull of monkeys! But the boy on the laptop looked like he could help her with her computer problem. Standing and straightening her skirt, she started to ask something when she heard a small thud behind her. A red-haired girl stood in the doorway asking if this was the music dorm. I'm not calling you a ghost Just stop haunting me "Yes, yes it is!" Robin practically started to skip in joy towards the newcomer. Another girl in the dorm! What luck!! "You're in the right place. Need any help?" She quickly picked up the satchel and smiled at the girl.

“ I'll slap you so f*cking hard it'll feel like you kissed a f*cking freight train... ” XXXDamyen ReedXXX ☆ XXTranscending TimeXX ☆ XXEternal LifeXX xXxAfter a little mental debate and listening to the conversation circulating the room, the dark haired male saved the file and powered down his laptop. Damyen then set the laptop against the wall as he started a debate over this guy that spoke of tea parties and exchanging clothes. As if, the little... Tall... The weirdo! He couldn't exactly call him little, but big would insinuate he was one of the six levels of fat and that wasn't all that true. Oh well. He'd just be the weirdo for now. That is until he actually learned his name. Oh well. So long as nobody deliberately tried to tick him off, he'd be alright. xXxStanding up, he briefly glanced at the others before moving around the room, still staying as far away from the crowd as was possible, to the female who seemed to wonder if this was the Music Students dormitory. Picking up the other luggage he dropped, he flashed a rather cheerful smile at the girl while briefly waving a couple of fingers at the girl who'd obviously broken her name down to stupid level for the other boy. Thinking of what to say for a brief moment, he shifted his gaze away from the two girls for a moment. Well it'd be better to say something rather than nothing, no matter how stupid it was. xXx“Would you like help carrying your stuff to your dorm room?” he finally asked lightly while shifting his eyes lined in black kohl to the girl who was having trouble with her luggage. He then blinked and glanced briefly at Robin before adding, “That is, if it's alright for a boy to help a girl bring her luggage to her dorm? Some schools are picky about separating the genders after all.” The way he stated it made it seem like he was asking Robin if it'd be alright helping the girl with her things she was so obviously having trouble with. Fortunately, his day wasn't going all bad so he wasn't in a mood that screamed "stay away or I'll shank you with my many pocketknives!". He was actually in a friendly mood minus his irritation at his step-parents for wanting to walk him to his dorm. At least they hadn't succeeded in doing so. That would've been embarrassing, especially since they didn't look anything like him.

Peter Whitney Pleasant patina pulls apart a holy copper shrine Like gently creeping mossy claws, scarring all divine.
Peter tuned out again as Robin was talking, letting out a tongue curling yawn as he stretched. He managed to catch the "Rob" part and decided he'd just call her that. It was close enough to...whatever her full name was. She asked who he was, but ran off beffore he could answer her. Not that he cared, particularly. Introductions were pointless--it wasn't like he was here to make friends. He didn't even understand the point of friends except that they sometimes gave you food.
As they were talking, another girl with mousy brown hair came in, threw her luggage down and proceeded to blush and blubber about being in the music department. Peter just leaned against the back of the sofa and sized up her legs.
He approved of the girl's uniform. Short skirts were definitely a fashion choice he could get on board with--not for himself, of course. Or any guy. Beefy, hairy legs were not his thing at all.
He watched the scene in front of him as it unfolded, his expression slowly melting into bored apathy. Why was everyone so...horrifically mundane? Their conversations were distressingly robotic. Introductions, offers to carry luggage. He wanted to scream 'FIRE' at the top of his lungs just so something interesting would happen. He wondered if everyone in the school was so vapid and dull.
Ugh.
He wanted a nap.
((No big deal--I just was wondering about the thought process. XD ))All the things you think you value, including the gift of life Will slowly, gently fall apart, 'til the world is right.

Penelope

The enthusiastic greeting had come as a bit of a surprise. Not that Penelope was necessarily not expecting a greeting of some sort. Just maybe not one that enthusiastic. Before she had a chance to respond, the seemingly excited girl had already picked up one of the bags she had dropped, the one that's handle had been clenched in her mouth. She started to panic, thinking about the other girl's reaction to a sudden, very moist sensation of saturated saliva on the satchels handle, but before she could manage to collect her thoughts into a warning sentence, another student approached, and also began picking up her dropped bags. He seemed nice enough, but all the sudden attention was not doing good things to Penelope's nerves. She smiled nervously as her thoughts scrambled around in circles attempting to figure out what the acceptable thing to do next was. Obviously it was her turn to say something, but actually doing so would be easier said than done.
"Ah... well um, I suppose some help would be... it would be appreciated yes... I mean, you don't have to! If you don't ah, if you don't want, but then why would you have, well, have asked if you didn't er... want to? I mean, I suppose you might have just out of chival... out of politeness but... I'm Penelope." She said, her voice quaking nervously. She felt like her accent (which was indeed quite soft and unobtrusive) made her sound utterly ridiculous and stuck up, so to show that she wasn't, she extended a hand to shake... her left hand, which proceeded to cause her to drop the remainders of her luggage. Plus, she hadn't been entirely sure who to extend her hand to first, so she just sort of stuck it out in between her two new acquaintances, moving it over to Daymen after suddenly realizing how stupid this looked and blushing all over again over the total mess she seemed to be making.
The last thing she had wanted was to draw attention to herself, but of course that was the first thing that ended up happening. And her skirt literally felt like it was shrinking.

When comes the season of a thaw, |✦| ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬|♫♪♩♬♩♫♩♪♫♬| Peter... Yuki mentally noted while writing the name at the back page of her sketchpad. After a few minutes, the girl felt a bit anxious. First, because she's alone with two men who she just met. Second, because its really silent since Peter told his name. Yukiharu looked around to find something to use as a topic but the girl's out of luck. Then, as Robin entered the room, My savior~ Schnee cried out in her thoughts and also getting the urge to glomp Robin. Although, she contained the urge for another time or to be exact. At their room. With a sigh of relief, Yukiharu again took a sip of her coffee latte and while she does so. Another male entered the room with a laptop in hand like Robin.
Haru simply watched the scenes unfold before her. In a way, everybody in the room was interacting with each other. The girl silently chuckled due to Peter's retrod. But of course, he was being sarcastic and Yukiharu knew this although. If Peter was serious about the tea parties and etcetera, Schnee would take pictures and videos of it. And while the girl was planning how to do this, a smile crept across her face. A evil smile The door opened again and this time, a female with a lot of luggage with her entered the room. "Yes it is" Schnee wrote at her sketchbook and showed it to the newcomer simultaneously when Robin replied with gleeful expression. Then, the ebony haired youth with the laptop helped the red-haired female with her luggage problem which made Yukiharu smiled and silently chuckled. "Its fine to do so. As long as you don't do 'strange things' with her~" The chestnut haired girl replied with her sketchpad at the black-haired youth with a oh so innocent smile like she didn't wrote something disturbing in a way.
Yukiharu felt a small grumble from her stomach and turning her head at the clock that's mounted at the wall, Already 6:15pm....Time sure flies.. "Before you two go to the dorms, how about stay here for sometime. I'll make dinner for all of us~" Haru wrote at her sketchbook and exhibit before leaving it at the coffee table and walked towards the kitchen. Again, the girl checked the contents of the fridge and started to ponder what to make. And with a flash of inspiration, Schnee took out a fresh chicken and also few ingredients and started to marinade the chicken. After doing so, Yuki prepared some mixture of butter and honey with a brush. The girl started to brush the mixture at the chicken before putting it at the oven. Setting the timer for a hour, Haru washed her hands then opened the fridge, taking out cranberries, apples, potato and other ingredients.
-After a hour of cooking-
Yukiharu made a honey-roasted chicken, cranberry applesauce, and crispy hash browns for everybody

“ I'll slap you so f*cking hard it'll feel like you kissed a f*cking freight train... ” XXXDamyen ReedXXX ☆ XXTranscending TimeXX ☆ XXEternal LifeXX xXxSlouching a bit when more of the girl's luggage fell, Damyen managed to sweep his arm under all of the bags that fell as if it were a football. Letting out a soft sigh of relief, he flashed a light smile again before standing up straight again. Of course he was ignoring the fact that he had about three layers of shirts on and yet only two were capable of being seen; a white button-up shirt that was completely unbuttoned and had a black t-shirt reading in bold capitalized lettering I DON'T HAVE AN ANGER PROBLEM. I HAVE AN IDIOT PROBLEM. Not the kindest of t-shirts let alone proper wear based on the dress code regulations, but he could really care less. So long as he was comfy and no one saw what was supposed to be private areas, they should be happy. End of debate. xXxNoticing movements off to the side, the dark haired male glanced at the girl with the sketchpad. Seeing her note on how it was okay to help out, he nodded slightly as if telling her he saw her note... Then there was talk of dinner... Didn't she mean supper? Dinner was around noon and one in the afternoon... Blinking, he wanted to decline, but she'd already got started on the food! How could he say no now? This was going to be difficult if he couldn't remain at the far edges of the group. xXx“It's no problem whatsoever. I'm Damyen and I'm clau- er... It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance,” he responded with a slight hint of nervousness as he'd started drifting briefly off topic only to correct himself quickly. Then came in a dirty-blonde male. He was probably going to start wigging out if more people started showing up. He wasn't good with crowds of more than three people including himself and now there was like five people in the same room as him. “I'm thinking of making a banner that says 'welcome to the music department's dorm entrance!'. It should be obvious...” he grumbled to himself while just slightly nodding at the other male. Was the room getting smaller or was it just him?

Penelope

Penelope let her hand drop. The boy obviously didn't have a hand available to shake, as they were preoccupied with her fallen luggage. The fact that he had managed to pick up as much of it as he did was quite impressive really. Even with her freakishly long arms she didn't think she could have managed to lift two rolling suitcases and the two medium sized bags that had been under her arms all at once. She felt really bad now though, seeing as she wasn't carrying anything at all. She shifted her weight and smiled apologetically, catching a movement in the corner of her eye as another girl turned a decently sized sketchpad their way. Could she... not talk? Seemed that way. Why else would she be writing what she wanted to say in a book instead of just saying it? Penelope blinked as she attempted to read the handwriting from a distance. She wanted them to stick around? What about her bags? She didn't just want to leave them here! Then again, she didn't want to upset the girl by not waiting... She didn't even really know if that would be upsetting, but she assumed it was better to be safe than sorry.
"U-um... sure." She replied. It felt strange to reply to something she had read. But ah, what about my..."
She trailed off as the other girl exited the room, feeling very unsure as to what to do. The girl had asked her to stay, but the other two already had her bags and wanted to take them to her room? She looked back to Daymen and Robin nervously. "A-ah, well I, I mean, I guess there's time to take them... later right? Or now is fine too! I just... she asked us to stay... But I mean the dorm isn't that, it's not too far away is it? I guess... er..." She glanced at her feet. "Whatever you want to do is, is fine. You can just leave the bags here and I'll take them later I guess."

Peter Whitney Pleasant patina pulls apart a holy copper shrine Like gently creeping mossy claws, scarring all divine. Peter was amazed when Yuki left the room and managed to cook a full course meal in the time it took everyone else to just say hello. That was the second time she'd done something like that and he was half convinced there was some kind of time dilation that was causing time to flow faster in the kitchen. Regardless, she'd cooked food. Real food--not sweets. And it smelled amazing. He was practically salivating like one of Pavlov's dogs while watching her bring the food out.
Still amazed, Peter immediately forgot anyone else in the room existed. The only person who existed for him in that single, blissful moment, was the most beautiful he'd ever seen. Peter headed toward the table where Yuki was standing. His eyes were traveling over that beautiful skin, taking in every detail, the tawny nuances caught by the light, the slightly glistening highlights. It was so amazing. And those shapely legs...thighs...His face was flushed, his pupils dilated. Was--was this love? He'd never felt this way before.
"Y--Yuki..." Peter said, pausing a few feet from her. His gaze wandered over the object of his affection. "That...is the most beautiful roast chicken I've ever seen!" Truly, he was touched.
He also wondered if he could grab the whole thing and run before anyone else could stop him. That, and, he was sort of wondering if he could kidnap Yuki to be his personal chef.
"Yuihuru," Peter said, finally looking at the girl. "I am going to ask you something I was certain, for so long, I would never ask anyone. Will you be my g...ourmet chef? My personal one, I mean."All the things you think you value, including the gift of life Will slowly, gently fall apart, 'til the world is right.

“ I'll slap you so f*cking hard it'll feel like you kissed a f*cking freight train... ” XXXDamyen ReedXXX ☆ XXTranscending TimeXX ☆ XXEternal LifeXX xXxSo the other guy, the weird one who called the girl who'd suddenly forced the meal together thing onto the table before anyone could argue Yukiharu, was obviously a person who was made a friend via the stomach. He'd upgraded himself from Weird Guy to Weird Food Addict... Or was that a downgrade? Shifting his gaze to Penelope, he responded lightly, “U-um... I think we can just pile your things right here so you can keep an eye on it just in case while eating. It'd be rude to decline what she made for everyone here.” xXxThen Robin ran off to the Student Council room. At least that meant that there was one less person. Unfortunately enough, he still had more people than he was comfortable with. Stacking Penelope's luggage just in sight of where she would be able to see it from where the food was, he was trying not to start panicking. His panicking would be first noticeable through a nervous laughter, already in place, and scratching his wrists with his nails aka the reason he wore so many homemade accessories on his arms. That hadn't started up yet, but it was still on the possibilities list. He was gonna make a lot of enemies again. He could just feel it in the pit of his stomach. xXx“Spasiba... I mean thank you for the food although you really didn't have to go through the trouble of doing so,” he smiled nervously at Yukiharu before moving quickly over to the food, piling the different foods onto a plate and quickly taking long strides back over to the wall. Without hesitation, he started quickly scooping the food into his mouth more like he was inhaling food instead of actually eating. He only paused briefly when his Voice Over control on his iPod confused the words in the room for playing music and made the song It's Raining Men start up. Could this day get any worse than being in the same room as five other people which made you uncomfortable and then having the words it's raining men! Hallelujah~ It's raining men! Amen! I'm gonna go out and let myself get absolutely soakin' wet playing loudly from your headphones? He highly doubted it.

“ I'll slap you so f*cking hard it'll feel like you kissed a f*cking freight train... ” XXXDamyen ReedXXX ☆ XXTranscending TimeXX ☆ XXEternal LifeXX xXxFinding himself back in the first room he'd started meeting people just after Spell Casting Class, Damyen felt a flicker of a smile pass over his face. No one was back in here yet which meant he was free to do as he pleased here in the common room. Setting his laptop down on one of the small tables in the room, he powered it up and waited as patiently as was possible for the screen to load up. Once it loaded up, he started pulling up files of music and setting up a playlist of what he wanted to listen to right. Once he finished his playlist, he clicked the play button and stepped over to an empty section of the room. xXxAs the music started up, his lips moved in sync with the words without ever making a sound and his body started to move fluidly with the beat of the music. He was enjoying a not-so-clustered room and what irritation had built up in his classes was slowly draining away with the music and dancing. It was a hobby and if anyone had a problem, he'd just flip on Under & Over It by Five Finger Death Punch so they could get the general gist of him telling them he didn't care what their opinions were. At least by being alone he didn't have to worry about offending someone or saying something incorrectly. Stupidity was obviously contagious and the world was being overrun by it in his personal opinion. An example of what he considered stupidity? Those lovely little things called "text talk" and Facebook. xXxPausing as the song came to an end, the dark haired male glanced towards the doorway only to give a soft sigh. “Even to Penelope I'm invisible... This sucks... Can't wait for Music Class. Maybe I'll get somewhere in reading sheet music,” he breathed to himself before starting up with the dancing and lip-syncing to the next song that started up.
