Regulus "Sounds like a plan." Regulus scanned the area, hoping to catch a glimpse of the agents, but in the dark, their uniforms usually liked to blend in. Chaos apparently wasn't entirely moronic. Senshi on the other hand kind of stood out. Wingbutts, white uniforms, shorts and short skirts... If they didn't have self cleaning magic, he'd have been surprised if he didn't find more 'kick me' signs stuck to his back from his easily spotted outfit. "I don't need them making this place any worse." He joked, moving to lead them down the street. The area was probably a fire trap as it was... and he caught himself glancing to trash bins in alleys, wondering how much of their contents were flammable. "You think maybe that's why things kicked off here? I mean... it seems kind of random otherwise."
They'd been some of the first senshi to awaken in... in a pretty long time, and in such a far off place from the last event. Was it really just cosmic coincidence? Was their placement a gesture from Order or Chaos?
-----
Realgar
"So what's the plan?" Realgar asked. Normally he'd have gone for a direct assault, but he might as well defer to a superior agent in this case. He was, after all, still a Lieutenant, though he hoped to earn his stripes, so to speak. He certainly hadn't been skimping on the effort, if by 'effort' you meant 'attacking more powerful foes with the savagery of a rabid lap dog'. That he did with alarming regularity.

Bellatrix at least has the luxury of a darker uniform. The buttwings, on the other hand, were still a eyesore.
"I don't know. It seems just all too convenient sometimes... Maybe the Negaverse took out all the other Senshi and knights elsewhere. Maybe there are other small wars just like this one going on elsewhere, and we don't know about it... There's a lot of maybes."
It was just all too convenient.
-------
"There are two of them. Higher than base. It will take speed and thinking to make up for the power difference. If we're lucky, their attacks are shitty."
He'd come across quite a few senshi with some pretty fail attacks... Too bad for him this wasn't going to be one of those situations.
"And attack hard. Don't let up on them, don't give them the chance to attack."

"And good luck getting answers out of anyone. The only thing we get for asking questions is another serving of life disrupting Weird." Apparently they were supposed to be good little magical sailors and not ask questions.
-----
Realgar
"Speed I can handle." He liked speed, except when it came to Senshi...the turbo charged little....
"Shoulda brought my bike." He noted, thinking they could run them down. "Hit from either side maybe?" He suggested, resisting the urge to say something irritable about the implication he'd let up on them. Granted he'd let the Tin Can run his mouth...and Pomona a little... but in one case one was just annoying and the other one might have tried to have his bike towed.

"And there's no grand cosmic reward awaiting us at the end of the fight, I'm willing to bet. Just the same old world run by corrupt politicians and laden with petty asshats," Bellatrix sighed.
Maybe Xavier was right to just run away. It did seem pretty worthless when you thought about it.
"I get the feeling we're all just pawns, anyway. Ourselves and the Negaverse. And the only way to win is not to play."
And I just lost the game. Thank you.
Taking to the rooftops the senshi of Fortitude waited for Pride to follow suit. Rooftop hopping beat dodging cars on the road, and actually covered a good bit of distance in a short period of time. And having the high ground always helped.
---
"Good," Bismuthite replied. "We'll go with that. And try to keep them separated. Not that senshi really know the meaning of teamwork anyway."
And the senshi called themselves 'order.' They were anything BUT. The Negaverse had more order then those ******** senshi!

Realgar ---- "Tell me about it. They're just a bunch of idiots sneaking out after Curfew and thumping their chests. Don't get me started on the ********' tiny ones." He snarled.
He'd be absolutely floored if these two had any more organized skill than 'scream and flail'.
Powerful or not this would be a cake walk. After all, what was the worst they could do? The most dangerous he'd run into was a hail shower and then the munchkin trying to set his boot on fire. He was laying even money that these used... who knew. Bubbles? Sparkles?
-------------
Regulus
"Worse. It's probably run by cats. Astrea becomes the president. The terms Mr. and Ms. will be replaced with 'Failwhale' and 'Dummy'... and instead of Hail to the Chief we'll hear the Meow Mix jingle."
It was a while since he'd done this, and he could feel adrenaline making him feel anxious and jittery. Could he do this? Was he going to crash and.. so to speak... burn?

"I never cared for kids anyway," Bismuthite replied, "I've got no problem disposing of the tiny pests. Lucky for them, none have crossed my path yet."
CLosing his eyes Bismuthite could almost see the senshi in his mind - thier power signiture was strong enough and close enough that he could get a good idea of...
"They're up there. On top of the buildings."
----
"Come to think of it, I haven't seen Astrea around lately. And I don't think Cora even knows about her. Oh, Cora is....well, pretty much my little sister's guardian cat. Yeah, my sis is a chibi senshi - Hypnos. My philandering father sent her to live with me about a year or so ago," Bellatrix said with a mix of casual downplay and exasperation.
Bellatrix didn't particularly worry about her little sister going out on patrols anymore. Not when she was with Cora, and also considering she was a super senshi now... And Chibis seemed to have all the luck anyway...
Then the power signatures they were following stopped. The forces of Order and Chaos were practically right on top of one another....

Realgar "Seriously? The ******** is with those morons. If they were the Senshi of ******** Squirrels it might make sense..." He didn't know when exactly the roofs had become a senshi highway, but he suspected it happened the first time some young idiot realized they could get the hell up there, and they had magical powers to kick the a** of anyone telling them to get the hell down and be normal.
"Lets go get the twerps."
---- Regulus "Wait, your little sister is a freaking chibi? Goddamn, I'd be bald from stress! How the hell do you do it?"
At least she had a guardian cat out with her. It wasn't the same as say, a giant killer guard dog, but they were magical, they were smart (sort of..) and they could do an upgrade in a pinch.
"...Uh oh. You ready for this?"
The first time they'd fought together on a roof top they'd blown up a slime monster... and a car. This was presumably going to be a bit different.

"I scared the s**t out of her when I revealed that I was also a senshi. Put the fear of the Negaverse in to her. That put 'er in line pretty good. Other then that...I don't worry that much. I mean, I'm not really that attached. I've not known her all that long, and I'm not all that fond of kids in the first place."
It was horrible, but true. Bell just absolutely did not know how to handle little kids at all. Add to the fact that her sister was a reminder of how horrible a man her father is. Since she was born he'd been re-married at least ten times to her knowledge. Most of the time it followed a grotesque amount of money deposited into her bank account as an apology for not even telling her he was seeing anyone. And hell, her own father didn't know her birthday or how old she was. The man still thought she was eighteen for crying out loud! And this was the same man that expected her to run his business in the future?
Okay, so Bell had some family issues, but all in all she at least provided for her sister as well as she could. After all, she'd practically raised herself, so she didn't know really how to fulfill the role of both sister and a motherly roll. And Bell figured that she'd turned out alright, so Ainsley would, too.
"They won't get far," Bell said, appearing to get ready to attack.
---
"Not everyone can be smart enough to stick to the shadows," Bismuthite commented as he summoned his weapon.
He leapt and started to fire a wide spray of the pepper-spray like substance at the two senshi.
Just like he'd thought - a super and an eternal. The power difference was not entirely hopeless, though. Even if the element of surprise was somewhat lost.

"Definitely not so smart." Realgar agreed, before springing into action behind his superior officer. His own weapon wasn't as impressive, but disoriented by Bismuthite's spray, he was hoping to catch them off guard as he summoned and threw his handful of jacks. Face, feet... he didn't care where they hit as long as they did some goddamn good for once. Stupid useless things. If they were a test from the powers of chaos to ensure only the most skilled agents survived...
...Well that didn't explain certain officers either.
******** it. Not his problem. He was their goddamn problem.
----------------
Regulus
The idea had been to tell her he still thought she was pretty badass, handling things that had been thrown at her like a prizefighter rolling with the punches... except that the touching moment was interrupted by the ungodly suck-factor of -horribleburningstuffeverywhere-, which might or might not have had something to do with the rain of small metallic things that rained down on them at almost the same time.
"No s**t they won't!" ...That came out much more sarcastic than he'd intended. He'd apologize later. Hopefully not from the hospital.
"Claws of the Lion!" His eyes were watering and burning, making everything an uncomfortable blur and he wasn't even sure if he would hit anything but roof tar, so he aimed generally in the direction of 'burning evil pain' and hoped for the best.
Later he really would have to admit he might have enjoyed a more tactical plan than 'hope for the best' better.

Bismuthite's first reaction was 'Oh ********, fire..' but then as the spray caught flame, his reaction turned to '******** yes, fire! >D' as Regulus' attack turned his weapon of burning pain into a more literal sense of the phrase. Too bad it had to run out at some point. -- Bellatrix reacted quickly, backflipping out of the way of Bismuthite's attack, but her landing was met by unfortunate footing - thanks probably to that jacks that why the flippen hell they were doing on a roof was beyo- oh. Well, that was an unfortunate weapon... Picking herself up Bellatrix readied her attack, golden energy swirling above one hand, then another above the other. "Amazon Chakram!" She fired one at the captain, and another at the lieutenant. Nifty Attack Reference Blurb Attack #1 - Amazon Chakram Effect; paralysis Bellatrix uses her determination/will/personal fortitude to form the attack. Two golden glowing chakrams are formed from that energy and float just above her hands. When she throws them they do not cut the opponent, but rather it goes through them, incapacitating them with pain that is purely mental rather than physical. Lasts about a minute, maybe less, leaving the opponent open to an attack. The attack can be easily avoided, and deflected if Bellatrix is not focused enough.

Regulus "OH F---" Regulus didn't tend to swear that much, but this particular situation seemed to call for it as he dove blindly, skidding on his side... on top of... ********... jacks... trying to roll out of the way of.. well whatever the ******** it was it was ON. FREAKING. FIRE. Which was his fault... apparently...
His eyes were still burning and it was hard to see anything but the bright ball of burning light, though at least it couldn't get any MORE on fire. Fantastic return from retirement. He wasn't even sure he had aloe in the bathroom and he was pretty sure he needed it. Not all of the pain he was currently in was kids toys digging into his flesh, he was pretty sure.
"Bell!"
-----------
Realgar
...Holy. s**t. YES. Since he'd been corrupted he hadn't actually seen his weapon work once. Even in a goddamn crowded room, not one ******** Senshi or knight had actually been hit by one. They sort of walzed out of the way like they had radar sensor feet or something, missing by frustrating hairs bredths in their stupid, stupid shoes and slippers. Except this one.
"YES!" He crowed triumphantly, briefly overwhelmed by the unexpected victory of the goddamn jacks doing -something- for once... though the sentiment was immediately followed by "********!" Though this came out sounding a big more strangled than the first, and considerably less happy as the Xena-dinnerplate whisked straight through him, fast and unexpected. For a second he wasn't sure if he should be checking for guts... racing uniforms were supposed to protect you from friction, not blades, but he wasn't actually sure it was any better that they all seemed to be in their appropriate locations. Even the fact that the other senshi looked to have been burned as a result of his own attack didn't make it feel much better. He'd felt worse... but memory of pain never stacked up quite well against current pain, and it still hurt like a b***h. Speaking of bitches...
The second the pain began to ease, (which felt like an eternity), the moment he could convince his own body to listen again, he lunged for her, hoping she was still unbalanced from the jacks and from Bismuthite, but not waiting to actually check to see if she'd tried to regain her footing. He wasn't above trying to land on her if they both fell off the roof. Probably do more damage to her than his weapons could, after all.

Bismuthite, after his weapon was emptied of it's contense, had used his landing to spring backwards to the other set of rooftops just across the alleyway, thinking he was out of range of any attacks, but Bellatrix's other chakram had gotten him and for a moment he bit his lip. Friggen...augh!
Angered, he took a flying leap back in to the fray. It was time for some good old hand-to-hand combat. Not actually looking at the senshi who had thrown the fire attack, recognition struck. He'd seen this one at his first fight ever - in Elysion.
"Long time no see," Bismuthite smirked.
---
If there was any humor to be had, it would be that the lieutenant would step on one of his own damned jacks. Of course, Bellatrix wasn't thinking such things as she saw him lunge for her. She got into a readied stance, as if she was going to take him head on, but then she stepped aside - though quickly picking up one of her feet and having to re-position it because of another damned jack.... And oh, she was not above pushing him off the edge if the opportunity was there. She didn't think she was going to get off that easy though.

Realgar The Lieutenant snarled, almost bestial, as he rounded on his heel, the heavy soles of his boots sending several small metal jacks pinging in more wild directions. (Though he'd never admit to the one he could feel faintly lodged in the treads.)
Goddamn fast senshi... He was fast too, but the little bastards were -really- damn fast. He moved to attack again, trying to close the gap between them. Speed was her advantage as a senshi but strength was theirs.
"Nice try twinkletoes...but this isn't over yet."
-------
Regulus
One arm was burned where he'd thrown them up, and it hurt like hell, but he knew it wasn't lethal, though on every primal level the fire was terrifying, there was apparently some small part of him that could still pick up, get on with it, and remind him in scolding tones that he wasn't in need of the emergency room... yet.
"Noble claws of the lion!"
His eyes still hurt, like everything else, but he could see a little better now, and one thing he could definitely see was the amount of focus on Bellatrix. Well if they wanted to write him off as non threatening, he'd give them something to think about. And at least time there was no burning spray from hell pointed at him.

"You're outmatched," Bellatrix said. It was a little curious that the lower ranked officer would go after the higher ranked of the two senshi. Lucky for Realgar, Bellatrix had a problem with killing. One life taken by her hands was more than enough. And with his weapon scattered about, the most she had to worry about was a purely physical assault... So she dismissed him, albeit not entirely, but Regulus needed more help than she did.
Or well, so she thought. Fire tended to be a pretty good indicator of the receiver getting their s**t ******** up. --
The fire was too quick and close to be evaded. At the very least Bismuthite could bring up his arms and turn a shoulder to the senshi's attack. At least then it had a layer of smooth leather to go through. It stuff hurt and burned though, and when Bismuthite brought down his arms it was to aim a backhand at Regulus.

Regulus tried to dodge, but still caught part of the backhand across his jaw, which didn't help him seeing stars. Apparently there was something to be said for desperation and the whole falling off a bicycle theory though, as he lashed out with a low kick. Nothing flashy but he figured a quick shin kick might take some wind out of the agents sails. ---
Realgar grinned, cocky and hungry. "You people keep saying that, but I've gone toe to toe with one of your ********' Princes. You're nothing special." The boast was true enough, though the whole thing had been a draw, not the implied victory, but even as a tie, he figured it scored pretty well on the intimidation factor. He was after all, the lowest rank in the Negaverse.
