She looked back towards him quickly now, blinking at first "Me...? No... I have no-one" looking back out she realized just how depressing that statement could be "I.. um... grew up alone... I don't remember where I've just been travelling, looking for.. nice places" Yeah, that didn't make it any better, she figured she should leave it at that for now before she made the poor male cry.

Jared watched as she stumbled over her words. She was acting like he had spooked her or was a possible threat. He didn't like how that made him feel. "So your a loner to? There are many of us in the world. I too grew up on my own. I just happened upon another of my kind where I live. So you are one for sights?"

Smiling her Tail flicked a little as he seemed nice and hearing of him actually finding some of his own kind to be friends with? That was nice "I'm glad you have friends... I hope to make lots some day...." looking back out the the water she nodded slowly "I think Nature can be beautiful.. so long as you're careful you can enjoy it's beauty, but the second you forget how dangerous that beauty can be..." backing away and out of the water she shook her paws dry "Some people forget that the elements can Kill"

"It was nice. Though she is a bit more hyperactive and sly than what I feel up to dealing with a lot of the time she is a sweet girl and kind." He said with a found smile while thinking of his sled dog friend. "I don't doubt that you will make lots of friends. You seem to be a nice vixen. I don't see you having troubles." He than glanced down at the water as well and nodded his head in agreement. "Yes depending on where you live you do lose sight of the fact that elements can be dangerous to ones health."

She looked him over slowly, smiling happily as he was so kind "Where do you normally live?" From his thicker fur all she could think of was somewhere far colder but she had no idea he'd live around snow.. She Loved snow but her fur didn't allow her to be out in it long, though she could blend in with water well also the cold sea got to her quickly too.

" I live to the far far north up a mountain. There is snow there normally but even if there isn't snow it is pretty much always cold. Most other foxes don't dare coming up that far because they have no way with dealing with the cold. I haven't heard of very many doing it and have never seen one myself." Jared said honestly because he knew he was in an area that was very harsh for others. "What area's do you like to be in?"

She blinked at first "Snow...? I... I Love snow..." looking down she knew she was one of the many Foxes that would be unable to handle the cold for very long "if I had fur like yours.. I bet I could stay in it longer..." smiling weakly at him it was clear she did enjoy the snow but couldn't handle the cold, physically.

Jared chuckled at the enthusiasm in her voice. She stammered over her words while trying to express how she felt about it. "Breath. Take a deep breath. I understand you love the snow and my dear if you had fur like mine you wouldn't only be able to stay in it longer but you could certainly live in it."

Eyes widening she seemed hopeful for a while "Live in it?" She liked many things and though Living in the snow sounded good to her now, she would miss Flowers and water far too much "That sounds..." looking back out towards the water, then around at the plant-life she nodded "Like something I will never be able to do... I'm.. like one of these flowers here.. I like the warm... I like the water... a little snow is fine but.."

"Yes if you had my type of fur you could live in it, "Jared lets out a sigh as she seems to only be half hearing what he is saying. "I didn't say you had to live in the snow. I just said that you could. Obviously you could be in warmer climates otherwise I wouldn't be here."

Smiling weakly she walked over to nuzzle his neck, not wanting him to be upset "I'd like to stay in the snow.. I could follow you around for a little while and you wouldn't have to worry about me getting too cold" smiling she was sweet really, she liked adventure clearly and everywhere new was an adventure, so was every meeting she had with a Fox, all unique, all fun.

Jared let Serene nuzzle his cheek. He took it as an apology and accepted it so he nuzzled her back as a way of saying so. "Yeah I don't think there is a way to possibly swap furs with another." he commented trying to make a joke though he wasn't sure how well he pulled it off. "I could take you to a snowy area maybe not as far up as to where I stay but somewhere snowy for sure."

Happy he didn't get upset she even got the joke, shaking her head as she giggled. Once he offered to show her a snowy area though he eyes lit up "I'd like that... Thank you" she liked this new Fox... He was funny, sweet, kind, and had a cuteness to him, plus he had strong insulated fur, that was always a plus for cold nights.

"Not a problem and I certainly hope you would like that." Jared said while glancing at the almost non- existent sun. Had that much time really passed? He glanced around and decided that it most have because it was almost night. It was shocking out how time could fly like that. " I think I will go for an evening swim before finding someplace to bed down."
