He nodded quickly, simply curious about the concept since he only knew of a male and female pairing this was something new for him to learn, he'd adapt very easy to it of course as he wasn't close-minded, if anything he was Bi himself since he was never specific on what gender he associated with, then again he had never had a Mate so this was a new subject also, same Sex Matings.

Terry took a deep breath as he tried to figure out how he was going to explain this. "Well there is obviously the normal pairing a male and female they get blessed and get to have kits. Same deal for a female and female or a male and male. They fall in love with each other. Declare their love and try for kits. Pray to the Modities and some times they will get lucky like my mothers did and have kits. Other times they wont and will have to try again at a later time. The only difference is that one female will care the bcr's or one male. From my experience with my family it is normally the more gentle or girlish like fox that caries them though I guess that would be on a situation to situation based." He looked over at Red before asking. "Would you like an example by what I mean by gentle or girlish?"

He was thinking on that for some time "....... try and prey?" That sounded strange to him, he assumed really all Foxes had to do was bump uglies to get a kit or two, or more, but it was not unheard of for some to prey for a successful coupling really and yet, he still had the strangest feeling now.... Like he was.. inadequate... Looking away he then looked down slowly "Then why are we born with..." he was mumbling but then began clearing his throat, he looked back having trailed off at the end of his former muttering in time to catch what the other had said "Yes, Please...I'd like that..." he needed something to take his mind out of the gutter, living as a nomad gave him a more simplistic mind really and he didn't want to be thinking about boom-boom any time soon it would only make him angry and sad at the same time, he wanted a Mate of course for more than just 'fun times' yet hadn't really met anyone who seemed remotely interested in him.

Even though Red was trying to be quite Terry heard his lowly spoken questions. He had really good hearing, but he had to for a glowing fox it made it hard to catch prey so his hearing enhanced so that he could hear its every movement. "Yes try and pray. You mate with you loved one and pray to the gods for a successful breeding. As for why we were born the way we are well that has to do with our parents dna." He said with a kind of matter of fact tone. "I'll explain both. My blue mother is rough and aggressive. Doesn't trust others well much like a typical male. My white mother is gentle and soft. She likes to help and has a innocents to her. She is the one that carried me and my siblings. As for the way we are born. My white mother glows blue. It's a bright blue. I'd say brighter than mine but as you can see I got it from her. We get what we have from our parents wither it be one or the other or a mix of both."

He blinked at first, that made sense of course. Those parents sounded pretty, he would have Loved to have seen them but of course wasn't about to push his luck by asking "You have an interesting family" Nodding slowly her was thinking on it all before finally taking a breath "How exactly would two.. females... um... Mate?" simply due to his first encounter with the subject he was feeling stupid just asking but, well it was a valid question for a Wild Fox.

Terry thought about it. He was happy that he was on a roll but this last question left him just as stumped as the fox asking him. "I...uh... I'm not really sure. I guess why the Modities are tossed in there... I never asked my mothers. Didn't ever have a desire to because I was there and it was what it was.... I suppose we could go ask them... I'd feel odd if it was just me asking since they are my mothers." Terry said with a blush crawling across his cheeks.

He shifted about at first, he felt like he was imposing really but he did want to know "Well if... you are returning to them some time today. I would like that" he was insanely curious about this.

Terry waved his paw at Red trying to show him that there was no reason to be nervous or uneasy. "Yeah sure not a problem. Though a heads up you will probably be bombarded with questions from my parents and maybe my siblings." He paused for a moment than spoke again, " It just occurred to me we are sitting very far a part and really makes it difficult to have a proper conversations. Maybe one of us should move closer?"

He was thinking on what was said, there would be not much he could say to the family of a fox he'd just met really. Nodding to himself at first he finally walked forward before jumping past some rocks towards the other Fox "We had no idea if the other would attack or not... it was for both our security"

Terry watched in silences as Red came over. He was a patient one and didn't mind the silence or chaos. In his family you could get both. "That is true but I hope we agree with that we are both fine and know that we are safe with each other yeah?"

Nodding slowly he smiled some and close his eyes for a moment "You see to have no desire to attack me so I have no reason to retaliate... we will be fine" Smiling now he did need the other male to lead the way as he had no idea where they would be heading, plus, he was used to watching his back so he could watch both of their backs at the same time.

Terry gave a little smile in return before standing up. He stretched himself out and shook out his fur. "Glad to know that we are fine. " he said while turning in to the direction of his home where his mother's were. "Your not shy are you?"

Laughing weakly he moved to follow "Rarely... more.. cautious... Why do you ask?" slowly thoughts of fussy mommy types flashed through his mind, oooing and ahhing over their boys new friend, the whole auntie pinching the cheek scene came to mind, though on some level he would enjoy the attention, on another he'd feel like a little kit, it was a mixed feeling he got when thinking on that

"Because you are going to meet seven other foxes besides our selves. I wouldn't want to overwhelm you if you are a shy-er fox. If you were I'd have to make a point to my mothers to send my siblings away but if you can deal with them I wont."Terry said as he continued to walk again. He knew it was going to be a long journey. What was he expecting out of it he didn't know. This wasn't something he typically did.

He just shifted a little "Seven...?" well now, there was a twist, he was a loner mostly due to the reaction of others to him and here he was about to jump on in to meet a whole team of new Foxes, shrugging it off he was more than prepared to do this, it might even be interesting, he might meet some more new friends from this journey, Friends were a rare thing for a Fox like him. Long travels would phase him but it did leave him thinking, why was this fox so far from home? "So, uhh what brought you to the middle of nowhere?"
