She smiled fondly and patted his arm again, "Thank you, Lavi. I'll come with you~" she followed him to the punch and grabbed herself a small amount from the spiked bowl.
Just then, Luci came running up, "Mommy! Can I have some?" she tugged at Liv's skirt a bit and looked up at her.
Liv looked down and laughed a little, "Of course, sweetheart. But not this kind...," she set her cup down and got Luci a cup of regular punch.

When they reached the refreshments table, Lavi's attention was almost immediately pulled to the large stack of pink-frosted cupcakes, remembering how tasty they had been during the Valentine's Day celebrations. He took one to have with his punch, ladling some of the non-alcohol kind into a cup.
"Luci~!" He exclaimed happily when the little girl joined them, carefully clinking his cup against hers after her mother had given her some, giving her a conspiratorial wink, which probably didn't register with just one eye visible. "We have the better kind."

Luci jumped excitedly when she noticed Lavi, "Uncle Lavi!" she threw one arm around his hips, trying not to slosh her punch all over as she looked up at him, "You look handsome tonight! Will you dance with meee?" She batted her eyelashes at him and puffed out her bottom lip.
Liv laughed as she watched Luci give Lavi the puppy face, "Luci, I'm sure if you just say 'please', he'll be more than happy to dance with you," she frowned a little after that for a second, adding more quietly, "...When did you start calling him Uncle..." she laughed again lightly and patted Luci's head gently.

Lavi chuckled at Luci's excitement and the addition to his name, patting her head carefully as not to dislodge her curls. "Why, thank you, Luci~ I was hoping you'd notice, I dressed up all nice for you~" He smiled and took a quick sip of his punch before putting it back down on the table. "I'd love to dance with you," he gave her a formal bow as if asking a lady to dance at a fancy, old-fashioned party before holding his hand out for her to take.

Upon waking up that morning, Kiah had dove into her closet trying to find something fancy to wear for Liv's party. She had very few dresses, but luckily for her she'd found one that she'd hoped would do the job. It wasn't over-the-top, it hid most of her scars, and it seemed elegant enough to her, so she quickly got dressed and started heading for the ballroom with her present. Inside was a pair of winter gloves, very out of season, but since Kiah didn't know what else to get the young woman- and Johnny had been teaching her how to make more than scarves- she'd decided it might be nice to make her a pair. Once she'd arrived in the beautifully decorated room she looked around for Liv, finding her near the refreshment table with Lavi and Luci.
"Hey you guys! Liv! You look fantastic!" Kiah exclaimed. She'd been a little worried when she'd heard Kyle bragging about how he'd picked out the dress, but it was simply gorgeous. She quickly handed over the present, looking a little nervous, "Happy birthday!" She sent a quick wave Lavi's way, since he seemed to be getting ready to dance with Luci.

Luci squealed happily and gave a curtsy in reply to Lavi's bow. Taking his hand, she straightened up again and started pulling him towards the dance floor, "You really dressed up just for meeee?" She turned back just in time so shoot Kiah a quick wave before disappearing with Lavi, "You look so pretty, Miss Kiah!"
Liv shook her head at Luci before greeting Kiah, "She's right, you look lovely~" she pulled Kiah into a hug, "Thank you~" she took the small box from Kiah's hands, "You really didn't have to.." Opening the box, she immediately saw the hand-made winter gloves and a large smile spread on her lips, "Oh, they're wonderful~ Did you make these yourself?"

"Hi Kiah! Bye Kiah!" Lavi laughed a little as he got pulled away as soon as she had joined them, waving at her as he and Luci moved onto the dance floor. "Of course I did! You're my favorite girl, after all~" He frowned slightly, taking both her hands in his, not entirely sure how to go about dancing with someone so much smaller than him. "Do you want to stand on my feet...?" He asked uncertainly, remembering how he'd danced with Chaoe, but not sure if the more sophisticated Luci knew her own way of dancing.

Star looked around nervously as she entered the ballroom, still more than a little unsure about whether or not she had any business here or if she even wanted to come, her uncertainty having only grown thanks to the outfit Karri had forced her into.
She had never been one for skirts or dresses or anything of the sort, but the blue, flowing gown Karri had found for her wasn't quite as bad as she'd expected, but that didn't mean she liked it, especially since it left the pentacle beneath her collarbone exposed.
She guessed it could have been worse though... Knowing Karri she probably could have forced the whitette into something pink if she'd tried. Least the dress was blue, much more the white haired girl's comfort zone so at least she knew Karri had used some consideration for Star's taste and preference, even if the ribbons and curls in her hair felt like a bit much since it was one thing she'd never worried about.
She sighed heavily, just trying not to fidget in place as she took in the decor, eyes landing momentarily on the small group nearby before flickering away once more as she approached the tables set up in the corner in hopes of finding some form of relaxation, hoping she'd start feeling less out of place once she'd had time to get used to her surroundings.

"Haha, thanks Luci! You too!" she yelled to the girl's retreating back, chuckling softly to herself. "And hi-bye Lavi!"
"I figured I should find something half-way decent when I heard how fancy your party was going to be," she half-joked, simply glad she'd been able to find something to wear. She waited silently as Liv opened the box, shuffling from one foot to the other. "Yes! Well, Johnny taught me how. I'd been wanting to help him out with the uniforms, but I'm not quite good enough at that yet. I wasn't exactly sure what else to get you...," she trailed off in embarrassment.

Luci gasped a little and giggled, "I aaaammm~? Well, you're my favorite Uncle!" She nodded seriously so he knew she meant it, starting to swing his arms about when he took both of her hands, "Oh, yes please~" she pleaded and gently climbed onto his feet. She danced happily with him for a minute before looking up and tilting her head as then gently spun around, "What about Miss Sil?"
"Well, it looks more than half-way decent to me~" Liv looked back at the gloves again and felt them in her hands, still smiling, "They're really lovely, Kiah. I can't wait until it gets cold enough to use them. I'll wear them every time I go outside~" She set the box down and wrapped her arms around Kiah, giving her a tight hug.

Hyber stood outside the partyroom's doors. Taking deep breaths, she remembered to not panic. She was dressed in black again, and in a simple outfit, so she wouldn't stand out. The only color on her was her red hair ribbons, only for speacial occasions. She was wearing a small frilled shirt, and a pair of poofy shorts,and steel toed boots completed the outfit.
"It's now or never." She pushed the doors open, just enough to fit in, and passed through, walking around, and admiring the decorations. She made her way to one of the corners, and stayed there.

(( Maybe if you and Star didn't post in and then have your characters go right to the corner, or sit off somewhere alone, someone would be able to interact with you. As it stands, we can't very well interact with you when you're off alone and we're already busy talking to people. ))

"I'm glad." Lavi chuckled, carefully shuffling across the dance floor with her, keeping a steady hold on her so she wouldn't fall off his feet. "Hm?" He blinked down at her, faking the usual obliviousness on the subject, "What about her?"
((Sim time~))
Humming the cheerful tune stuck in his mind, Sim made his way to the Ballroom, grasping the carefully wrapped present in one hand. A party always got him in a good mood. Although he wasn't as close to her as some of the other Order members, Liv was always there for anyone who needed it and there was probably no one who did not have warm feelings towards her. After finding Liv to wish her a happy birthday and give her his gift (a nice bottle of Italian wine), he made his way to Jerry. He'd missed out on lunch that day, so his stomach was screaming for some sustenance. Quick as always, his plate of pasta was done in a manner of minutes. Winding through the tables set up in the corner, Sim found one already occupied. "Buongiorno." He said with a friendly smile, sliding onto the chair opposite Star.
