That's discusting. Why in the world would someone do that? Why would you make a "how to abort your baby" websight? ugh thats terrible. They should be thrown into jail or fined or something!!

Let them. The blood of every woman who dies from it is on her hands, not ours. They've got free speech, which is fortunate, because it means we do too. By the same rule that they can promote violence, we can spread information about safe pregnancy care that doesn't involve anyone dying from an illegal abortion.

As sick as it is, I'm just really disturbed at the length that women would go for an abortion (though I do wonder how many of the commentators would actually go through with it).
IF the proceedure is as safe as the site is making it out to be, then the arguement that if abortions are illegal, women will kill themselves at an alarming rate with self-done abortions doesn't hold as much water. "It's still safe". But if it really is as dangerous as the arguement implies...why so much support for the site?
Makes no sense.
If women are that desperate for their abortions...and this has been said repeatedly... then it's obvious that not only do we need to work for making it illegal but also virtually unneccessary so that the only real reasons a woman would have to abort is either in self defence to save her life or just for abortion's sake (EDIT: not to imply that this is acceptable of course).

But what do you expect, it's not as if she actually cares about women. It's a pathetic political statement, and one that will do no good whatsoever, from anyone's pov.

La Veuve Zin Wow, she has no idea how irresponsible she's being by telling women to "take some antibiotics" without specifying what kind. But what do you expect, it's not as if she actually cares about women. It's a pathetic political statement, and one that will do no good whatsoever, from anyone's pov. Yeah, I got some antibiotics for my skin problems. I got some of them left, I'll take them when I abort my baby by myself. And most of the antibiotics (in finland, at the least) are prescription (sp?) medicines, you cant just buy them.

If they can't face the fact that pregnancy is a possiblity when having sexs then I don't think their ready and should have sex. Even if their careful (though it's rare) it can still happen. I know what you mean, but what I don't like about this is that it markets the procedure as being safe. They don't mention that puncturing the uterus could be fatal, they only say to use a little force when scraping to make sure you get everything. They use that 1/13,000 statistic to assure women, "This is safe." It's not exactly safe, so why is it being marketed as such? To try to get more people to get abortions, that's how they make money. Just like doctors arn't always going to say if some stuff is dangerous they just give out little warns by law so they won't get sued but if they tell the truth and how risk some stuff ( like abortion) is nobody would do ( which would be a good thing except for a life and death situation but I think those are the exceptions if they ever banned it).

Well we all know that self-abortion is dangerous, which is why clincial abortions is still legal cause of the people that would be stupid enough to try that. Any type of medication can be deadly if not used properly, some stuff you need a doctors subscription in order to get it and can only take so much at time. That website is encourging woman to try stupid things which is why they end up dead, they should use common sense but obviously some don't.

Yup, I don't know of any antibiotics that are OTC except for ointment for minor cuts and that stupid antibacterial soap--that's mainly so the Centers for Disease Control can keep a record of what's used, in order to keep tabs on antibiotic resistance. These women and the amateurs providing these abortions don't have the resources to identify the source of an infection. The antibiotic they take may have no effect whatsoever, and the woman could die.

Wonder if she just copied this stuff from the original information given out pre-RvW. I think the antibiotic thing is a trick that was used way back when antibiotics were given out like headache pills. They were used as a cure-all at one point. Now they're carefully administered and hard to get unless you absolutely need to kill bacteria, like La Veuve Zin said. Importing them from other countries isn't safe. Different antibiotics work better against different bacteria, they don't work against ALL bacteria (Minocycline won't work against mycoplasma fermenta but hydroxychlorine will, things like that), and it's just not safe to tell women, "Just get some antibiotics." If they're going endanger lives, at least lessen the risk and say which family is best to take the antibiotics in. It's been awhile since I've read the article, so they may have, but I don't remember them recommending specific types.
This is one of the things that makes me think they actually want people to die to prove a point.
Though now I'm imagining swallowing spoonfuls of antibacterial soap in order to keep yourself healthy after an abortion...
