The girl seemed to let out a pleased sound, which meant she probably approved one of the messages he had managed to utter out to her. However, she grew quiet. He managed to spare the girl a glance and noticed her gaze was not fixated on anything in particular. A classic sign that the girl was thinking.
He had no intention of interrupting her thoughts, but after a while, he did find a legitimate reason to interrupt.
"Miss Theodora... the building up there... That is where you can drop me off." Had he been in a better condition, he might have asked the girl if she wanted to stop in for tea. Unfortunately, he wouldn't have been able to accommodate with how he was at the moment. Instead, all he did was gesture to the building a couple times before allowing his arm to retreat to his side.

Theodora continued to walk along while her mind translated what Howl had said. It took her brain some time and she didn't stop until she was literally at the building he was referring to. She only stopped because he had gestured to it, and even then it took her a couple more moments until she recognized part of what he had said, mostly his reference to the building that was right beside them. She looked, and then she looked to him. This must have been the place he needed to go. She looked for confirmation, slowly taking her arm back to her own body. There was a hint of disappointment, not because he'd be going but because they arrived before she had the chance to force him to show her where the restaurant was. It could easily be confused with other suspicions, especially when Theodora continued to look at Howl and then quickly look in opposite directions.
She was actually looking for which way she had to go and then verifying if Howl was still there while she did. However, in any other sense it could read other thoughts. A shy girl waiting nervously outside of a man's house, looking side to side and then peeking a look at him before quickly looking away. It would have been a fun game to play sometime, to mess with someone like that, but right now Theodora was more concerned other things.
"Peace out," she said, making the gesture and everything. Clearly she needed new people to learn English from.

The teal haired lad made certain to lean against the building the moment the girl let go of him. She looked back and forth to the building and the street, as if looking around to see who was around. Howl offered her a grateful half smile masked partially by his bangs.
Peace out?
It was a curious phrase, mixed with the gesture to match it.
"Well, I thank you, Miss Theodora... for the company."
It felt rude to just leave things that way, especially since he wasn't able to invite her up like a polite host. He had to thank her somehow.
"If you ever stop by Maize Maizier, I would like to thank you with a free appetizer, Miss Theodora. I truly appreciate... what you have done this evening."

Theodora just picked up the strangest manners from people here in Destiny City. It could be worse, she could be kissing everyone. Or maybe that would be better, it probably would depend on who she was kissing and how they felt. Peace out was generally peaceful though, although perhaps a little odd. She didn't think anything odd of it though, and as she relaxed from her greeting and prepared to bid the man farewell by turning her back and walking away: she stopped.
She heard the name of the restaurant, and that alone stopped her. She so deeply wanted to go there that the mention of it caused her to look at Howl like he'd confessed his undying love to her and she was the happiest woman in the world. He was offering her free food? Oh, could this night get any better? Well, it could if she found Nysa but that didn't seem like it was going to happen any time soon. She'd lost him and he was probably long gone by now. She'd do it another time, just like she'd get that food from Howl another time.
"Thank you!" She said, finally turning around and leaving. How abrupt.
She'd just have to find Maize Maizier.
