(So everyone notices that Shab said 'weak attack', right? Great~ That implies her 3 was put into her attack, thank you Shab)
(At this point, I need to decided how to proceed. But, I know I want to attack. Her score being only 3, and not 5 or higher, means there's no use in defending since it didn't hit my character. Yet, let's say you are fighting more then one person!)
A dark man watches from within the trees, having climbed over the wall previously before. He was the bloody assassin, and he was sent to kill the princess. He cursed that she was with one of the knights, but no matter. He knew that it was only a matter of time where the Knight would only look at the princess and her alone. He awaited this moment, and once it came--he attacked! Striking he Knight with an arrow, using the trees as cover.
(Look at my score, it's 7 & 9. I have just used an attack and have to pick which number was my attack. I'm going with my 9 for attack)
The Knight chuckled, and was about to say something until suddenly the sound of an arrow came from behind. "Princess! Stay behind me!" The Knight called out, quickly turning around to see the arrow heading straight fr them. The Knight moving in front of the princess to better protect her, as the arrow made its mark. The Knight staggering at first, as the arrow struck with a powerful force.
"Show yourself!" The Knight said towards their enemy despite the pain. The Knight's arm starting to bleed thanks to the wound inflicted.
(Notice how I used 9 for my attack and 7 for my knight's defense yet the knight is wounded. 7-9 are powerful, but a 9 is stronger then a 7 by far. Thus, a minor wound occurs)

The assassin laughs in the background, hidden from the two entirely as he changed places. "Why would I want to do that...?" He mocks, toying with the Knight. He used the Knight's protective manner against the princess, as he moved from the shadows to where he could target her. He drew his dagger, and awaited his moment...
He then came up behind her, thrusting his dagger forward! Aimed directly to her heart!
(Now do you see that my score is 6? Remember how Shab's was 3 earlier and I said that was loo low to hit? Well, in this case...my assassin has 6, which is higher then 5. 5 and higher equal a hit. Therefore, Shab has to roll a successful defense or parry in order to go against it.)

The princess had been searching around for the voice's master. She turned and found the culprit swinging towards her chest. She squealed slightly as she brought her sword up to block what she knew would have been a fatal blow and her life was in great danger because of her stupid move.
((She is barely saved...))

(Yes, just barely. 6 and 6 are even scores, so it was a "close call")
(Three scores? You may ask...but, within reason! I'm playing two characters at once, one for each of them. However, I'll soon bring in another character, thus three dice! )
In the distance, the King was strolling through the gardens of his castle. His wife was away, as she was with the prince preparing him for tonight. For, tonight was the ball. He went to the gardens to find the perfect flowers for his milday, and for his daughter. Each ball, he gave each different flowers to compliment their beauty. "Last time...the rose represented my Queen, and the lily my Princess. What, may say, represents them now?" He thinks aloud, curious of what flower to choose.
The Knight, still in the training grounds with the Princess, stood against the bloody assassin. "You! I recognize you...you're the one who sent to kill the Princess upon her birthday. Now, you return to finish...I think not!!" He growls, raising his sword to attack the assassin. But! Before he could swing--the assassin stroke first!
The assassin simply laughed in reply,"If that was me, Knight, she would be in her grave...I never miss as you can see!" He replies, attacking full force!! And as he did, he watches as the Knight falls to the ground...unconscious.
(And so, I have used 10 for my assassin's attack. And as you recall, from before in 'The Method' it states that if you roll a total of 10, once you attack it knocks out your opponent temporarily. Thus, the Knight falls.)
(However! If I rolled a 10 against someone not using 'The Method' then I can not knock them out! For, that is unfair to them! >> << Understood? Good.)
The King, although within the gardens, could hear the commotion. He then heard the Knight's cry, and recalls of the assassin as well! "My Princess..." He worries, quickly rushing over to the training grounds.
The assassin slowly looks to the princess, bowing gracefully to her. "Allow me to introduce myself, your Majesty. I am to be death's messenger....your time is now~!" He almost purrs to her, licking his dagger's blade. He then started to move against her, about to attack!
Yet, at that moment, the King stood behind him and slashed at him with his royal sword. "It is you who Death welcomes!" He curses under his breath, attacking with all his might!
The assassin acts, however, rather quickly. He dodges out of the way of the blow, and chuckles as he sees the King. "Come to join her? My blades thirst for royal blood, after all." He says with a wicked grin, drawing his rapier.
(Two scores down! Both, a 9. As you can see, I used a 9 to attack the assassin with my King, and the assassin used a 9 in defense. Notice, that instead of using a shield or armor, he dodges out of the way. You may dodge when defending against any foe, so this is an example of such)
"Princess.....what are you doing here! If you were in the castle, you would not be in such danger. What, by the gods, were you doing?" The King says, rushing over in front of her. As her father, he worried for her. As the King, he was angered that she was in danger and took this out on here for not being in the castle. His eyes remained upon the assassin, despite this, as he did not lower his guard.

"But father I was just trying to prove a point. That i'm not just your little girl anymore. That i'm not just a princess but that i can handle myself..." She said as she kneeled over the unconscious Knight. She was just trying to prove herself.
((Didn't feel like it would be good enough to make an attack))

(That's fine, your character would try to help the Knight at this point)
(As you can see, all my characters are doing different things. One is the assassin, sent to kill the princess~ Another, the Knight that has sworn to protect the princess. And, lastly, the King of the kingdom. Each one is either allies to each other or enemies. To rp all three is easy for me thanks to experience, which is why Ihave 4 characters set for each rp in the Guild Rules. But, you do not have to have multiple characters if you don't want to.)
(Again, I have rolled and edited my post accordingly to my roll. I roll is 6, 9. I would like to have two of my characters attack, and so two dice. I'll use each score to have both attack and rp from there)
The Knight slowly came to, and sat up slowly. Looking over to see the princess, the Knight gave a nod and sheepish smile. "I see you are well.." The Knight says in relief, and looks around to see the King had joined them. "Your Majesty!" The Knight says, jolting up to stand properly before the King. Though, quickly winced at the pain coming from his wound.
The King signaled the Knight to stand down, and looked on to the princess. "Princess, you are still young....you may not be small, but life is a sweet fruit...I do not wish of you to endanger yourself of losing this fruit." The King replied towards her, his eyes still full of worry. But, they could not discuss this with an assassin trying to kill her. He looked to the Knight and gave the signal, then looked to the assassin.
The Knight recognized the signal, and retrieved the sword from earlier. Shortly after, the King and the Knight joined together as they attacked the assassin! But, the Knight slightly staggers as the wound was worse then before!
(Notice how my Knight is wounded, and recall that before this applies to my score. Recognize that my Knight was bleeding earlier, and the blood has not stopped thus far...therefore, loss of blood. This is -3 to any roll I make)
(But! I want both of my attacks to hit. And so, I'll use 6 for the King and 9 for the Knight. However, thanks to blood loss, -3 which makes that 6. Both still a hit in the end.)

(What of my third character, the assassin? Well, he had to defend against both attacks, so I decided to post again with rolling his scores of defense.)
(Look at my scores, and notice how there's three. Two is to defend each attack, while the third will be an attack. The score being 8,7,8 I believe our assassin is fairing well wink )
The bloody assassin laughed at the little speech of "life" that the King gave. "But, of course....fruit from the tree of life is all but too sweet to let go so soon." He jests, going along with the so called 'quote' the King was attempting. The assassin stood on despite the Knight rising, knowing full well that wound was still bleeding from before. And as the two attacked, he drew out his twin blades! Each blade clashing against each other, and the assassin stood unharmed.
He then drew in his blades, and flipped over the two protecting the princess until he was directly beside her. "Come then, princess, prove it against me?" He challenges, attacking her!
(I have used both my 8s in his defense, and 7 for his attack. Continue Shab ^~^)

((alright lets go))
The princess shrieked some as she deflected the attack. It was an alright deflect and actually gave power to the attack. ((4 if i am correct gives the attack +2)) She swung hard at the assassin but was off due to her inadequate training.

(Correct! 4 into deflecting their attack will have +2 bonus onto powering your attack. You're score was 8, thus if you parry your 8 turns into 4 and 4. You use 4 for deflecting, and that grants you a +2 to your attack. Now your 4 for attack turns into a 6, making your attack a hit!)
(Again, I roll...then edit my post accordingly.)
The bloody assassin winces as he defends the attack properly. He winces as she had stabbed him with her sword.....and jumps back to avoid the King's sword and the King comes up from behind. The Assassin stood as blood leaked through his shirt and cloak...."Very good Princess....." He says, slowly looking up towards her.
(Notice that I only have two scores. I obviously used 4 for his defense against the Princess....but what about my 8? I used 8 against the King.)
(But wait! How could I use 8 against the King when the King didn't have an attack score and I didn't have him attack?
Let's imagine....that I didn't rp the King. Someone else did, instead. What if the King attacks the assassin? Then surely, he'll need a score to defend against it. Thus, I have him use 8 to dodge the attack. I did this as an example on how to respond to multiple attacks while still using the Method)

The princess watched as the blood streaked assassin dodged her fathers attack. "Don't ever come back." She ordered and sheathed her sword.

The Assassin watched as the princess sheathed her sword...and gave a crooked grin. "I will return, your Majesty. For your blood will have its turn upon my blade..." He says with a chuckle. A low bow followed, and he gave her a sly wink.
The Knight had gathered all the other Knights of the kingdom, and came from all sides around the assassin. "Never you fiend..." The Knight spoke out, and with that each knight drew their weapon. The King stood beside his daughter, and glared at the assassin....he gave the signal for the knight to kill.
But, of course, before they laid one hand onto the assassin...he was gone without a trace using a smoke bomb as cover. A pool of his blood laid where he once stood....yet no trail laid out to trace back to the man. The bloody assassin seemed to have disappeared as if by magic.
The Knights stood down, and each paid their respects to the King and the Princess before leaving to try to find the assassin. The King turned towards his daughter, at first, with a look of dismay. "I hope you have learned from all this...." He says, standing firmly in front of her as he started to glare. But, his eyes softened and soon he took out a flower from his robe. "....learned that you mustn't fight alone. You are young, and I never wish for you to be in any danger....but, with allies you can trust..I know you can trust in them and yourself to find your victory. Never forget that I am by your side....even if you may not see me." He jokes, and smiles as he embraces her. He puts the flower into her hair...the flower being a yellow daffodil. The flower's meaning being of chivalry.
Far into the forest, away from the castle, the assassin laid on a tree's branch. "Your blood...shall be mine...Princess..." He whispers, licking his blade. The wind passing by and the leaves began to shake....and the branch stood empty with no trace of the man.
