whatever crime he may or may not have done...
Marc followed Rui into the common room to see the Vice President and Mac...doing something. Given how violent she was, Marc was going to assume she was attempting to kill him or something. Except she didnt' really seem to be. Then again, she didn't seem to be doing much of anything besides sitting on him.
It just solidified the fact that everyone in the school was insane.
"Is there something besides hot choco---" he stopped when he saw the death glare being leveled at him by the vice president. Ugh. women.
"Hot chocolate is fine." He had no desire to have her sit on him next and...do whatever she was doing to Mac. He'd just shut up and drink the hot chocolate....bag them like bodies and flick switches one by one
to a bedside lamp, then step out into the cold.

He will definitely just drag Marc out of this before she let them eat those.. "I'm.... I..." Looks like Marc somehow got scared of the midget and lost... Rui couldn't help but to sigh helplessly.. So the Dining hall had been cancelled.. He reached for a mug and slacked at the other couch across.. Sheez.. "I'm thinking about it.. Since we haven't finished about the orientation.. And I'm concern about that kid at the clinic.." blowing the hot steam before taking a sip.. Hmmm?.. It tastes good, Angela didn't lose her touch.. But of course, the compliments are for him to keep.. "Where are the others?" __________________________________ "You believe lies, so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself,
and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.."

I'm just a girl next door, I can hear the rumors take off"  ❥ Churuine finally appeared from the door and wave a hand for the students inside the common room.. Of course she had to put a good impression for all of them.. Oh.. There's the president and the small VP.. And... Mr. Cutie Hottie!
"I hope I'm not that late for this hot chocolate party... Sorry, I just need to do something back at my dorm.."
She walked towards the table and grab a cup, this must be the teacher's mix and.. Hmmmm.. It smells so good, Churuine couldn't just wait to take a sip on it.. Oh.. Cookies?.. Ugh...She would just skip on that.. It's full of fattening sugar something.. And look for a place to sit in..
Churuine just grabbed a chair. And smile while taking a sip.. Ohh.. Soothing..and warm.. Looking at Rui.. "How was your head?.. I saw you bleeding right there... I'm glad it stopped.. And oh... This hot choco tastes good.. I wonder who made this?"
taking another sip.. She would just burn it while jogging somewhere else... Or maybe she'll visit the gym.."Thanks for the jacket by the way.. I've send it to the laundry and give it to you once its already blow dried.." Somehow she should take note of Marc for being touchy... Well, boys do tend on doing it, making a quick move on her... For now, she would just assume he's one of them.. "I move in mysterious ways that got them curious

MAC MACPHEE  "Well fine then, How about tea sometime?" Mac flinched as Angela smacked him one last time. "Or I dunno, a gift or something? I'd offer to get you flowers, but you probably wouldn't trust them anyways." He sat up as she slid off of him reaching for his hat. "And I was a little busy hiding to find the time to down a cup, although..."
He tugged a mug out of his hat and took a draw. "It's quite good. Or... I said no more tricks didn't I? Sorry. It's sort of a habit." He paused as other students began to file into the room. The student council president, and those two rich kids... And he was still soaked. Right. He resisted the urge to sneeze and took another drink of his chocolate. "Told you." He grinned under his breath at Rui's comment.
Well, thing seemed to be livening up here. It was time for him to be changing into something dry. He stood, placing his mug on the table with a soft clink and heading towards his dorm room.
"Er... I'll be back for that." He said, pointing to the mug before he left.

With her hands full with her suitcases, Lucy somehow managed to lug them into the common room of the Astronomy wing. As she walked into the room, she let go of her bags and squeezed her hand, as if to massage it.
She looked around the room. Five people were in there. A black haired girl, Lucy imagined her to be, ditzy and a little annoying, a "pretty" boy, probably up himself, a white haired girl, she seemed relatively normal, and a girl with purple hair, probably a little weird, and then a dark haired male, probably a plain jane.
Lucy took in the surrounding and her facial expression stayed the same. Neutral, there was no specific expression, just her face. She tugged at the end of her dress and looked at the people in the room.

whatever crime he may or may not have done... Marc took a cup of hot chocolate as he sat down, blowing across the top before taking a sip. He supposed it wasn't bad--not his favorite drink, but it was nice to have something warm. He listened to the others chatter amongst themselves before Mac got up to go change (after pulling a mug from his hat. Strange man). "Don't worry too much about the jacket, Churuine. I can have it sent out and cleaned; you shouldn't trouble yourself with it." And that jacket was far too expensive to just toss in the dryer or something. It would be ruined for sure--trust a rich girl not to even be able to tell that much.
As they sat there, another girl came in, loaded down with luggage. Looked like some stragglers were still arriving to the school. Without thinking, he stood and smiled. "Hello--it looks like you're just arriving. Would you like help getting your luggage to your room?"
He really didn't give a damn about her luggage but playing the kind gentleman was second nature by now. It would have felt weird not to offer. Besides, from the way she was rubbing her hand, she (like most women) had packed far too much and was having trouble carrying it without hurting herself....bag them like bodies and flick switches one by one

Crap. Attention was on her already. Lucy looked up at Plain Jane. He offered to help with her bags. Lucy looked at him. He seemed strong enough, but then again, Lucy could have carried her own bags, oh well, less work for her. "If you want" she said, in an almost monotone voice, and handed him a bag. He did offer.

the right road to Faerie is the blink of an eye... "What others?" Angela asked, "I think this is everyone assigned to this dorm. Well, there might be one other. I'd have to check my clipboard. But I think we've got nearly everyone here." She smirked, slightly, as she watched him sip the hot chocolate. She knew he'd go for it. He always did. She was glad, though, that he seemed to be feeling better. all that attention he was getting earlier probably had him freaked out.
She was also glad his roommate seemed to be someone all serious and responsible. It was a good match, she hoped. She didn't like to admit it, but she spent a lot of time worrying about Rui and how he was handling the stress of being student body president. He was just so uptight--sometimes she worried he was going to have a break down or something. Poor guy.
"I made it," she told Churu, smiling at her. "Glad to see someone appreciates it. I don't think I ever caught your name, incidentally. I'm Angela. Student body VP and all that."...where charming old stories, in blood are expressed
like tears of cream on a strawberry dress.

Who is the lamb and who is the knife?"Zev stood in the doorway, staring up at the ceiling. After sitting in the same seat for several hours and eating peanuts, he finally made it to the Academy. He hated having to stay in one place for a long time, but it was worth it. Now he could get some sleep. That was what he thought, at least. The front office directed him here, the Astronomy Wing, to receive his room assignment and a roommate. He switched into the uniform - leaving his hoodie on - and was now where he was standing. Before a group of strangers. Friendly strangers, hopefully. At least they weren't shooting arrows at him, or trying to put him in a black pot. He entered the room carefully, munching on the last bag of peanuts he had. His duffel bag was slung over his shoulder carelessly, his fiddle case tucked inside. He felt his stomach doing flips.
His nose caught the trail of something sweet. Was that... hot chocolate? Zev followed his nose to where the drinks were being served and poured himself a cup. He took a long sip from the cup, reveling in it's sweetness. Ahhhhhh. I haven't had this in a long time! It's good to be back in civilization."Midas is king and he holds me so tight
And turns me to gold in the sunlight"

"It's alright.... I'm going to wash it though.. There were lots of washing machines at the den.."
She's rich, somehow it would be a plus factor.. And.. Rui is rude enough to ignore her.. Duh! Whatever..

whatever crime he may or may not have done... Marc grimaced. Of course he didn't want to carry her bags--who would want to carry her bags for a complete stranger? He was just offering to be polite and because it didn't look like anyone else was going to lift a finger to help her. He had a reputation to keep up, after all. Ugh.
Still, Marc took the bag she thrust at him without complaint, giving her a slight smile as he did so. "It's no problem, I assure you." He glanced over at Churuine as she said something crazy about his jacket. Wash it!? Was she insane? That was a five hundred dollar jacket! You couldn't exactly just toss it in the washing machine.
"Oh, ah, I believe it's dry clean only actually," he told her, a little nervously. He glanced back at the girl in front of him, sighing. Why the hell were there so many females in this dorm? Annoying. It was a pity they had a coed common room at all. "If you'll lead the way? Unfortunately, I can't do more than carry it to the hallway of the girl's area. Males aren't allowed past that point."...bag them like bodies and flick switches one by one

"Same for you," Angela told Churuine, watching as another male entered and joined them silently. He didn't say a word to anyone and she didn't remember seeing him before. She mentally went over the list of students she'd assigned dorms to and tried to match all the names with faces of people she'd already met. "Hello," she told him. "Would you be Zevran by any chance?" she asked.
Angela yawned softly and pulled her legs up onto the sofa, drawing them to her chest as she continued to sip her hot chocolate. Well, at least everyone was sort of calmly sitting around together, bonding or whatever.
It was definitely better than everyone lurking around maliciously destroying each other's things or something like that. Oh yeah, she probably needed to address dorm discipline with Rui. She hoped it wouldn't be a problem but stolen items, broken items, things like that--they needed to have a plan for how to deal with those kinds of things.
Every dorm was going to have at least two teachers but they couldn't bother the teachers with every little thing. That was why the student council existed. And given some of the people in their group, she had a feeling this calm was just a temporary lull before the storm hit. So it was better to be prepared, just in case.

If they stood next to each other, he'd be a foot taller than she was. Note to self: don't call her small. He smiled pleasingly at her, glad that somebody here knew his name at least. In answer to her question, he nodded and grinned, happy as can be. Someone was talking to him! He did wonder how she knew his name. Maybe she's somebody important. Ohhhh, like the President! Or something like that. He continued to stay silent. He barely says anything to other people anyways, unless he felt like it. Trying to introduce himself was always the hard part. He held his hand out, palm up, as if to motion for her to introduce herself as well."Midas is king and he holds me so tight

There was a lot of chatter going on in the common room. Lucy looked at Plain Jane and bluntly said "Of course not. You wouldn't have asked if it was. Just plain chivalry am I right?"
Her mouth was a straight line. She listened to Plain Jane and the black haired girl harp on about his "dry clean only" jacket. As he said he cant go into the girls room Lucy nodded. "Of course not" she said and grabbed the remainder of her bags and headed for the girls dormitory. "Come on then" she said and headed out of the common room door.
