Ariane felt a little better after seeing Dakota's failure; after all, misery loves company. Since she had just failed a charged attack herself, she decided not to rub it in his face.
"Oi, don't relax!" She grinned, not letting such a good opportunity to strike slip past her. Kintama raised, she swung the balls at him, not really aiming for anywhere in particular; it was a painful game of chance, but she was pretty confident of landing a hit at this range, "The spar's not over yet."

Misery did love company. So much so that when she came at him, he barely even flinch and took the hit right on.
And then pulled the chain of her balls so she would come stumbling on to him. he grinned as he looked at her and then let Chama flare up, engrossing her fear shield in fire.
"I like it better when your close Ariane, It gets a little hot in here."

Ariane's eyes widened in surprise; she didn't think that Dakota would do something like that. She didn't think about letting go, mostly because hunters were pretty much trained to never let their weapon go-
-so she fell on Dakota. Grinning at him, she leaned in despite the heat that was slowly eating away at her Fear shield... And then headbutted him right before pushing herself off, loosing the scarf around her neck as she stood up. Fanning herself with a hand, she laughed, and then swung her weapon at him again, "It is getting hot here, but it's not you."

If it was Chama, she would've been furious at the idea of another human touching her. Dakota shrugged mentally in his mind and gave her the cockiest...'Yeah but it worked the way I wanted it too.' before tuning her out again.
And like a charm, it did work as she fell on him. For a second he even thought she would give into the sweet temptation that was Dakota and blinked as her head got closer to his...before headbutt.
He was seeing stars.
What came out was something like - "Dad an astronaut? Because someone took the stars from the sky and they are spinning around my head." He blinked as he ebbed the pain away.
"I'll get you back Ariane." he winked as he hooked his foot from the ground around her ankle and pulled it. Hopefully she would land hard...

"You really are the cheesiest of th-" Before Ariane could finish what she wanted to say, she found herself falling again, this time backwards. Although she tried to use her arms to cushion the fall, it still hurt like a b***h; at least she didn't hit her head, or she might have gotten a concussion, Fear shield or not.
Pushing herself off the ground, she winced, gritting her teeth before charging at Dakota, "And I'll get you back for that." She used one side of her weapon to hit him behind his knees, trying to get him to kneel again, and then simultaneously used the other side of her weapon to whack him on his back.

"Really am the cheesiest of the what-?" He blinked and then stared at Araine...and then he was kneeling as balls came for him.
From his back...
For his butt...
He was really in danger....Even his flare from Chama barely scratched the female hunters as she came in, Balls flying.

"Cheesiest of them all," Ariane replied with a grin as she did it from behind. And by that, I meant that she attacked Dakota from the back again; it was probably a good thing that she had a blunt weapon, and not something sharp or pointy.

Ah man Ah man ah man.
Dakota stumbled forward where he face planted on the ground and remained there.
Chama was held up with part of his coat in a makeshift 'white flag' of surrender.
"You win Ariane baby, Please...just...no more attacking me with your balls." And remained on the ground...to lay there for eternity or till he got his breath caught after taking it in the back so much.
(pfft)
