"You're so tough," Siddie whispered. "They can't break you. You always come through." She placed a kiss on Sammy's nose. "I believe in you I'm not sure what else I believe in any more, but I believe in you."
"I'll always love you," she answered. "Even if you - if you left, if you weren't with me. That's what love is, isn't it? Being constant. Remembering and always loving."

A small smile broke over her face, the flames in her eyes perking and dancing playfully as she was kissed. "Nah I'm not tough, just stupid enough to never give up in the face of Jack awful odds."
What came next caused the ghoul to shift pulling Siddie even closer the kiss to her nose was returned on soft black lips. "I don't plan to leave you, not for long, or ever if I can help it. This is my home, I'll always try to come back to it, to you, to Shehk, Amrita, Barth, everyone. I'd do anything to keep our lives safe here."

Siddie giggled, a tiny sound in the dark of the room, but still a laugh. "Isn't that what being tough is? Not giving up even if it's dumb?"
She returned the kiss gladly, cuddling against Sammy; the zombie ghoul wasn't soft, but her angular form was good to feel against Siddie's curves. "I want to help. I want you to be safe too," she murmured.

"I guess you have a point with that." Her own chuckle was a hint deeper but still full of mirth at the simple joke
Curled together kissing and whispering, it was a lovely thing. She enjoyed time like this, though it rarely seemed to happen anymore with the constant chaos in their lives. "Then be here, or follow the Horsemen, chase me into battle or be what waits at home. Just love me Siddie, give me a reason to always call this place home." She whispered before kissing the ghoul again on the cheeks then the lips.

"Maybe I could be tough too." Siddie giggled again, touching her nose to Sammy's and feeling better for the quiet togetherness.
"I will," she promised, closing her eyes and wrapping her arms around Sammy, kissing her and curling up close. Clove chirped irritably and wriggled out from between the two ghouls to go curl up in its padded basket. It had been having a nice cuddle; why did they have to go and get all squish-close like that?

"I'd suggest going undead for that. Durability is a deciding factor in just how 'tough' I feel that day." She chuckled softly as they slowled entwined a bit more with kiss and hug.
Of course Clove didn't enjoy that and wiggled free to while chirping in protest causing Sammy to laugh. "Okay that? Clove? Total mood killer," she continued to chuckle a bit longer before sighing, "Clove'll understand one day right, just needs to find a Drutten to tumble in the cabinet with."

Siddie laughed. "I'll consider it," she teased back.
"Clo~ove, you silly thing," she smiled. "You'll find a pretty drutten for nice cuddles someday, I just bet you will." She giggled and nuzzled Sammy's neck.

"Just remember to record a video telling you how awesome I was and that you loved me loads before you do, I hear going dead has memory issues. Course I woke up this way so no biggy for me right?" She reached up ruffling Siddie's hair playfully before shifting to glance over her shoulder at the fussing Drutten tucked into its own bed.
"Yep, and then you'll understand mommies cuddle times better." She let out a slight sigh of surprise as Siddie nuzzled into her neck the closeness returning after the moment of needed humor. Her purple eyes continuing to flicker delighted.
This was the life she wanted to protect, this little spot right here just like this.
