"I don't know the full details, word of mouth from others. Direct FEAR, from its source. How we would get that I haven't a clue. Not in a situation like that."

You confuse me. Who is this Invictus, and what were his offerings considering a Fear source? What good would a greater Fear source have done? Riley looked genuinely confused - and genuinely interested. Sammy knew more than she'd ever expected.

"Right. Memory missing. Hold on." She composed herself again bringing forth mental images of the Heir, lingering the most of their time on his home island. Wandering a closet that dwarfed their own dorm rooms. Eventually flickering past a new image, Invictus evolved, something more something new as the island fell apart around them.
"What I know, is that a greater source of Fear comes from a human. Hunters don't count, their weapons feed on Fear, our existence being created from us. What it could do? I don't know to be honest. It was a theory, nothing more, and not something we can exactly test right now."
She sighed, "It's rather hard to find a human while visiting the Horsemen islands especially in the middle of trying to keep us from killing you, and you from killing us."

Sammy's comfortable level with placing her memories into Riley's mind made Riley shift slightly in her seat. She'd only just gotten used to how familiar Malodore seemed with her, in that respect.. to have another person, one she apparently wasn't mated to, do the same, made her fidget. Nevertheless, the information was priceless, and she stood the discomfort easily in exchange.
You have not explained the theory. This is vital information to me.

"I don't know that part, it's only a theory I've heard in passing. I don't know the exact way it would work or how it would help just that is has the possibility to do so."
She sighed, "I'm not the expert on healing and Fear, Riley, that's Maladore, maybe Shehk, or Cricket. Ask the people who fixed you up though I still don't trust them."
She flexed her left bone hand slowly, "I fight, plain and simple. The science and theories, that's others work."

Ah. Riley relaxed visibly when Sammy admitted to the limits of her knowledge, and she settled back comfortably. Well, regardless, you seem to know a lot of important information based on your experiences. It's good to retain and share this knowledge as you are doing. And you are right not to trust the bogeys. Though they've brought me back, it is at a price, and it is clear it was done for their own goals. This was not a mercy mission. She laughed, a hollow sound. Well, in that case, Sammy - never stop fighting. To do what you do best is to make the best use of your time.

"I know bits and pieces, at the end of the day my greatest asset is my ability to fight, it always has been, and always will be I think." She watched her bone fingers flexing for a moment before tightening into a fist. "Still though, they brought you back. That's more then what we could do for Red. It gives me a goal. Something to work with. I'll find a way, a way to help them fix it."
Slowly she rocked forward out of her seat standing up with a stretch. "What time I have left. If Red's right... I'll end up as dead as she is now if I keep going this way." She frowned, "My only regret is what that would do to Siddie and Shehk, to my friends." She looked at Riley behind her frowning a bit, not angry, simply sad, "We lost one of us once. We don't need to be losing anyone else."
